Camille didn't listen to what I wanted. She didn't wash my hair and proceeded to cut my "wavy" hair dry with product in it. She didn't spend more than 5 minutes with scissors in her hand. She was highly unprofessional in every way. She repeatedly dropped combs and seemed to not know anything about cutting hair. When I tried to tell her the cut wasn't straight and that it was completely blunt and asked her to blend, she said she didn't understand. I explained in other ways to no avail. She cut off more than I asked and to fix what she did it will have to be even shorter. The best part was being overcharged by 3x the going rate when I didn't get my hair washed or styled. I wasn't even in the shop for 10 minutes. I treated so badly by the owner upon explaining. Apparently her time is more important than anyone else's and it doesn't matter what happens to her customers. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to an enemy. What a horrific experience. Especially to find out by the owner that all conversations are secretly recorded. Nothing was ever remedied. Did not get Fatima who knows she would have charge me more. Camille did my hair and I'm ok with the color she kept saying caramel well it's not it's blondish. I got my flyer with my receipt. First of all it was a shocker to say the least how much it was never ever have I paid that much for my highlights. I called back because I wanted to know how come it was so much. She got on phone and said she used more product then usual but 90 dollars more that is a shame I don't have long hair to say 90 dollars worth extra. 130 plus 90 for extra product wow and 40 for the toner. That's was 260. And she wasn't very nice on the phone when I asked why so much she hung up on me. That is not nice. Ask beforehand how much your services will be I made a mistake and trusted the salon which it was a big mistake. read more

Kelly came over asked what we wanted I said wash dry and blow out. she looked at me then my daughter and said straight right I said no curls and she had an attitude Kelly if you don't like your job please get a new one My husband and I are very very well off and you would have received a nice tip. This was not a good experience. I went in for a perm and cut and paid $150 for very few waves. The owner had me come back in and offered to reperm it. I didn't want to take her up on it as it was way too soon, but she did offer me another haircut. The haircut did pop it up a little bit, but nowhere near $150 worth of curls. I gave hundreds of perms and body waves previously before I changed careers back in the day (70s and 80s when they were popular), so I knew what they were doing. The perm didn't take equally all over my head. The gray should have been a clue as to where to check. I told the clinician that I wanted curly hair so I could just throw it back in a headband and go. When I went in for my haircut with the owner, I felt as if I was being chastised. Her employee did a lousy job and overcharged me and it's my fault? In addition, I did not like the way she spoke to her employees at all. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I was going to go in for that reperm that we talked about, but ultimately I decided I wasn't going to subject myself to her again. i have been going to Fatima even before she opened her own place, Salon Vivacious and I have to say- I'm shocked by the negative reviews. She has only been always polite, cheerful and professional. In fact--that's a huge plus for this salon--the staff are all friendly and welcoming--and non-judgemental. They offer a huge variety of service (my step mother loves having her nails done here). I went on Monday for highlights lowlights. my hair was almost chest length BLONDE. I said I wanted to keep my length. was quoted on the phone $130 full highlight lowlight + $40 for cut, style & dry. when Kelly dried my hair I said wow she cut a lot off. looked in the floor and was hardly any hair. I told her my hair was dark, she said "it's blonde. give it a few washes it will lighten up" got to the cashier she said $250. ??? the owner said "NOBODY WOULD QUOTE YOU A PRICE!" I said "well with respect I wouldn't have book if they didn't" she said "prices are on this list" I said "well I didn't have that list when I called" got home FaceTime a friend, she said "I've never seen your hair so frizzy!!" my hair is a reddish brown and broken in places to my ears! I went to the salon today. the owner in front of everyone said "I am with a client and I have one after! your hair is blonde.!" I tried to show her a picture in between her clients, she nasty said "I am not looking at anything or listening to anything you have to say!" YOU CAN WAIT! it goes on and on!!! RUDE & OVERPRICED!! I have gone myself twice. The owner Fatima is rude, impatient and dismissive. She did a good job hence me going back. I'm not looking for a friend. I warned my daughter of her horrible personality and she went. My Daughter showed a picture of herself and it was exactly what she wanted again. Fatima said she can do It, no problem. Yet, She didn't And then said it's because "it wouldn't be healthy for your hair". Then you couldn't do what I want! It's been done many times before, her hair has always been fine. Overpriced. I went there because Maria had closed her shop by Publix and moved to Salon Vivacious. After getting my color, cut, highlights, etc, I was handed a bill for $250. This is 75% higher than I pay in New Jersey, significantly more than I paid Maria when she had her shop and twice what my sister pays in Jensen Beach. This place has seen the last of me!!! read more

Robin S. Has absolutely no idea what she is talking about. Unfortunately you have people in this world that look at a picture in a magazine and want that specific look right away, regardless of hair color, cut, and texture. Fatima will take the time to explain the process while not damaging your hair. The color of her daughter's hair was beautiful after Fatima finished with it. Robin and her daughter are just THOSE type of people who will never be satisfied.... I've been going to Fatima since I moved here from NY a few years ago. I cannot say enough about the quality of work she does, the time she spends listening and asking questions in order to give you the "look" you want. I was lucky enough to find this salon! I have tried several to include master barber and have not been totally satisfied with cuts. I called Monday and Fatima had an opening within two hours. I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by friendly receptionist. Inquired if I wanted something to drink, and asked me to have seat. Within five minutes Fatima came over to get me. Nice clean shop, and everyone was most cordial and friendly. Fatima and I discussed what I wanted and reviewed a few photos I had. She also listened to my struggles finding right person in PSL. She explained what she would do, trim sides first as I wanted a close cut, then wash my hair, and finish the cut. She, along with both other gals in shop working, was friendly, pleasant, caring, and personable, in addition to being talented professional. They invited me to their anniversary celebration and I made appointment for three weeks. On my way in 30 minutes, out the door!
