Maureen, the owner, speaks Spanish and was instantly preferred by my MIL. She was even so gracious to come to our home and cut/style my MIL's hair once she was physically unable to for hair appointments. I can't thank her enough for that special blessing. When a lady is used to going to the salon and really makes her feel good, there's nothing like a stylist that makes it happen at home, despite the circumstances. Outside of this extreme kindness, we have always had good experiences with Sheila and Diane. I have had cuts by Sheila - she keeps me looking young and fun :) my daughters both got their back to school cuts with Diane this year. Although it was very clear she doesn't regularly do kids hair, she made it work and they loved how they felt and looked when we left. Every time I go to socias, I enjoy seeing the patrons interact with the staff & I feel like I am welcome and part of something.

I went and got bayalage and my 1st calligraphy cut with Alex and loved it! Alex really listened to the color I wanted (unlike previous hair stylists) and finally gave me the bayalage I'd been looking for for years! I'll also never cut a regular cut after a calligraphy again! My hair is very thick so calligraphy thins it out, keeps it soft, and finally gives my hair shape. I've seen Alex twice now for color and cut and will keep going back! She is fantastic. I'm also excited to try out getting my makeup done there next week as part of their Valentine's Day special. NV the Salon is so close to home (Medford), close to the city yet don't need to deal with the hassle of parking. It is an incredibly professional salon and I can tell that owner Erica puts a lot of hard work in and ensures to check in with everyone even if she isn't styling them. I highly highly recommend!!!

I looked at a few other salons online but in the end the price and reviews for La Bella were pretty good. I went in one day after school to make my appointment and was greeted as soon as I walked in. The day of prom I arrived at the salon on time. Alicia greeted me and I just had to wait for a second as she got her chair ready. Once she was ready she asked me if I had any idea in mind. I had a few pictures but all I really knew was that I wanted a braid somewhere. She got right to it and started working her magic. I absolutely loved what she did. It looked great and it stayed in all night. I definitely recommend La Bella for up do styling, and I will probably go there to get my hair cut next time.
