So I called the spa, talked to Debbie the owner, who then took down my info TWICE and said she would have her employee contact me ASAP.... one week later, still no word from anyone at the spa. I asked to be reimbursed from Living Social fearing that their unorganized business would be difficult to contact in the future to fully redeem my purchase.

She put 30 volume on my hair and only processed for 15 minutes.. it was and still is yellow. At the time when she cut my hair on the first appointment we discussed how to do it for when I came back to have it foiled.. I mean the color I wanted white.. to match my gray. That's not what I got. I took a picture of it and I notified her the next day, and she had the gall to say it was something that I did. Like I washed my hair in bad water or I used Pomade or some sort of product to do that..!! Which neither one of those things I had done at all.. so she was also supposed to cut it barely did anything to it at all.. didn't even frame it around my face, I had to recut my hair after I got home.. I am an ex hairdresser and I just cannot believe the way she wouldn't even apologize. She charged me $100 for this.!!?? So when I asked my money back all I got back was $40. So I have to walk around now with this yellow crap in my hair until it can be cut out..I alread had a consultation done buy a different hairdresser. And it would be expensive and more damaging to my hair to get it fixed. And the other thing that she did was pulled it through all the way to the ends, which it was only supposed to have done my roots. She flat-out denies it. Looked right at me and lied to my face and said she didn't do it when it's clearly you can see that's what she did..!!! I mean I'm not dumb and I'm not blind you can see it's pulled from one end to the other.. I do not recommend this lady at all.. she wouldn't even admit what she did or even say she was sorry.. she did suggest Maybe letting me.. let her try to do something more to it but.. not if you're going to sit right there and look at me and lie to my face! Like you did.. I'm not going to trust you at all to do anything more with my hair

I had a ton of questions and they answered every single one, even the crazy ones. I also sent emails to the owner Faren over the next couple weeks leading up to my appointment. Again I received nothing but great customer service. At my appointment I was introduced to my hair stylist Taylor who was so caring, knowledgeable and willing to put up with me. I've found my new home and I hope others will give them a try too, they won't be sorry for choosing Elisen Salon and Spa, I can promise you that! Their prices are very reasonable and they often have great offers on "Groupon" too. Today I had my 3rd appointment at Elisen and the owner Faren was taking Espresso orders ON THE HOUSE!!!
