And I've been to many many salons in downtown. Price is reasonable. The salon itself is very clean and modern, with good lighting and lots of natural light which I find is important for color jobs. I'm surprised this place is not well known yet. Maybe it's recently opened. I had no problem booking appointments unlike some of the overrated salons in downtown. They also really take the time and listen to you and pay full attention to you. I hesitated on writing this review because I don't want them to get super busy and become hard to book, but on the other hand they really deserve to be known.

I didn't want to drive to Vancouver and so I went on online and found Splash. Nikki did a good job with my hair. She made some slight adjustment to it and she explained to me why before she started. Splash came up and we called them to see if they had any availability. Right away they were able to fit her in. I'm not saying that will always be the case, but they did squish her in between some other appointments and made it happen, which really made our day! The owner is extremely friendly and professional; their covid protocol is great and he did ask me to leave a few times because they were at capacity and I was just a guest (which I totally don't mind because I respect their adherence to the rules). Watching them interact with us and other customers, you can tell they treat everyone with the same curiosity, respect, and thoroughness. They are great at what they do, friendly, and accommodating. My girlfriend's request was met positively despite it's complexity; I have definitely gone to other salons who tell you they're busy when they don't want to deal with you. Their location is great for wheelchairs and there is tons of parking nearby.
