I had the Brazilian blowout and it was overprocessed dull and dry my hair was stuck to my head the 2nd day I had to wear a scarf to keep the strings from hanging in my eyes after I told her I didn't want that had to wash my hair the 2nd day and put Vaseline in it it was so dull and dry not to mention a lot of it broke off I could see it as she was flat ironing my hair which was nothing by then and I paid 300.00 fir this plus a 60.00 tip afraid to leave my name or say who did it read more

Brought my daughter who has long, thick, straight hair for a haircut and blow out with style. The hairdresser spent less than 5 minutes cutting her hair - cut straight across the bottom once without going through her hair etc. Needless to say when I went though her hair at home it was completely uneven. To add insult to injury only the top layer of her hair was dry and it was completely wet underneath. I called to let the salon know and see what could be done (ie if I could bring her in to have someone else fix it) and they told me to call back the next day because the original stylist was not in. They were not apologetic or sympathetic at all. Overall, very disappointed. Spent $75 to come home with an uneven haircut and wet head and now I have to call back to follow-up to see if they will correct their mistakes. I definitely expected more from the salon. read more

***Attention*** Salon Identity is open on Sundays! I was in town for a wedding and wanted to get my hair done before. I called SO many salons (in advance) in the PSL area and literally no one was open...except these guys. Everyone was so nice and professional. I have been going to this salon for 5 years. Lately I was unable to get an appointment so I went elsewhere. They reached out to me claiming I had an appointment, which I did not because I had my hair done in a different salon twice already. As soon as they realized I was no longer using their salon the Reception became nasty and hung up on me. They are not the only salon in town anymore. Horrible salon. They call me a week before my appointment to tell me that my stylist no longer works there. They set me up with someone else. As she's cutting my hair , she tells me she's on heavy meds for a long time ,but forgot to take them that day. Didn't leave the color on my hair long enough. Didn't complain because I just wanted to get away from her. Before next appt. I find out she was let go. They make me another appt. but fail to tell me that the stylist who colored my hair,etc was a master stylist and when I paid the bill, it was almost double. When I complained, the girl at the desk told me maybe I should go somewhere else if I can't afford the bill.REALLY ? As far as I'm concerned, there are many other salon in PSL to go to. read more

Astoundingly bad customer service. A colorist who was pinch-hitting for my regular colorist, who was out sick with Covid, put 4n on my hair after I told her it was 6n. She couldn't verify it because the formula wasn't in the computer and the salon refused to call my regular colorist to check. When my colorist returned, she said they absolutely could have called her because she wasn't that sick and that I was correct about my color being 6n. When I asked if the salon would cover the expense of correcting the color, the owner flipped the story and told her new receptionist to tell me I wasn't a good fit for the salon because I supposedly had two confrontations with people there and used the F bomb, none of which is even remotely close to the truth. I never had a confrontation or bad word with anyone there. When I tried to explain that the owner must have confused me with another customer, the receptionist hung on me. I'm frankly stunned by the response. Run, don't walk, away from this place. read more

This is the WORST salon I have ever been to. If you are looking for someone who actually knows hair, do NOT come here. I gave this salon three tries, with three different people and every appointment was worst than the last. The first time I asked for a baylayage and layers and the girl gave me blonde highlights and just uneven hair. The second time I asked for the same thing with a tad warmer brown. Again I got highlights, butchered layering and copper colored hair. Meanwhile they double booked my appointment so the woman rushed through my hair to get to her preferred client. Then decided to try one last time and booked with a new girl for an ombré dye and a cut of at least three inches. I walked in for my appointment and was told that I was booked under highlights AGAIN and that there was no mention of a cut so she didn't have time. Was told "I can do highlights but that's it." I walked out with nothing because I'm not paying for what I didn't ask for for the THIRD time. Absolutely ridiculous service and knowledge about hair. read more

I've tried to reach out to them but no return. I got the ombré but I didn't want red roots. It looks like I have red roots and then darker and finally blonde. Very upset. As well as they must of had color left on desk my purse was purple when I left (stained) as well as my shellac nails I just did in alpine snow before I got their. They were purple when I left. Now I'm out a brand new purse, nails and have to go find someone to fix my now red roots. The girl who did my hair was sweet but I need someone who may figure my undertones... So I had a negative experience at this Salon a couple of years ago: I had an appointment, and still had to wait over an hour to get a cut and color. The only reason I was seen then was because when the stylist asked me if I minded if she did some woman's eyebrows first, I replied, maybe I should just go. There was this constant stream of talk from the stylist about how it was the scheduler's fault and asking for styling details. Did I want one step, two step, bluing, foil.... apparently, they assumed I was a cosmetologist. However, the price for a cut and color was very reasonable, so when I was looking for a new place, I gave them another chance. I got color, no cut, no styling. It was over $110. I assume the 5 minute blow dry with the unrequested curling iron constituted styling on the bill, and her asking me if I wanted a trim (I said no) constituted a cut. The color was too dark, but then it was left on too long while she cut her lurking boyfriend's hair. They blew it. read more

The worst service. They rather blame the customer for their fault than realize the customer is always right. More importantly they forgot that they provide a customer oriented service. My daughter had a hair cut for her dance and they cut too short. Instead of offering her a remedy, they told her it will grow back. When I call the owner, she hung up when I tried to explain the situation. They may cut hair well for most, it is their handling of few mishaps that speak volume of the type of service they provide. From start to finish, it was a phenomenal experience! Walk in and you're greeted with kind warm smiles which I loved. The interior design, not that it has anything to do with the service from stylists, but it was so beautiful and it just made you feel comfortable. I went in for a full Highlight and my stylist, Charlene, was amazing. She did such an incredible job I am obsessed with my hair, I can't say it enough. She understood what I wanted and gave me just that and it came out better than what I had in mind! They take great care of you all around, it's an affordable and professional-like salon. I can't say enough good about everyone in the salon. I was visiting a friend who uses this salon and my hair was fried from another salon where I lived. Joanne worked me in and gave me a great short cut to get rid of my straw! Everyone was so caring and recommended some great products to continue improving my hair. It had taken me a long time to grow out my hair and now it's a Pixie cut but sometimes we make bad decisions on what we do with our hair. Joanne made it look great and it's a new fresh beginning. I was satisfied with my cut and color, but not with my bill. I looked at their menu and saw was the charges should be, but I was charged substantially more! Worst place ever....my wife called for a price on color fix they quoted $50. She went and had it done and went to pay and they charged her $90. Then explained they tried a new product and did a$30 blow dry that she did not ask for....color was still wrong too. My wife was to nice and just paid. She came home upset and I told her just to call and let them know. So she complained and they said come on in and we will fix the color. well when she sent they told her to fix there mistake it would be $95 again. So she just left and decided to keep the messed up color. I called and probably was pretty firm and the guy on the phone said "you don't have to be rude" Great customer service huh. then the manager call me back and basically told me my wife was lying and she heard the whole thing. So after 10 minutes going back and fourth I said just give us $30 back. She went ahead and agreed and said just come up on Monday we are here till 6pm. Well guess what I left work early and got here at 5:05 pm and low and be hold they were closed. As I got out of my car people were leaving. I got to the door and it was locked. So I had to go back on Tuesday and they did follow thru with that promise. I give this place 2 years.....unless they change staff and management. GOOD LUCK read more

Got cut, color, blow dry. Stylist was Norma and she was great! Had a bad air cut at another salon but Norma was able to correct that cut. She did a great cut and gave me the body I was hoping for by great layering technique. Add to that her great personality and it was a great experience.
