The worst mail polish job imaginable. My five year old has given me better pedicures. It was lumpy,…read morethere was polish all over our toes and at the same time the polish did not cover all of the nail. Doing nails this badly is truly an accomplishment.

The prices are great, super affordable, the service was great, extremely personable educators, who continually checked in with me to ensure everything was up to par. I have gone to many beauty schools, and as far as this one goes the skill set is top notch. The environment is that of any real beauty school that is in our US educational system. I found the students behavior to be quite genuine, and very positive. I would recommend Kia, the was the beautiful young stylist who did my ombre color and highlights, she was very professional and gentle when doing my waxing services. I was very impressed with her scalp massage skills as well, in the shampoo bowl... Overall this place is amazing, I would recommend it to anyone who needs pampering on a budget, who has plenty of time to spend on themselves. Overall, I had my hair colored with amazing ombre technique, additional foils placed, a color gloss treatment and eyebrow arch. I was there from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. I will be returning for additional services. This place was not crowded with rude students like other beauty schools in AA, and their prices were at least half of the other schools... Very Impressive for the high quality products used and spectacular results. The students and educators want to be sure you are satisfied through the whole process. Great color job. Wonderful waxing skills. I can't wait to go and have nails done and a facial too... Excellent experience. Great Job Kia and Educators today. You made me feel better than I have in a very long time.

I LOVE studying at Ross School of Business. Although, I may be biased, it is a great study spot…read more There is a plethora of places to sit, although, the one down side is it is a very popular spot, so it can get very crowded. The location is very convenient for other campus buildings and there is food and Starbucks available inside. I often sit in the Winter Garden because it is most accessible, but there is a lot of hidden spots if you time some time to explore.

If you are attending a conference at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, this is…read morea conveniently located hotel since it's essentially part of the Ross School and it's within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. It is a clean, quiet, modern, and green hotel that is perfect for the business traveler. There is a fitness room and lounge areas, and an awesome market on the first floor that has excellent coffee, friendly staff, and probably the best steel cut oatmeal for only $1.50! I also liked the fact that it had an easy-to-use coffee maker with Green Mountain Coffee, Tea, and Hot Chocolate, and you had free bottled water that was always replenished. The housekeeping staff was excellent. I'm refraining from giving it five stars for a few reasons. First of all, the parking was inconvenient. The hotel is next to a parking lot that charges $1.50 per hour and there didn't seem to be a way out of this (in fact, my room overlooked the top level of the parking lot, which was painful considering I couldn't park there!). So, guests were encouraged to park on the streets, but there was no loading/unloading/check-in zone in front of the hotel. The residential area is gorgeous and safe, but the only reason why I found any parking at all (sometimes in excess of two blocks away, which is tough with luggage) was because school wasn't in session yet. Fortunately, I wasn't fighting with students over parking spots. Second of all, this really is for business travelers. The beds were 3 inches smaller than a normal queen and there were no other size beds--so don't plan on bringing guests if you want a good night sleep! Otherwise, the beds are super comfy. Thirdly, the rooms were small, but not quite NYC small. It was comfortable enough, as long as you don't expect to spend much time there during the day. Finally, the fitness room could stand to have more equipment. It was very clean with a fridge full of water in environmentally friendly bottles, but it filled up fast by 6am if the hotel was at capacity. I expected more for $150/night in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but you do pay for convenience. Also, you can't beat how friendly and helpful the folks are in Michigan!

From the outset, it was clear that they were deeply invested in my success and personal growth. Thanks to the dedicated staff and inspiring environment, I rediscovered my passion for hair and beauty, which was practically lost due to the toxic environment and staff of my previous school. I learned more in the 3 months attending this school than I did in the entire year at my previous school. Additionally, I was able to learn facials here, which has inspired me to add that service to my repertoire. The teachers are very encouraging and passionate about their work, doubling as my mentors. Their approachability was evident in their willingness to go above and beyond for their students. I transferred into this school stressed and depressed from my previous school's toxic staff and environment, simply wanting to complete my 1500 hours. However, as I finished up my last few days at AMIC, I felt sad and didn't want to leave. I am thrilled to watch this institute grow, knowing that the students there will love it and become excited about their beauty careers. The owner, Nichole, is amazing and genuinely cares. Even after graduating, she continues to provide continuous support on my career journey. This place will forever hold a special place in my heart!

The girls at the front desk weren't the nicest but its okay because the nail tech I got was sooo sweet! I would put her name on here but she graduated a week after she did my nails so theres no point. But she did a great job on my fill in and I felt comfortable with her (which is rare because usually I feel like I can't fully relax getting my nails done for some reason). Its important to note that this is a school so you HAVE to have patience!! If you are the type that would die having to sit two hours to get your nails done, this isnt the place for you. Also, the ventilation is horrible and all nails are done downstairs in a dungeon lmaoo. I saw a girl get a pedicure done & they used a big bowl to soak her feet & had her sitting in one of those fold out chairs. I almost got a pedicure and was like nope because I want to be comfortable and able to relax!! Overall I would rate this place a 8/10 and I want to try getting my hair done here next so ill update this review if I do!
