All of the staff there is amazing,5 stars to everyone! Our naturalist (Witakay, not sure on the spelling) is an amazing human being and he is my sons top favorite person now,he tells me everyday how much he liked him and misses him. I love seeing how inclusive and engaging this place was,it kept my son (and every other kid there) on top of the world and having the much needed structure they all need. My son was TERRIFIED of heights and trying new things but his naturalist made him feel so comfortable and safe that he tried and excelled at everything he ended up doing. The cabins were perfect and the area was gorgeous! Thank you SO much to everyone involved,we are already talking about possible summer camp coming up. Thank you just doesnt cut it,but i cant stop saying it! :)

This program was BS and even reading about said BS requires one to take a break. Because of this program, because of its negligence of a horrible situation I was forced to make the decision to leave completely. Left the apartment, left the city and the state! The staff couldn't get any worse. I was in the rapid rehousing program with Cheyenne as a caseworker. Upon entering the Mendocino Ave location you will notice that most of staff act like unprofessional high school students behind the counter. There was an old caseworker that had that quit, that also doesn't approve of the way this program is run. She was amazing, it's unfortunate they lost such a good worker. Anyway, I was in their housing program and paired up to share an apartment with one of their other clients. The client they set me up with had a baby and was pregnant. I didn't mind this, but I was nervous going into it. Needless to say my experience with said roomate was a disaster. She never cleaned up after herself and she would leave trash bags full of diapers in her room that would stink up the entire apartment. I was so used to the ammonia smell that I didn't even smell it anymore. My step dad came to visit and he got a blast of piss smell the second he walked through the door. It was nauseating. My roomate would leave food rotting and molding on the counters for weeks at a time and bring different men over constantly. I felt like I was living in a brothel. The program knew about the problems in the household and set up a chores list and other rules. I followed them did my chores, but she did not do her part. I had many problems with this roomate and could write a lot more about it but I'll end it there. She was awful and the program didn't do anything about her behavior towards me. I was so happy to leave this program. The only good thing about it was that they set us up in a really nice apartment complex, but the apartment was very very expensive so eventually we would have to pay full price. It's not really setting us up for success when the rent will eventually be too high. I had to fight bail and tooth to allow my ESA dog to stay with me but I'm glad I was eventually able to do that. The apartment complex itself was very dog friendly it was the program I had to fight with. I could add so many more things but aim tired of writing this so I'm just going to post.

We weren't expecting to be looking for another school as she just started her freshman year but she knew right away that it wasn't a good fit. Annie guided us by getting to know our daughter and our family well. She talked to us about boarding schools as she is very familiar with the East Coast boarding school scene. She attended a boarding school fair with us and made introductions as she knows many of the schools admission officers. While we ultimately decided that boarding school wasn't for us, she did lead us to an excellent private high school in San Francisco. She made the daunting search bearable and even fun. She was easy to work with and I highly recommend her to anyone interested in investigating boarding schools both coasts or independent schools in the SF Bay Area.

His organization and the information he provides about all of the schools are amazing and reduced the stress of having to research all of the small things for each school I was interested in. The way he guided me to write the essay was efficient and saved me a lot of time as I didn't have to write the same essay for another question that was similar to the last. I was able to finish my essays by August. It was a big relief and the whole process seemed very manageable with his help. His ability to provide fluidity in my writing and his knowledge of college admissions helped me especially because my writing was "impenetrable" or difficult for someone who didn't know me to understand. Besides the support he gave me with essays, he was also very easily accessible and understanding. I had his number and if there was anything that came up in the way of a meeting, I could just text him and I got a response in less than an hour. Any rescheduling of a meeting was simple and caused no trouble. Chris is a very straightforward person and gave me the support and advice I needed to write my essays. He is also pretty funny and a down-to-earth person which helped as meetings didn't come as something I didn't want to do. Chris was a great college counselor and I recommend him as his understanding of the application process and his ability to tutor and write were a great help.

Thanks to Chris, my life trajectory changed in ways I never imagined. Chris has also tutored me in other areas such as Math and Writing. Learning never ends and Chris is unceasingly helpful in all aspects of my life. He is the most incredible writer I have ever met. I also plan on using Chris' services when I enter the work force after college. Meticulously written cover letters, resumes and thank you notes will put you above the rest. Thank you Chris. I am forever grateful.

She is incredibly resourceful --whether it's tailoring lessons to my goals (conversational, ordering food, asking for directions), finding creative ways to explain tricky grammar, or sharing practical tips for real-world conversation, she always make sure students walk away with a deeper understanding, lots of practice time with each other, and had fun while doing it by focusing on topics that interests them or gamifying the lessons. She even wrote her own book series based on her experiences of what works best with young children and teens. Kyle balances professionalism with genuine warmth, so every session feels both productive and enjoyable. Despite my daughter's crazy schedule with sports, music, school activities, teacher Kyle always finds a way to be flexible and accommodate our needs. My daughter is now in high school and of course chose mandarin as her language of study because of the fun and support she received from teacher Kyle. She's been a wonderful teacher and makes learning Chinese a fun and enjoyable experience. She's friendly, engaging, and always has such positive energy. I'm so glad we found her! Kyle Laoshi uses a variety of games and activities to keep the class interesting, and she's so good at motivating my kids with fun digital prizes that they talk about with each other like they're real. ;] They like working from the printouts she provides, and they love how she shares funny personal stories related to the content they're learning. The class is a quick 30 minutes which works great for our busy schedule. Kyle makes efficient use of time in each session. The pace is just right and my kids are focused and engaged the whole time. Kyle is able to get them to chat conversationally in Chinese and participate often in each class. Our classes are usually a mix of native and non-native speakers, as well as kids of different ages. Kyle takes a lot of time before each new semester to make sure each student is placed in the best class for them. I highly recommend Kyle Laoshi as a Chinese teacher. She's a great fit for kids of all ages and skill levels, and she's always willing to work with you to find the best class for your child's needs. I'd recommend doing more than one class per week if your schedule allows, as we've found that both a conversational and a read/write class can provide a well-rounded learning experience. If you're looking for a dedicated, talented, and fun-loving teacher, Kyle is the one!

Marin Christian has been fined and admonished by the State Department for failing to support parental rights and for false reporting. Marin Christian/Noahs Ark administration got inappropriately involved in our custody case by being a trial witness for dad and made meritless claims. Their school administrator complained to the family law judge that I was a demanding parent by making a ONETIME request for my daughter's student file. All parents under the State Department have a right to request for their child's students file without being penalized. The administration also created false statements and willful misleading reports for our custody case filled with meritless speculations. I'm glad to say, my daughter no longer attends this poorly managed school since I am now the primary caregiver to our child resulting from the school's biased witness statements in our custody trial. Despite providing the administration a copy of our custody order, Marin Christian failed to provide me any information for my daughter for over a year. I had reached out to management and the board for early resolution but was blatantly ignored because the dad was on their PTA and had personal relations with Marin Christian organization. My recommendation is for Marin Christian senior leadership and board members review its policies and procedures to ensure their organization and the school administrators are adhering to State Department policies and guidelines to ensure the school is abiding by the law, not making baseless accusations, not getting inappropriately involved in custody matters and not having parental bias. Very disappointing actions from a Christian-based institution.
