I went to Natalie with shoulder-length, healthy, almost entirely virgin hair that I had spent a…read morelong time growing out from a buzz cut. I asked for a cinnamon-copper brown, relatively close to my natural brown. I left with an extremely dark, unnatural burgundy-red-almost purple color that is not remotely close to the color I showed her. During the service, Natalie used three tubes of Kenra permanent copper color with 20vol developer and processed my hair for approximately 30 minutes. After seeing the result, she told me she did not know how it had happened. That explanation has been extremely difficult for me to accept. I showed the products/formula used on my hair to my longtime stylist in Miami, and she immediately identified the formulation as the issue. This color did not simply appear on my head for no reason. Products were selected, a formula was created, and that formula was applied to my virgin hair with confidence. Those decisions produced the result I am now living with. Natalie did not charge me for the original service and offered to correct it. But, her proposed solution was a bleach wash, followed by another gloss/toner and K18 treatment. In other words, after taking my healthy virgin hair from a natural brown to an unwanted dark burgundy-red, the proposed solution involved additional chemical processing to get me back toward where I started. This course of action was also condemned by my stylist in Miami, who asked- why damage my hair more instead of trying to fade the depth of the ruined color by using a color remover? At that point, I no longer had ANY confidence in her ability to formulate or correct my color, and I decided to take the correction out of her hands. I am now left with RED/PURPLE/BLACKISH unnatural-looking hair that I did not ask for and will have to spend significant money, time, and additional processing to correct. I also have to worry about what correcting it will do to the health and texture of hair that was completely healthy before this appointment. Mistakes happen. Hair color can behave unexpectedly. But there is a difference between an imperfect result and taking nearly virgin hair that was already close to the requested color and producing something dramatically darker, redder, and further from the goal. I entrusted Natalie with hair I had spent years growing back. I DEEPLY REGRET DOING SO. DO NOT GO TO NATALIE. SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING.

The polish didn't fully cover my nails, and the sides were left bare. It honestly looks like my nails have already grown out for a month, even though my husband and I had the appointment on July 3 at 11:00 PM. My husband also got a haircut. He simply asked for it to be cut short, and that's exactly what he received, so he was satisfied with his haircut. As for my haircut, I requested a pixie cut, but it ended up looking much more like a bowl cut. I also asked for my bangs to be cut diagonally, but they were uneven, as shown in the photos. I even asked if they could be made a little shorter, but I still wasn't happy with either the cut itself or the way it was styled. Overall, I expected a much better result for the amount we paid.
