It looked bad.., my husband kept asking what is wrong with ur hair? Lol Well 3 month later, I couldn't handle what I looked like, so, I hit the internet to find a stylist! I think I might have found the most knowledgeable, kind, beautiful hairstylist ever! Liberna! Liberna, is her name! She is absolutely wonderful! She explained to me what I did when damaged my hair and what not to do again. Lol She fixed my color without bleaching. She gave me the best haircut.., I think I ever had? My hair looks so good I almost forget how awful I looked when I walked in to Jon Anthony's. I'm telling you honestly.., she is a perfectionist! I cannot believe my hair! I look great! Dwayne is sincerely the best in the business and the only person I trust with my hair now! Call me basic, but for years I've been asking for ashy blonde highlights but because my hair is so dark, we could either never achieve the right shade or my hair would go brassy after a good amount of washes. Let me tell you Dwayne has made my ashy blonde dreams come true and nails 'the look' every time!!! (insert clapping and party emojis) Even months later, I still have a good color tone to my hair and it never goes orange like it did before. Not only is Dwayne a master at coloring hair, but he has an eye for cutting it too. Last time I didn't have to show a picture. I also felt completely safe going in during this pandemic. First we discussed what my goal was regarding color and cut. I showed her pictures and she showed me samples. We selected the right base color with the perfect amount of foils to give my hair just the right amount of contrast. There wasn't any testing or painting of color. She just did exactly what I wanted. ( I had asked for this at a previous salon which told me they had to do a test appointment first.) As for the cut, this lady knows what she is doing! I showed her pictures and just like that it was perfect! I don't usually buy hair products or automatically schedule my next appointment. But with Lia there was no question! I am booked in 5 weeks and because I want to keep this color I asked about the correct shampoo to use. She never pushed the product. Most importantly, I felt very comfortable there! Very nice people!

I was stuck in this place for 7.5 hours and outrageously overcharged! The services I received typically take no more than 3 hours, max. I feel completely taken advantage of and misled at the consultation re: duration.

I went here about 4 times and noticed that my hair wasn't perfect but I'm a single mom, I'm busy, I…read moredon't have time to inspect my hair for perfection, but if I'm going to pay a professional, I expect a bit of professionalism. I called a friend of mine who is a hairdresser and asked her to look at it. Upon that inspection, I found NONE of the gray underneath the topmost layer was covered at all. She pulled the color through my hair all the way to the ends, when I just needed root coverage. She didn't do anything different this last time, so she must have been doing the same thing this whole time. I called the owner who made excuses saying color is always different and her coloring reps screw her over and give her the wrong products! So she's not getting good products and not correcting her suppliers. Then she said if you're sick, or on your cycle, OR IF THE WEATHER IS BAD, your color won't stay. That's COMPLETE B.S.! I asked for a refund for only the last coloring appointment I had (about $60) but she refused to give me money back and only offered to fix my hair, which I don't want anyone there touching my hair.
