I just moved to Coral Springs and desperately needed a haircut. I am very picky about people cutting my hair. So I searched around and I found this place online. Reviews were good and salon looked nice in the pics. Of course I was skeptical. The internet portrays different pictures then real life. I took a chance and went in as a walk in. I walked in and was immediately greeted. They fit me in without a problem. I was taken to the shampoo bowl more an amazing shampoo and scalp massage. Another client came in for his haircut and the employees talked to him like a dear friend. Asked about the family etc. I got into Paula's chair and she asked me what I was looking to do. I told her my hair needed shaped and at least 2 inches cut. She just went to town and as she was cutting, I saw my hair transform. It was awesome to see someone that knew how to cut layers of long hair without making it look choppy and uneven. I will say the haircut was not cheap but it was worth every penny. You pay for her talent and I will be a customer for as long as she is in business. The rest of the employees are friendly and cheerful. As I was leaving, it started pouring rain. So the receptionist gave me an umbrella to goto my car with and I pulled up to the door and she came out to retrieve the umbrella. They go out of their way for their customers. read more

After suffering at the hands of my hairstylist whom I swear must have had an epileptic seizure during my haircut the week before. This is where my story began a week before finding Paula ,after getting the worlds worst haircut from someone I had gone to for years. Rather than form a big stink I decided it was time to find someone else FAST !! In desperation called the salon and the friendly receptionist heard the panic in my voice and gave me appointment the next day just in time as I was traveling out of town for a business meeting the very next day. I have been going to Salon & Spa Paula Alexander since 2010. I would not even think of anyone else touching my hair other than Paula. This woman knows her stuff and she has always given me fantastic results. Her true artistry shows through in her expertise in color, I am constantly getting complimented on my color. In fact I do a lot of traveling. I make sure I'm back every month for Paula to do her magic. She has also done the bridal party hair for both of my daughters weddings and it was stunning both times. I also have my nails done there by Theresa, who does phenomenal work. 911 DAY AT THE SALON. I don't always get a day off and when I do, I don't have advance notice to make appointments. So this Saturday I started early on the phone to call salons closest to my home. The first call was to Salon Paula Alexander. I explained my situation, that my hair had not been cut or colored since July and I only had today to get it done. Their response, come in now, at 9am we will fit you in! not only did I get the best cut and AWESOME color, they worked in a Mani, Pedi.... This team is terrific. They all care. Paula is the hairstylist of your dreams! I have trusted her with my haircuts for nearly ten years now. Nobody--not even at high-end salons--has been able to match her work. I have moved quite a few times in the last three years, each time having to resort to trying other salons (because of a four hour distance from Paula's)...and every-time I had to go back to Paula shortly after to fix my hair. I love coming to Paula for a haircut. I'm a 26 year old guy, and I prefer salon cuts to cookie cutter barber shop styles. I'm always happy with my haircuts from Paula. She's very intuitive while she works, and my cuts always look great. I like a haircut thats flexible, so I can style it in a couple different ways. The cut has a natural flow and frames my face well, so I don't need to spend a lot of time every day to get it to sit right-- usually I use a little texture cream and I'm good to go. Love, love, love this salon! I found them several months ago and always have a great experience. From the front staff (Sade) to my amazing stylist (Paula) to my favorite shampoo gal (Betty)! I get so many compliments on my cut and color, and we all know how difficult it is to get compliments from other ladies . I tried something new and had Paula chop it into a short sexy style with "the bomb" low lights mixed with hi- lights! Short in the back, longer in the front. She is awesome!! And she is fast!! My only complaint is that Paula's is Very, very expensive! yes, I did love my hair, but definitely not worth the amount of money that I was charged!
