The prices here are very reasonable ($25 for a womens wash, cut and blow dry and even less for men) and Annette is an absolute sweetheart to talk to. She was witty and so nice, just like everyone is around these parts. My hair looks great and she did exactly what I asked for and gave me some great tips about some issues I'd been having with my hair. Highly recommended and I'm thrilled to have found a new stylist when I'm in the area. Yay for cute locks!

I made an appointment for my daughter to get her hair braided on 7/9/2024. I paid the $25.00…read moredeposit. The appointment was made for 7/10 at 2:30. I chose the box braids for my daughter and the quoted price was $150. I received a text from Lexy a little after 2pm that she will be running 30 minutes behind. So asked her if she wanted there at 3pm and she said yes. I then sent Lexy a picture of the box braids my daughter wanted and told her she wanted the curlsadded in there. Lexy told me she didn't have curly hair and that would be extra. I explained to Lexy that I didn't see the option to click on the boho curls but I would pay the extra and I had the curly hair. Lexy liked that text message. Minutes later she sent a rude text to me saying I can't change the style and I should have given her a warning about the style change (It wasn't a style change just a few boho curls added in the braids). I couldn't believe I was being spoken to by someone running a business who was running 30 minutes late for my appointment. Since I don't believe in patronizing businesses who speak rudely to me I told Lexy to cancel the appointment and because she was running late. She insisted she would be charging my card a penalty because I cancelled. I told her I would make a complaint to my bank and the police if she did and then asked her what was her business policy for when she is running late. I then received a text saying my appointment was cancelled and I was banned from making another appointment there again. I seriously had to laugh because there is no way I will ever make an attempt to patronize this business again!

I introduced my friend to her and she still returns to Krystal even though she lives in Houston now. My friend even booked Krystal and Stacy to do our hair and makeup for her wedding. Every time I'm in major need of a haircut when I am back home this is where I try to go. However if you want to get your hair cut by Krystal you must book a month or two in advance to get the day and time you want. I was able to get a cut by Stacy couple weeks ago and she did a great job! Super friendly business but remember to bring cash!

She does nothing halfway and you most certainly get the best experience with most reasonable prices. I've gone to many other places in the area and I would rather wait for her to be available than settle for anyone else. Her facility is clean and easy to get to. The best part is that you aren't fighting traffic in a more retail/commercial part of the city. The oil center is the perfect location.
