My husband and I got married in July of 2018, and while Heather hadn't shot at our venue before, she came to our final detail meeting to scope out the location and do prework. She didn't have to do it, but it was another opportunity for us to meet in person too before the big day and go over the photos we wanted. Heather is incredibly professional and kind, yet also has the right around of direction to herd family for family photos! Getting 25 people in one photo is no small feat, but she is up to the task and makes you feel at ease. Throughout the day she was incredibly sweet, checking on us to make sure we were okay, but also giving us direction for when she found the perfect shot. Smiling hurts after a while! So when we were getting a bit tired she was flexible and made it work. She is helpful, dedicated and thoughtful which made her such a joy to work with. Not to mention, the photos turned out AMAZING. We have had so many compliments from family and friends; they are all obsessed with them! We are too, of course :) We loved working with you, Heather!

We're not from the area, and we didn't expect to be stuck in traffic for 2.5 hours longer than we had planned. :( But like I said, she was sooo gracious in offering up her personal time to do our photo shoot the next morning, and the pictures are amazing. Love how she captures the light in the photos, and she was great at putting all of us (me, husband, and our two boys - 7yo and 4.5yo) at ease. I came to Ashley with not your typical request, I was pregnant and wanted her to capture the moment I told my husband he was going to be a daddy. Ashley's excitement about my request warmed my heart. I will forever be grateful to her for not only agreeing to be part of my surprise but also keeping my big secret. I couldn't be happier with the photos Ashely captured. Fast forward to June 2018 and we had the opportunity to shoot with Ashley again. She did a mini session with us for our little girls first birthday and also documenting my second pregnancy. She is absolutely amazing, has incredible patience and really goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the pictures and her work. She even got my cousin (the ring bearer) to smile for photos and he doesnt smile for his own mother! I think her prices are very reasonable we actually got a discount recently on our maternity/newborn photos because I used her for my wedding (she offers a bellies to babies package that I highly recommend). She explained as long as I keep using her she offers discounts! I remember for my wedding she made sure that I got all of the pictures and different poses I wanted (plus some really cool ideas I didnt even think of!) and recently for our maternity shoot I printed out a bunch of pics off of Pinterest of different maternity poses I liked and she made sure to get them ALL before we were done. She made me feel so comfortable 9+ months pregnant and the pics she took turned out absolutely beautiful!! She also has a makeup artist that she hires out if you request it and she did my makeup and hair in the studio for the maternity shoot which I thought was very reasonably priced and convenient. Bottom line I highly recommend Stephanie and I cannot wait to have her take photos of our baby when she is a newborn!!

I met Audrey Christmas before last when…read moreshe generously volunteered her time photographing pets with Santa for our mutual vet, The Drake Center. All proceeds went directly to one of our local shelters that does amazing work helping pets find homes. She held a drawing for families who brought their pets in for a full photo session and our family was one of the lucky winners. We had our full family (two leggeds and four leggeds) photographed with her a few months later and it was truly an amazing experience. Audrey's professionalism and talent are beyond compare, but what really made her stand out in my mind was her ability to "read" our family and capture us just as we are. An example of this is our youngest daughter, who can tend to be a stinker when she's nervous or out of her element. Audrey was completely patient with her and waited until she was able to relax enough to be photographed. We weren't rushed in any way - she took her time and got some amazing shots of our girls, our pets and our whole family.
