One star for their job. I had my eyebrows done by an unprofessional lady. One eyebrow is ticker than the other ones . I paid for 2 sessions that require to be done and hope she was going to fix the thin eyebrow . I rescheduled the second appointment because I had an emergency and because of that Debbie ask me to pay again the price. Paying $300 a student which doesn't know what she was supposed to do. They ask you to sign all kind of papers and pay before they do the work just for them to be covered in case if anything happened They don't care about you it is all about money. Make sure you pay after they do both sessions otherwise you have to pay again. I will never come back to this unprofessional place. Not recommend it. Very disappointed. read more

I came to Salon Jolie on a recommendation from Kathie. I had the 1st steps of my eyebrows done by a student and they weren't completed nor have I returned yet. I did go numerous times to get my hair done and absolutely loved it. Would love to return 4 eyebrow tats, eyelahes and eyeliner. This salon does great work on their customers and I do hope to eventually return to get more done or I hope to find a comparable salon nearby. I'm shocked to see any negative reviews for Debi, and the salon! I have had my eyeliner, and lips done. I loved mine so much that I gifted my mom to have lips, and eyebrows done. I just recently had my eyebrows and eyeliner done by Debi and I cannot believe how beautiful the work is. I came to her for correction on brows and eyeliner that were totally uneven and the eyeliner was a faded blue. She drew my eyebrows on first and worked with me to find the best shape that I thought fit my face. They are magnificent!!! A week later she did my top and bottom eyeliner and it is flawless, I am not exaggerating. I have had my permanent make up done for about 16 years. I've been to 5 other ladies and If I had done my homework I could have saved so much time, money and grief. I have never had such a great experience. For the first time I have never felt pain having this procedure and in the past, let me tell you, pain was an understatement. . Take it from someone who has been with several tech's in the past and the last two months. This is permanent and you need to be careful of who you choose to do the work. Debi is by far the best I have ever been to regarding artistry and technique. She is also certified with SPCP and teaches others how to do this. Do not go here if you are a person that likes to ask questions or if you are a young person. You will be talked to like you're an idiot. Do not go here to get anything done with needles, the owner may not be sanitary in her methods. I had a horrible experience and I called the owner out on it. She ended up apologizing and admitting she was wrong and starting over, but I felt so uncomfortable and she was horribly unprofessional at first. If you are getting anything done with needles or blades make sure you know what to watch for when the person is setting up for the procedure and during the procedure. read more

I've been a customer of Salon Jolie for several years and always feel welcome as I come through the door. They make their customers feel like part of the family. After moving to the area 11 years ago it took a long time to find a hairdresser I liked and then I found Phyllis - she takes care of my color and cut and it never ceases to amaze me how many compliments I get on my hair after I've gone to visit Phyllis. I recently had my eyebrows done by Debi at Salon Jolie. They are perfect! With her brush stroke technique they look so natural that people don't even notice I had them done. Then when I tell them that I got permanent make up they want to look closer because my brows don't look "drawn on" (which is how most people I've told picture permanent brows to be). I love my new eyeliner! I wake up and look like I have eyes now, not just a socket. I lost my hair and most of my eyelashes and eyebrows to Alopecia. Debbie has saved my sanity. I now just add a little shadow and I look like I've spent at least 10 minutes applying eyeliner! I've only had the first pass done but am already very pleased with the results. Wow! I am shocked by the negative reviews about Debi and Jeremy. I had my eyeliner and eyebrows done by two different "artists" who left me totally unsatisfied. In November of 2012 I was referred to Debi for corrective work on my eyeliner and eyebrows by an acquaintance who is a nurse. Debi removed the color from my botched up eyebrows and gave me the perfect arch. She covered up the red hue I was left with on my eyeliner. She was caring, gentle and meticulous! I am one happy customer. Two weeks later Jeremy applied eyelash exensions - he was attentive, gentle and explained the necessary care I would have to take to keep them looking natural. SEVERAL years ago I discovered 'Permanent Makeup'. And In a 'Plastic Surgeon's' office I had my eyes, brows, and lips done. (Having PERMANENT makeup tattooed on your FACE requires a lot of investigation before you make this commitment.) Once it goes on... it's there for a long, long time. You certainly do NOT want someone who doesn't have a great deal of knowledge, and skill working on your face. - As years wear on, so does the ink in the tattoos.- After several years.... I was needing a touch-up, as my eyeliner and brows had all but disappeared. I called to make an appointment at the plastic surgeon's office only to discover that their permanent makeup artist had retired. --- Thus started my quest in "trying" to locate a TRUE professional who could do the tattooing properly. - I called many places, looking, asking plastic Surgeon's offices for referrals, reading reviews... on and on it went. - When I called 'Salon Jolie' I mentioned to them that the lady, who worked at the plastic surgeon's office had retired, and I was having to look for another permanent makeup artist. - I quickly discovered that 'MY' retired permanent makeup artist was having "Debi"do her makeup. (Debi just happened to be the owner of Jolie's Salon.) I couldn't get a better recommendation than knowing that a plastic surgeon's permanent makeup tattoo artist was having her makeup done at this salon. -- I made an appointment, spoke at length with Debi, set an appointment to have both in brows, and eyeliner done. - Took only a couple visits and I have to say the finished product was wonderful, and actually it was better than what I had done at the plastic surgeon's office. Debi did 3D hair eyebrows. Totally loved it. Took time to make certain that the ink would match my skin tone. Minimal discomfort, and was healed in less than a week. - *Jolie's Salon isn't as professional looking as a plastic surgeon's office, and there is the chatter of the customers in the other room who are having their hair done... but overlooking that, I will say Debi's work met my extreme expectations. And YES I will recommend her, (I waited almost one year to write this review, as I wanted to see if the tattoo work would stand the test of time. Yes, you will have to have routine touch ups here and there after a few years, that is normal. My permanent makeup looks as fresh as it did a year ago. I had a horrible experience with permanent eyebrows from Debi. The shape was completely wrong and did not at all follow my own line. The corners were very harsh and dark. I've spent hundreds of dollars trying to correct, with laser removal at dermatologist and correction with a method called "soft tap", which I'd definitely recommend. Debi is amazing!! She did permanent makeup on my eyebrows and they look awesome!! Unlike other permanent makeup cosmetologists she does hair strokes when applying so that your eyebrows look natural. She spent alot of time making sure the shape and outline was perfect. I went to another permanent makeup cosmetologist and she didn't do any prepping with no numbing cream and just started drawing on my face. Debi draws out your eyebrows first with a eyebrow pencil and spends time measuring with a ruler, and shaping the eyebrows so that they are even and aligned properly. She spent around 20 plus minutes just prepping which showed me she takes her time and doesn't rush the process. She also takes her time making sure she uses the correct color of ink that goes with your hair and skin color. She will ask you if you like the shape of your eyebrows after she draws them in and if not will adjust to whatever shape you want. Even though I said I liked the shape she was still improving the look because she is a perfectionist and kept telling me she wanted my eyebrows to look good. She is also very clean and everything is sanitized and uses numbing cream. She is very professional, super sweet, accommodating, and can squeeze you in her busy schedule. She takes her time and doesn't make you feel like a number but makes you feel like family. I did much research on the web and she is on the top and has been doing this for over 20 years plus. She has over thirteen plus certifications and is very involved with the board of permanent cosmetology. She also attends permanent makeup conferences and teaches permanent makeup as well. I had my permanent eyebrows done by Jeremy and I am VERY, VERY HAPPY. It is so nice to not have to draw them on anymore. He was most pleasant and professional. He also told me if I had any issues to call him and come back in and he would fix anything. I wish I would have had it done sooner, but was told by people it was very painful.
