I was able to get an appointment at 6:30 PM on a Monday. The dentist was extremely down to earth and very personable. I think his name is Jim. He talked me through next steps and made me feel extremely comfortable, especially after I told him that I'm not a huge fan of going to the dentist. He explained to me my options as far as anesthesia, using laughing gas, etc. Overall I had a great first experience. Took off a star because for my next step, I had to book out all the way to January 2027; however, they did say that a hygienist is coming back from maternity leave soon and her books will open up. They put me on a list to be called and noted my appt preferences. Hopefully I can be seen for my next appointment soon!

Dr. Jimmy is absolutely the most knowledgeable, patient, and thorough dentist. He is very personable and the way he provides care clearly demonstrates how much of his entire heart and soul is invested into his craft. I go to a different hygienist for my cleanings and all have been extremely efficient and very professional. The front desk staff is just as kind and very friendly. This is an office with such a welcoming vibe that also focuses on excellence in care. They also have an oral surgeon and other specialist available within their offices. I have had procedures by Dr. Vendetti who is equally amazing, friendly, and just all around wonderful. As a matter of fact, any and all interactions with any dentists at this practice have been nothing but fantastic. Highly recommend!!! You will feel welcomed and will get the best possible dental care.

I will speak my truth over and over again. After all was said and done I had a horrible dental abscess that caused the most excruciating pain that I have ever experienced in my life, and I blame this dental practice. Dr. Murphy spoke with me over the phone while I was in debilitating pain and had the nerve to suggest that he would "fit me in tomorrow for a trigger point injection". I blame this practice for being a poor representation of the dental community and whole-heartedly blame them for making me unnecessarily suffer because they have lost their way in patient care.

I really appreciated Dr. Truesdale taking the time to talk to me about my dental issues from a wholistic approach and I even vocalized that to her during my appointment. I scheduled my appointment for fillings and came in for my second appointment for the procedure. My appointment was at 9:40am. I walked in at 9:35 am and filled out my paperwork and was not seen until about 10:20am. I believe my procedure was started around 10:30. The delay was not ideal but I'm generally pretty understanding when it comes to doctor's offices and the domino effect of delays with one patient effecting the rest of the day so I was not too bothered. The procedure itself was brief, which I appreciate because I had to rush back to work afterwards. I then went to the front desk to pay my copay and I requested a quote for a night guard. The woman at the desk notified me that she had "provided me a quote already" and seemed very impatient. She then told me the price and it was out of my budget ($300 out of pocket) so I told her I would hold off for now. She had me pay my copay for the fillings, gave me my receipt, and as I was about to leave she said "oh wait there's an outstanding balance on your account for another $60 for counseling. Since you talked about your TMJ during your last appointment and your insurance doesn't cover counseling." I did not argue, as I was a little shocked and my mouth was still very numb from my procedure. I said nothing and swiped my card. This interaction made me uncomfortable. I was not given a choice as to if I wanted "counseling" or not and I have never had a dentist charge me for this before. I would really appreciate a heads up so I can opt in or out of a service. I have a very tight budget and this extra $60 makes it difficult for me to get gas this week for my car. I then walked out of the office to my car and looked in my mouth. I had metal residue on multiple teeth from the removal of my old fillings. I know this is not technically harmful but I didn't want to swallow that. Taking a few seconds after the procedure to rinse/ brush off my teeth would have really been appreciated. This experience left me feeling rushed out, undervalued, and taken advantage of. Not to mention, I found a new dentist, same insurance and they quoted me only $150 out of pocket for my mouth guard. That's half the price that Innovation Dental quoted me. They also billed codes to my insurance for "oral surgery" when I got my fillings and that is still up for debate on if it was appropriate. I have my insurance company looking into it. I would not go back here. Between the wait times and shady charges, I was left unsettled.

So I really can't say enough good aspects of this practice, but I will try. I accidentally broke a…read moremolar biting into a piece of popcorn. I immediately called my regular dentist of over 45 years. Unfortunately for me he is in a new practice and they don't take our insurance. He did see me however & I paid cash so I knew what I needed done to fix the tooth. I came home and started calling the dentist he recommended to confirm they accept my insurance. None did. I finally found White marsh dental & Dr. Kelmenson. I arrived at the office early to fill out any additional paperwork and was promptly greeted & checked in. I quickly went back to get X-rays done and then into a chair. The dentist reviewed the X-rays and said it could be fixed with a new filling but it will likely need a root canal since it is broke just at the gum line. I explained to Dr Kelmenson I don't do well with needles especially coming towards my face/mouth. He said I could get nitrous oxide to help relax me. I just had to pay out of pocket for the nitrous. Ok, I was fine with that. He put the mask on me and take a few deep breath's and he was able to get the novocaine injection done and move right into fixing my tooth. He explained everything he was doing and respected me being a medical professional so he could explain things in medical terms and I understand. Excellent bedside manner. I am definitely going back for my 6 month cleaning and as tough as it is to find a good dentist.... I have found 2 Dr Kelmenson here and my previous dentist. Overall I would recommend this practice4/5 I'm only taking a star off because it's hard to get an appointment. I am used to having a few Saturday hours but this office doesn't.

When you get there, they always seem not to be expecting you. Then once they get started, it seems they are rushing to do 5 things at once. Like how can I make the next appointment while your hands are still in my mouth, and the assistant is handing me the spit cup? Why don't you already know what I had done last time? I can tell you but not while there are 4 hands and all kinds of tools in my mouth, and someone handing me things. Slow down and understand that patients are not pros at this. We get dental work done once in a while and it's kind of difficult for us. We shouldn't be asked to multitask while under duress and while paying top dollar, just so you don't have to spend one extra minute with us. I'd cancel my next appointment but I bought a membership on the strength of the first visit (prompt response to a painful need) so I'm just stuck I guess. If you're ok with a bit of chaos and little roughness, she's very good. If not, go elsewhere.

I had previously been taken care of Dr. George Shepley for 30 yrs. receiving excellent gentle care. The last time I went to see Dr. Block, it was a back wisdom tooth that she said needed a filling. She jabbed the needle in to numb it causing extreme pain, I screamed but she could care less how she was hurting me and it was very obvious. She has no compassion about her patients feelings.
