I had toner put on my hair and had it cut. I was terrified of it being too short and that I would loose all of my hair however he managed to make it look amazing and enabled me to keep some length. He was so nice, and made my experience warm and welcoming. I feel like he truly understood and listened to what I wanted to be done. I will be returning and cannot wait for my next visit. Had Shellac done on my nails here Saturday and think I will be making this place a regular!…read more Had a slight wait for my appointment- meant to be 9.30 but got in at 9.45 due to staff being late but was offered a lovely cuppa while i waited for them to set up. I was nervous at getting shellac on as I've had it done previously at another salon and it wasn't a great experience (my first ever Yelp i think!!) but they had a great selection of colours to choose. The beautician was pleasant and I'm really happy with the job done. They had loads of special offers showing in the window for the other services they offer and the price list was quite competative (shellac feet half price when hands are done) and I'm definitely going to try other treatments here. The salon itself was very bright, airy and clean and the staff quite professional.

I have been wanting to get my nails done here since it first opened but never got round to booking…read morein. The salon is really inviting and the decor is lovely which for some reason made me think it would be great. My friend wanted her nails doing and I said to try here as it looked very professional and there was a current offer on acrylics. She got a set of acrylics done which were said to last 3-6 weeks.... 2 days later her nails had all fallen off! She asked me to come to the salon with her to complain and try get her money back. I never expected to see what I did.... The manager accepted no responsibility at all and blamed the nail technician who wasn't in work that day.  A few minutes later a lady came in with exactly the same problem, all her nails had dropped off. The manager did not deal with the situation well at all and instead stood looking uninterested and bored. He then ended up saying you can both get refunds if you just go away. What a great way to deal with a complaint! Now for the shocking part.... During this time there were customers coming in and having their eyebrows threaded. What I couldn't believe is that not once did any of the beauticians sanitise their hands or the clients face before or after threading. Clients were being threaded with makeup on! I could not believe what I was seeing as this is the most basic piece of health and safety! Luckily I escaped this place myself but what I saw definitely opened my eyes. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want some seriously bad customer service or worse, a terrible infection.

To the rest customers she charges inflated prices, which they are Not the prices that she states on her price list. At the same time while she blows dries customers hair, she leaves the customer's blow dry half way through UNDONE, in order to blow dry another's woman hair who it happened to be from the same country as her. The salon owner; Simin was insisted to use hair straighteners while my hair was still wet. As a result she burnt my hair and she caused them to be frizzy and in an awful condition. She always run out of products to apply on hair. And she Never provides a receipt. She insists for cash on hand, that she charges different prices each time. Avoid this hair salon if you do not want your hair to end up with a bad hair cut and with burnt hair.

Friendly team and excellent service. Harriet is fast and my gel nails always look fab and last longer than any others I've had in the past. You also get offered a complimentary glass of bubbles which goes down a tear while getting your nails pampered. Gel nails cost £22 with removal of previous set included. I recently had my gels off which is £5 or free with any service, so I opted for a file and polish which cost £8 and lasted literally 10 days before it started to chip. Amazing! You can book online and I would highly recommend Harriet's service for nails. I can't comment on other beauticians as haven't experienced their services.

Conversation with Harriet is never stilted but not too much; she's normal and friendly and down to earth. She doesn't judge me for my low pain threshold and gets the job done quickly and as pain free as possible. It's excellent value for money and a lovely salon too. A very personal service, and you even get a discount in the week running up to and just after your birthday! Couldn't recommend them more!
