We hadn't had a family photo taken in quite some time, so spur of the moment I tried to find a photographer for a Charleston photo shoot. The minute I saw Melissa's examples on her website, I knew she was the one I wanted to use. Due to my son's military schedule, we had to do some juggling to find a date and time that worked, but she was super accommodating. We wanted a "Charleston" backdrop, so we met at White Point gardens, took many photos there, as well as throughout downtown Charleston, and along the seawall at the battery. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Belisia. We booked her for an in-home newborn…read morephotoshoot with our two week old and were so fortunate to be able to get on the schedule quickly (babies don't keep, y'all!). Belisia provided us with great guidance that facilitated a natural photoshoot - which can be extra challenging for overtired new parents unaccustomed to modeling - plus a baby and excitable pup! We felt so comfortable with her help and that is truly reflected in the finished photo product. I wanted to send out newborn announcements as quickly as possible; Belisia went above and beyond to turn around edits on a few photos quickly so I was able to promptly get those in the mail.
