I was looking for a hair stylist since I just moved back to town after being gone 29 years. The owner, Candy worked on me the first time and did a wonderful job on my hair. The second time sue to scheduling conflicts I had to be seen by the first available stylist and the put me with Shannon. I was super nervous because Candy did such a good job and I was afraid someone new might not know what I wanted. Well.....Shannon was absolutely great!!!! Candy & the team have been taking care of me for a decade! Muscatine is blessed to have a team as knowledgeable as they are. As a national educator, major brands trust Candy to train their staff. Salon Incognito is a Muscatine staple. They are a green salon, which means everything is recycled. Hair, color, you name it. They are the only salon in town that does so and all of their products are cruelty free. Every stylist is great. read more

This is a beautiful establishment in Muscatine! I made a visit the day before Thanksgiving. Not only was the receptionist really warm and inviting she was dressed professionally as well. When you walk into this salon you suddenly feel like you are in a downtown salon of a large city. I am impressed with the education of the staff. I don't usually write reviews but I'm disappointed with how my hair turned out. One of the girls cut my hair in probably 10 mins. Nothing is wrong with that if it looked like what I requested. The length is uneven and it looked even flatter. Service is mediocre. A little smile does not cost you anything. There's only one chair in the waiting room, if you call it a waiting room. I felt like I was rushed to get out of that place. I don't think they wanted my business, well I'm not coming back. read more

I love the way I feel when I walk out of this salon after a color and cut! My hair always looks fabulous and it is fun to see other clients walking out beaming also! All the stylists are dedicated to helping their clients look their best through product education after we leave (you know like shampoo, conditioners and styling products)!! They are also dedicated to helping Mother Earth by being a green circle salon and diverting waste from our landfills and waterways! I feel great about that doing a little part here in Muscatine!
