We were looking for something used for him because I already have a bike and hate going alone. We have been to The Bike Rack before and knew that it had a selection of new bikes which was not exactly what we were looking for. It was the last stop at the end of our long day and we were in the neighborhood and thought we would just check it out. Our salesman, Brian, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He could tell right away that we weren't really in the market for a high-end bike, but continued to help us despite the fact that we were probably going to just look around and head home. He answered our questions and we cracked jokes back and forth. He then suggested that my boyfriend take out one of the bikes, just to get a feel for it. He found the right size and tried out a couple before finding one that was still way nicer than what we going to buy, but one of the more modestly priced bikes in the store. My boyfriend talked about how awesome it was when he took it out and seemed to be extremely happy with the way it rode. I then had to see for myself. If it was that awesome, I wanted to try it out. Brian helped me find the right size bike and put me on a Trek 7.3. I took it out down the sidewalk and was really really impressed. The bike really spoke for itself. It was a million times better than my rusty old high school bike I had at home. We went out down the side walk together and came back to the store with giant smiles on our faces. We left yesterday with two Trek 7.2 bikes. It was completely unexpected but so worth the money. We would have probably not purchased those two bikes without the wonderful service from Brian. He really did a great job without pressuring us at all. If anything, he made us excited to get out there. We have already been out riding twice and love our bikes. It was an awesome purchase and we are very happy.

He has been excellent with all tuneups and fixes, to derailers, sprockets and tires. He is reasonably priced also. My latest trike change that he did for me was to take my 2013 Terratrike rambler, get it powder coated, tuned up, new chain, and added a Bafang 750 Watt motor. It is beautiful now!

My bicycle was hit by a car and the wheel and frame were bent and for a reasonable price he fixed it with in a week. I tried him again for a flat on my wife's bike and it was fixed it right away which made my wife happy. It a nice little bike shop and the bike accessories (not a wide variety) were not over price. Re-Cycle also has a friendly shop dog made my reviews from 4 to a 5 star. Nice little neighborhood bike shop that I would recommend.

For service, sometimes the mechanics seem to be rushed and then the quality suffers. Took them awhile to learn how to adjust the chain tension on a Gazelle Arroyo C7 but they've got it figured out now.
