Before I agreed to the job, I asked if the $1,300 price could be lowered. I was told it could not because the support cables alone cost around $500, which led me to believe the cables were part of the work. After the job was completed, I was told the cables were not included because they weren't listed in the written quote. Due to a delay, the damaged limb later fell onto my power line, and I was charged an additional $500 to remove it, bringing my total to $1,800. During the work, my fence, three flower pots, a decorative butterfly, and a pedestal were damaged. No one informed me about any of the damage. I discovered it myself after the crew left. I understand that tree work is difficult and accidents can happen. My disappointment is with the communication, the lack of accountability for the property damage, and the way my concerns were handled. Based on my experience, I will not use this company again.

The team from Edge Landscaping worked their butts off in some thick humidity and heat to get the job done. It took them two days to complete and when they were done everything was done to our complete satisfaction with the Ash tree ground down below grade and covered up, the utility lines cleared of Pecan limbs, and everything cleaned up and any ruts created by machinery properly filled in. In my opinion they went above and beyond as well - they were courteous and respectful to my elderly parents situation with my dad dealing with Alzheimer's - which makes even the slightest disruption like a bunch of people taking down trees a challenge for us to help ease his anxiety. When asked to take a break from the work for us to get my dad out of the house, they stopped and then got right back at it after we left. Plus, they worked to ensure everything was done as agreed to which took the stress off of everybody. I know we used them only for tree removal, but by the way Edge Landscaping approached our requested needs and how they worked to get everything done to our satisfaction - I would use them again for any job from trimming trees to a full landscaping make-over.
