This is one of the BEST places to go for quality, affordable bath bombs. I've loved them for years. I'm a bit obsessed with their variety. They have an incredible, HUGE range of scents, from all sorts of flowers (jasmine, lavender, gardenia, etc.), to specific purposes (sleep, sinus relief, etc.), and all sorts of things you wouldn't think of but will love (my favorites include Manitou Mud, Garden of the Gods, Yoga Sunrise and Egyptian Dragon). Not only are they very reasonably priced (which both my wallet and my love of baths appreciates), but on top of that, they always have great deals when you buy several at once. Plus, they have a TON of other cool body care stuff, including the ability to make your own custom scents for a wide variety of products, like lotions and massage oils. They have a wide variety of bases to use for them, based on your skin's needs. I made one ages ago with jojoba oil ajd a blend of scents, including their uplifting Yoga Sunrise scent. It lasted ages and still smells amazing. It's refreshing to have such unapologetically luxurious items at such delightfully affordable prices. They have so many useful little extra items there too -- apart from a huge bag of bath bombs (yay!) I also just got this really cool face cloth that can remove ANY type of makeup (yep, even hard-to-remove magnetic eyeliner! I tested it out the last time I used magnetic lashes), just by wetting it. I love to travel, but I don't love doing so with leaky bottles of makeup remover, or towelettes that can't quite get off my eye makeup. I am SO stoked to have an alternative now! It works better than my liquid makeup remover!! And, it's super soft and gentle on my skin, which is great, because I can be really sensitive. They always have such cool finds at this store! Patchouli bath bombs are the best. I visit this location maybe three times a year. The Manitou Mud soap, which obviously is a big seller, is never available and sold out whenever I go. I have tried it once and liked it. I just cannot get it from the retail store. It's disappointing. Maybe next time. 4th time to acquire it may be a charm! But the patchouli soap is goodly. I like patchouli. The location is great. The products are outstanding. The service is good and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I am on their email list. What a nice shop to stumble upon in manitou! A friend I was with wanted to check it out as she really likes their other location up north. The staff there were pleasant and knowledgeable. We got the kids some bath bombs that were Pokémon themed. They were a bug hit! Had a toy in the middle and the bath bomb was nice and relaxing and moisturizing. It left the water a brown poopy color but hey! Haha the prices here are decent too and will be happy to stop by again! read more

I live in Texas so I ordered online. Can I just say WOW!! It was shipped the same day and I received my order a few days later. Literally placed order on 11/17 and received my product today 11/19!!! And order is perfect and exactly accurate and they even threw in a little extra goodie! The handwritten thank you on the order form shows they go the extra mile. BEWARE VETERANS!!! I loved this place before, their bath/shower bombs are amazing so I was happy to go back today since I live in Texas. Upon arrival me and my mother were greeted, then the employee's friend came in and they started to talk and we weren't really helped after that. My mom picked out some bath milk and I picked out 5 shower bombs. My mom was checking out first, my husband is actively in the service, and my dad is an army veteran with a disabled VA identification card. My mom asked if they gave a military discount, the employee said yes. My mom was getting out my dads ID card and I brought my spouse id out and set it on the counter. The employee gave my mom the discount (I'm assuming with my card) and continued to ask for my moms ID rudely saying I need to see yours, I can't use hers on this purchase. Once my mom found my dads ID card, she had her drivers license right beside it to compare last names (which works at most places) the employee proceeded to say something along the lines of normally we have to have the persons military ID card that is actually making the purchase, but I will honor it this time. Then condescendingly asked "do you understand?". Once the employee said that, I went back to where the shower bombs were and dropped them in the basket. I will not make a purchase from a company against military and our veterans. I guess 9 years and a replacement knee isn't enough to deserve even a 10% discount. Normally, people say thank you for your service, instead of being rude and making it sound like my father didn't deserve it. I love the concept, the scents, and the appearance of the store. I have bought bath bombs and lip products that we like. Great place to buy a small gift. The only reason I didn't give more stars is they have these new shower bombs, and they were about $2 each, so I bought several for stocking stuffers and three for myself. The idea is you put in on your shower floor and enjoy the aroma, so I thought a eucalyptus mint shower would be great in winter and reminiscent of a steam bath I have been to. It was disappointing that the shower bomb, in any scent, really could not be smelled while taking a shower. It dissolved pretty quickly and smelled great if you out your nose loose to it, but while taking a shower we never smelled any of them. Other products are peobsbyl good but this one was a bomb! read more

I LOVE the Smitten fragrance. I had my 3 granddaughters over one summer day and they ran thru the sprinkler with their summer clothes on. I was going to throw their clothes in the dryer and had one put on my robe and the other two put on Grandpa's Tshirts. I overheard them talking, and the granddaughter with my robe on said, "This smells like Grandma!" They all leaned in for a sniff and said "Smells so good!" Best store ever! All of the products are organic and made in small batches that ensure the highest quality in lotions, creams, fun bath stuff and more. They are a little more expensive than Bath and Body type stores but the products are much better so it's definatly worth it. Great for gifts, my favorite scent is starfish and mango. I love the bath and body type shops but Salus is by far the best!! If you have sensitive skin, or eczema this is your store! My daughter and I both have eczema and I have tried dozens of different creams, salves and lotions both over the counter and prescription. The silky shea lotion (I like the Starfruit and Mango scent) is the best lotion for my eczema; I can't believe the difference it has made after the first application. It is by far my favorite store in Manitou. We were there for the Emily Crawford coffin races which was amazingly fun to watch. We stayed at the Manitou Inn Bed and Breakfast with some friends and they use Salus lotions, shampoo and conditioners at the Inn. It is a little pricey but you really get what you pay for. They make everything in small batches using only organic ingredients. I don't mind paying a little extra for a truly superb product instead of paying for hugh ad campaigns like other similar stores. My daughter will only use the mint soap bar, we have tried others but nothing compares. The bath fizzies are the best! I haven't ordered online yet but I plan to for stocking stuffers. Plus I love the family feel of the small shop instead of the hugh chain stores. I can't recommend Salus enough, you have to try it to believe it! read more
