I've been a member of Salt Health for more than three years. The benefits have far exceeded my expectations. The facilities are great and the faculty are all very intelligent, hardworking, and caring people. Because of their effort (working as a team) to achieve greatness, everything just keeps getting better. The organization operates as smooth as a Singer sewing machine. They have so much to offer, not the least of which is the quick service when I have a medical issue. Their website and member portal are a huge plus. I recently described a medical issue using the member portal. In only a few minutes I received a call from Dr. Herbst, who questioned me and diagnosed the problem; then she suggested what to do if the proposed remedy did not work. Problem solved. Other issues that normally require going to a specialist were handled in house. The Salt Health model is unlike any other medical facility I have seen. I've now had three appointments with Dr. Herbst and I'm blown away by the amount of quality time, preparation and breadth of knowledge she has. My experience at Salt has already been a huge contrast to prior medical experiences. In the past I literally have been misdiagnosed by other doctors because they have tunnel vision/canned treatment plans. Dr. Herbst's approach is completely different. She has passion to understand your complete health background, she spends time in advance preparing for your appointment and then recommends a treatment plan that is holistic and ideally non medication (although she will use medication when necessary). I also appreciate that she doesn't order a bunch of tests that you don't actually need and doesn't push supplements if they're not necessary. NWA has such a gem of a practice (how often do you get someone from the Cleveland Clinic in this area?!). I'd encourage anyone who wants to invest in their health to go do a tour of the amazing facility and meet with Dr. Herbst.
