Very disappointed in how things were handled. I've tried to get into the student salon to get my hair trimmed 3 times, and all 3 times my appointment was cancelled due to illness, or whatever reason. I appreciate that they tried to offer me a discount to make up for the missed appointment(s), but three strikes and you're out! I wanted to leave this review as a lesson to the students that you have to show up for your clients! Illness is an exception, but I didn't have to give you a second chance...I didn't have to give you a third chance... For the instructors, you really need to come up with a back-up solution. I know that it's a small school, but the service I was requesting was very simple. If an instructor needed to be there anyway, they could've stepped up to the plate on this one. It would've taken 30 minutes - tops! Maybe getting a trim was too simple of a service and that's why I kept getting passed over. If that's true, then you need to get over yourselves, and realize decisions like that will affect your bottom line. read more

Do not go to this school if you are older. They are liars. There is so much favoritism going on. To start, when I went there to enroll, I was never told they were not accredited. I informed them that I wasn't sure if I could do it, because I was my Mothers caregiver and I also had a bad back. Then was told that if something should happen where I couldn't finish, as long as my kit was paid for, I wouldn't have to pay for the rest. So, after going for over 700 hours there, I was kicked out by one of the instructors that had an issue because I was older, and not allowed to go back. I was having a bathroom issues that day, and couldn't work on a client that had came in, it would not have been fair to the client, 2 hours to go, none if the other students had clients, I was actually doing my work, there were 2 sleeping on the clock, 2 just sitting on their phones, 2 just talking, and she picked on me to take this client. When I told her I couldn't because of running to the rest room every 5-10 minutes. She told me to pack my things and leave if I couldn't work on a client. Then I received a subpoena on my door that they were going to sue me for the balance. I called the attorney to ask him to change the date, because I was not even going to be in town for the holidays, he refused. I then found out I possibly had a serious illness. I went to Sami Halaseh and told him I was going through other medical issues that I really didn't need the stress of this hearing. He told me not to worry, he would call the attorney and take care if it. I called the attorney several times, sent emails to him, to make sure Sami called him. Never got a response. I called the school to talk to the new director and she was a total witch to me. Then I got a judgment in the mail. They are back stabbers. Not to mention, they also talk bad about some of the clients that come in there. read more

I came in on a Saturday March 24th , I had never been here before called a head and made an appointment for a perm. My stylist was Autumn she did an amazing job on my hair and kept me talking , laughing and never made me feel like I was alone , when you sit down in a chair and know its going to be a long day its nice to have a friendly face and someone who you can have great conversation with. I haven't had a perm in over 20 years I couldn't be more happier with the way it turned out. Thank you Autumn Good Luck in your career you will go far.
