That said, my stylist followed my nit-picky and occasionally ambiguous directions, took her time and did it right, gave me a good shampooing, and it looks great. (For only $12? Damn.) My cut is extremely even, which is a feat, because the default state of my combed/picked hair is a perfect sphere. No complaints. To the person who said "I told her to trim a little off the sides of my head and she decided to take out a buzzer and buzz my whole head" - If they pull out the clippers, and you don't want them to, bring it up. Or if they already started buzzing, let them know immediately. If they don't care, leave. It's not just a transaction where you tell them "I want this", sit back for 20 minutes, then be disappointed. It's an interaction.

When I arrived for my appointment I was very taken with the lovely location, very bright and clean, and greeted like an old friend by Deirdre at the desk. She made me feel comfortable and welcome while I waited for my appointment with Tammy. Tammy greeted me warmly and promptly at my scheduled time. This was by far one of the most painless Brazilian waxes I've ever had in my life. She was quick and professional and made the experience relaxing. When we were finished I was a little surprised because it seemed to go by quickly and the spots that normally make me hold my breath anticipating some pain were easy and painless. Cheyanne and Jess did makeup and hair for my mom and sister in law - and they looked beautiful. None of us wear a lot of makeup usually so it was really great that they were able to glam us up while still allowing us to look like ourselves, and be very natural. Highly recommend. Never did I get the advertised "deep-pore cleansing treatment and exfoliation". It was basically just a "seaweed mask after a face wash". Easily the lamest "facial" I've ever experienced. It should be billed as a massage - because that was most of the short 40 minute experience. (And the massage wasn't worth much either) Live and learn. I won't be going back.
