After about 15 minutes, the cashier, a very sweet young lady I will say, was doing her best to get the "gift card issues" working on her computer, until finally she called a "manager." Another 5+ minutes only to be told that their "system is down." Needless to say, I was not happy, did not purchase my items since I Had a GIFT CARD that could not be used that had been PURCHASED for me. I was told to go to Arden area Ulta even though that store has closed. Then I was told I could use it online; as though spending an hour and 20 minutes in their store is all for nothing. Just go home and order online. IF I wanted to do that, I would have done it in the first place. A billion $$ conglomerate can't keep their "system" running for their VERY own gift cards! Here is what customer service should be: I am SO sorry for your inconvenience (1 hour & 20 minutes only to walk out with nothing). Let me give you some "points"; or a gift reward.
