Since nothing was actually done incorrectly, and my real issues are with scheduling and communication, I'm bumping this up to 3 stars. I still feel like Dr. Patton was rushed. A few minutes explaining that the filling was unusually deep and I might experience pain for a few weeks or even months would have gone a long way. Went in for a filling. Waited in the chair for 30 minutes after they numbed me before they got started. I overhead that Dr. Patton had 3 people booked at once and that's why she was late. Wish they had given me the option to reschedule, but oh well. Despite being numb the filling became painful as they kept working. I wanted to ask about it, but Dr. Patton left before I was even upright. The hygienist suggested I use ibuprofen and call them if it remained painful. Since then I have been in pain and using ibuprofen to manage it. I waited a week to see if it would subside, then tried to make an appointment. After playing phone tag (I never was able to call and get a human being on the phone), I finally got a call back. Because I couldn't take their first available appointment in 3 days time due to a work meeting, I was told I would have to take one on April 14th. That's two weeks out. When I asked why I couldn't get a sooner emergency appointment I received a sarcastic 'well coudn't you move your meeting?'. No, I have to work too. Deeply displeased with this place. I don't understand all the positive reviews. I'm going to be getting this fixed elsewhere.

The reschedule/cancelation practices/policy of this office is horrible ! (and they do not give you a print out of that policy) Don't ever have to cancel your apts at this office. NOT days or weeks prior to your actual apt date and time for any reason, they will scold you and read you the riot act and basically threaten to kick you out of the practice and not schedule the entire family at all !!!! As a family of 5, I had to cancel and reschedule a few apts due to unforeseen circumstances that had happen in our family, April the front desk lady went off on the phone saying and complaining of all the missed/canceled and rescheduled apt she had to do, which was false! however, scheduling apts is part of a front desk job. April Stated that I was wasting other patients time, when the few apts that was canceled and rescheduled were done days and up to a week prior to the apt., usually dentist and doctors offices have a policy for cancelations 24/48 hours prior to appointment. Never have we ever not shown for an apt! I'm certain they would not want anyone there who is sick. April has called to cancel and reschedule our apts for their own office issues, and that was ok . The office doesn't make it easy, patient friendly or convenient to make apts, sense the office seems to be closed more then its opened. I know there are lots of patients who get very nervous when going to the dentist, they have a real fear of having dental work done, well this doesn't make the experience any easier or pleasant. The first and the last impression left at any office experience is the person that sits at the front desk of any office, and this one is NOT GOOD ! Front desk staff has NO compassion! A Very RUDE, and unprofessional office. you will be VERY disappointed!

Fusion Dental has been wonderful overall spanning a decade or more of visits by me and my children…read more We went to Fusion Dental Eldersburg because my daughter was scared of our previous dentist and because I had had some bad experiences with a dental hygenist at the previous office. Fusion made up for what the other dentist's office lacked! Fusion offered prizes and presented a much gentler experience for my kids. I also am a skittish patient, so I appreciate their general conversation, accommodation to my needs, and thoroughness. Every once in a while, there will be a problem, but overall, I appreciate the staff and the dentists. The care is good and thorough. Sometimes, it depends on the personality of the team you have at the time you are seen; however, I generally have had very good experiences with the practice. Would recommend!

They charge my insurance for a deep cleaning service that I am 100% sure I did not get, a service that I clearly remember told them I do not want. Why should I pay for a service I did not get and clearly say I do not want? 3) They are horrible. 4) They are not honest. I used to take all my family there for years but realized that they changed. The service was was good many years ago, but most of the good and honest doctors/assistants that used to be part of this group already left. As far as billing, I knew was getting overcharge but did not do anything about it because of lack of time.

They have billing people, sales people, xray/mri techs, and dental hygienist. I was told my crowns that had been in my mouth for years were breaking. I received somewhere around $5500 to remove 2 crowns and replace them with pearly white crowns. But, they are molars that nobody can see so they really need to just he functional After about 2 years this past October one of the caps came out while I was chewing gum. I took it and placed it in a small cup to protect it. The tooth didnt appear damaged but had some clear apoxy inside the cap. I set an appointment and went to see Dr Moon. He never looked in my mouth, or took the tooth out of the container. He said "The cap is broken off and we need to extract the tooth and insert a screw in into my jaw. They gave me an estimate which is gone over with by the cute very nice sales consultant. They gave me a scan of my jaw and charged me $250 on my way out the door. I kept Dr Moon from throwing my cap in the garbage. A few days later I spoke to another area dentist. I told that person of my experience and that he never even tried to insert it. A few days later I visited that dentist, they looked at the cap, cleaned the underside to remove the old cement and placed it for fit. What do you know the tooth went in perfectly. The dentist told me that they couldn't understand why he didn't try and that the cap or tooth weren't broken. The cap was reinserted into my mouth with another adhesive product and it's perfect with no problems. If you want a pristine high priced teeth he's probably your guy. That includes a pillow, blankets, and a movie while he does a your dental work in his fancy office. But, there was no concern for my pain from an unnecessary extraction, an insertion surgery , healing time, and a new screw in molar. Not to mention the more than $2500 for the tooth he wanted to throw in the trash. I can't remember the exact cost for 1 screw in but I believe it was more than one of the crowns, $3000 plus. In addition, he had the audacity to send me a bill after I requested my records be transferred to another dentist. As if he didn't gouge me enough already. It's less than a $100 that I will likely pay so he can't send me to a collection agent. Signed, An unhappy patient

When I called to schedule, the gentleman who answered was pleasant, and confirmed the office was accepting new patients. However, they also said my family of 6 would have to split into at least 2 appointments. This is incredibly inconvenient, as I now have to take off time on multiple days of work in order for my entire family to be seen, instead of just one morning or afternoon. When the gentleman asked for my insurance, and I told him, he hesitated, and put me on hold to verify they accept the plan. When he returned to the line several minutes later, I was informed that although they do accept our insurance, they "will not be accepting any new patients with that insurance." I asked a clarifying question, that was along the lines of "so basically, my insurance doesn't pay well enough, so you're rejecting my family, even though your are credentialed, in-network, and previously confirmed you are taking new patients?" The response was very much a "I guess so, that's what I am being told when I asked the boss." It is absolutely, 100% a major integrity concern, and absolutely discriminatory for them to reject business in this fashion, and violates their contract with this insurance provider. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Very disappointed.
