I was very worried about my recovery since I had to travel alone until I found swan recovery home. I came from California to have an extended tummy tuck an arm lift and excessive chest skin removal and had to travel by myself, which worried me about being able to take care of my wounds while I was recovering and also my follow-up appointments. There are many different recovery homes here in Guadalajara. However, I went with swan recovery home not only because of the great reviews, that they are licensed with a board certified doctor on call, but seeing how much effort and kindness is put into keeping their patients comfortable and happy, I could just tell it was the right place for me. Marcela is great with communication. As soon as I message her I received a reply and a great quote on a room with its own bathroom also included all meals driving to doctor's appointments and pick up and drop off from the airport. 24-hour nurse care my own mini split air conditioner, TV, Wi-Fi every amenity you would need and then some. The moment I arrived at the house I felt safe, comfortable and and the overwhelming feeling of being cared for a lot of places that are run say 24 hours. But here everything rang like clockwork. I got my medicine given to me exactly on time on the hour. Every time I needed it I was my vitals were checked several times a day even at night to make sure I was healing properly. Lymphatic massages was included to help me drain All the fluid buildup from the surgery. They did a great job especially since I had complications with blood clots they were able to get him out without causing me any pain and took their time to make sure I drained properly. Samantha is great at working all the fluid build up without causing any discomfort and keeps you laughing the whole time with her great attitude. I never felt rushed or as if I was an inconvenience. All medical supplies for my wound care were included which was a lot since I'm a pretty big guy and had over 7 incisions cross my entire body that needed to be cleaned and dressed three to four times a day. They keep meticulous records of all your vitals and pass on any information to the next nurse. One night at around 10:00 p.m. The nurse took my temperature and it was only 100.5° but she quickly took action called Marcela and  She called my doctor to coordinate a plan to bring my fever down, I was given medicine right away and checked on every 15 minutes to monitor my temperature within 3 hours. My temperature head gone back down to 98.6 and stayed at that temperature the next 3 days without any issue. They also took me to get blood work done to make sure there wasn't an infection and to check my hemoglobin levels. I don't know if there's any place in the United States that I would get such rapid care where I don't have to lift a finger or stress out about who to call what I should start taking. They handled every single step of my recovery. They made sure I drank enough water, took my medicine on time and that I got plenty of exercise to help the healing process. The meals were amazing. Every single nurse there has their own personality and makes you feel like you're at home being cared for by family. They are all professional and really know how to take care of someone who's had extensive surgeries done. So if you're lucky enough to stay here you'll enjoy the same safety, care hospitality that I did. I'm very big on customer service working in it most of my life and I have found very few places that actually surpass my expectations and this is one of them. I can't find a single thing negative to say about it. They made the hardest time away from my family much better because of how they took care of me Not only physically but emotionally they we're there to listen which is some of the best medicine there is.

First of all, When I got in, "security" staff didn't know where should I go and let me tell you the hospital is a labyrinth. That's OK, it's an old building. What is unforgivable is that there was no physician or doctor available. Not even at urgent care. The one who took "care" of me was an intern. Then X ray staff was not available. It took about 2 hours for me to get an x ray. Then wait about 50 min more to get an actual doctor. And for paying, the process was slow as hell. I decided to go there because in a previous incident, the experience was fairly well. They had a doctor who spoke English and x ray was relatively fast. Now this place should be your last option!!

In that time, my bed sheets were never changed. My room was not cleaned. My bath towel was not changed. I was never provided breakfast. The 3 nights I did have dinner there, I was served chicken all 3 nights in a row. Less than favorable. They do not have a licensed nurse on staff whatsoever. The "nurse" they say they have, was almost always the cook. Emma became hostile and rude when I told her I was leaving. I am a native Spanish speaker. Casa Galicia may be a less expensive option. Remember, you get what you pay for. I have since moved to a new recovery home which is totally different from this place. It is nothing compared to the service of Casa Galicia. 0 out of 10 stars. It was a big disappointment and waste of time!! Do not stay here.

I'm 80 and lived from California to Maine and have never been to a better managed dental practice. Nor to a better equipped one. Always the latest equipment and up to the minute dental procedures. The office has 3 or 4 specialists so they are able to deal with any dental need. The staff all speak English/communication is no problem. They can help with hotels,airport pickup and recommendations in Guadalajara. Which i think is one of the nicest cities in Mexico. Great way to have a wonderful few days in a beautiful city get your dental needs done on your schedule. THEY DO NOT TRY TO UPSELL YOU LIKE SO MANY CORPORATE PRACTICES DO.
