The room was large with a great bathroom with separate toilet. The restaurant was very good, especially the breakfast. Breakfast included freshly prepared eggs and a very good selection of teas. Great restaurants are nearby too, just ask reception. The city is a 5 minute walk away. There is shopping, including a Christmas market before Christmas, and a very nice movie theater. The main reason to love this hotel is the Wellness Spa and Pool area. Totally relaxing and the sauna is adults only. I think this is a perfect weekend getaway for a couple.

The 4 stats of the hotel are well deserved, one of the best 4 stars in years ( and I live like 300 days a year in hotels ) Free wifi with 6Mbps! The breakfast is tasteful and offers quality bread and meat. The evening restaurant was fully packed the two days I dinned there and rightfully so. Good quality food for a decent price. I will return here. A small deduction cause the minibar was not cooled.

After some time they told us they were able to work something out. DECOR The decor is definitely 'old world style'. SECURITY The key/lock system is old school...big key on a big/heavy key chain, which both locks and unlocks the door....you mush have the big/heavy key on you at all times...unlike using a more modern card/key. FOOD The food was 'okay'. Definitely of a more German/Austrian flavor...than American. The meal we were served the first night was: salad, roast turkey, boiled carrots/broccoli, with a great tasting apricot dumpling dessert.
