He was willing to dispense terse bits of advice but certainly showed no enthusiasm and was very hands-off: for instance, he did not go to the trouble to prepare the shoes for us to try on by untucking and loosening the laces. When I go into a store I don't like to feel I'm being "tolerated" and as a result this is the first and last time I/we will be darkening the door of Chestnut Hill Sports. I've always been impressed with their organization, especially considering how much they have to rely on remote refs and coordinators and a staggering number of venues. It was pretty well organized besides a few mix-ups in the schedule. The girl from PSSC that was there every week played decent music while we were playing which was nice. I'm just in a rec league because volleyball isn't really my sport, but I had a great time getting to know the people on my team, and getting better at volleyball. There were a few teams that seemed like they should be on the intermediate level, but everyone was friendly and I guess if they don't want to play in a more competitive league, who am I to judge?

The refs are young(hs age) for the younger soccer games but they seemed knowledgeable. The indoor fields are turf and the large field is split into 2smaller fields for games where the teams play literally wall to wall - def a bit different but a great opportunity for you to continue playing. There are also outdoor fields to be used we just were not signed up for those. Also has adult soccer and lacrosse. There are places to stand to watch the games with a little obstruction but it's not terrible. Very easy to get to but parking is crazy, very small lot and extremely busy. But I would recommend for anyone adults or kids
