The Port Credit location seems to have daily specials on their drinks in a large size. Brown Sugar Latte: Sunday's special is the brown sugar latte. It was a bit too sweet for my liking. There was too much tapioca pearls and ended up being less of the actual drink itself. Inside, there's casual seating with some board games and a deck of cards. It's a bit of a limited selection but still better than none. Overall, it was an okay experience - wasn't bad but nothing extraordinary, would give a 3.5/5 but decided to round up.

Parking is free after 9 p.m. on Fridays. Upon entering, there's some card games on a shelf, high-top tables by the wall with a mural, and regular tables on the opposite wall. They have a large menu with milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies and slushies, specialty drinks, and some snacks. It's too bad egg waffles with ice cream weren't available when we went. We all enjoyed our drinks and finished them really quickly. Just a note that I had gotten the matcha Oreo smoothie, but I couldn't really taste the matcha in the matcha Oreo smoothie. I could definitely taste the Oreos, though.

What made the experience even more memorable was the service. Our server was one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and attentive people we've ever encountered. They took the time to answer questions, offer recommendations, and genuinely made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our meal.

Last night my cousin (not a raw vegan) and I dined there. She enjoyed this beet juice and loved it so much that took two more juices home. I enjoyed their turmeric latte and fresh ginger/lemon teas. My cousin and I shared their falafel and cauliflower wraps and loved it. My cousin truly enjoyed their miso soup. I took a platter of all their desserts to share with my family tonight at my cousins birthday. I also took their two breads and kale chips home and am enjoying them. If you are a raw vegan you don't need any convincing. If you are not and have a lot of misconceptions about how raw vegan food looks like or tastes like I guarantee you, you will not be disappointed.

A great new addition to the area!…read more The smoothies are fairly priced in this economy at 6.99 for a regular. Which was also a fair size cup. There are so many different varieties, there's defs something for everyone. I also appreciate how all the ingredients are listed for each smoothie and wrap/panini. No room for questions, which I love lol. Currently there's a special going on where you can get a regular size smoothie and any wrap/panini for 11.99. I decided to do this since I needed a breakfast and lunch. I opted for the Kale Mango Pineapple smoothie. It was delicious! I also added in some chia seeds which were pretty hefty at $1.99 but I wanted the added protein. The person working (possibly the owner?) even offered to put a bit of spinach in, which I accepted. How nice! The fruits masked the kaley-spinachy taste nicely. The wrap was a good size for me. I only ate half and was satisfied for hours. But a heavy eater or someone who is super hungry might find it on the smaller side. Again, I think it's fair for the price point and for how much goes inside the wrap. It was jam packed with veggies and cheese. She even added in some spicy mayo for me. The wrap was delicious and very flavourful. And again, not pinch on any of the ingredients. Service was friendly and efficient and very helpful. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer! Wishing this new business all the success!

From what I can tell, it's a real farmer's market selling produce from actual farms. It has a nice vibe. However, it's not affordable in any way. Ears of corn were $1ea, Beefsteak Tomatoes were $2ea. Maybe worth it to get some special ingredients, but not for your regular week's haul. It does have a nice vibe with live music. The rest of the parking is open as usual, so there's free parking.

Each year I come here (and I've been visiting since it first started, around 2011 or so), there's always something new and unique to see. The market is held in the parking lot right next door to the LCBO (at Elmwood and Lakeshore), and consists of a good 20 or so vendors. It may not be as big as the City Centre Farmers' Market, but there's always plenty of selection. My favorite things are the Artisan's Row section (where local artists and craftsmen offer their works at some really good prices), the La Villa Bakery tent where you can buy freshly-made pastries (don't tell Johnny that I've pigged out on the egg croissants more than once) and the local hot dog vendor. Not to mention that there's usually live entertainment, workshops and plenty of unique things like artisan jams, soap, homemade condiments and much more. It's one of my favorite places to visit in the village during the summer for many reasons, not the least of which being that I know a lot of the people who work with the Port Credit BIA and enjoy catching up with them. Ellen and the team always do a great job, and the market has proven to be a sort of unofficial weekly meeting place for people all throughout the village. If you haven't checked it out yet, you're doing yourself a disservice. Come check it out one of these weekends (up until the beginning of October). I guarantee you'll find something you like. Highly recommended.
