I was needing an MRI which is fine but I have now waited another week no call on MRI so I call my insurance and they have not heard from OCI at all, call the nurse she said she has not submitted paperwork yet and it would be another week for her to submit paperwork. Then another week or two before I would be in for the MRI. I am not ok waiting over a month to get help. I have removed myself as a patient and will go elsewhere to seek help. Just warning others dont waste your time when you are in pain and needing help quickly

I'll be honest, it was a real adjustment moving from the hospital environment, to one that I have never experienced, so there were some bumps in the road - for the family to learn how to communicate best with the staff - and the staff to get to know us and my moms needs, but we are fortunate enough be able to be there often, and advocate for her. I have found the nursing and CNA staff to be compassionate, qualified, professionals overall. When I have felt that we had issues I didn't know how to resolve, the Administration was very willing to help us navigate the process and make any changes, or accommodations that they were able to. The Case Manager, the Physical Therapy staff, the nutritionists - seriously, everyone from the janitorial staff to the Administrator made me feel like my mother was safe, cared about, and physically rehabilitated to the best of her abilities. It absolutely helps the more the family can be involved to help their loved one get acclimated, and build the relationships with staff to help make the stay as productive and pleasant as possible under these circumstances. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in her care during her stay. You are just too many to name individually, but you know that I know who you are.

There is no way to contact the parent company. I feel that they are just about the profit they can make and they care less for the residents. Some of the staff trys some do not. I would not put my dog in the rehab section. A close relative had to go there because it was the…read moreonly Medicare accepting place that could be found for rehab. He had little to no rehab, left in a chair all day. He left the hospital with a small bedsore and was there because of a broken neck. This facility allowed the sore to penetrate his body until organs could be seen and he died from the sepsis after being able to feed himself in the hospital. This dump has now filed for bankruptcy and I can see why. We moved him to a different facility where he died a week later in hospice care. This place is HORRIBLE.
