My first visit to this chain and I was not disappointed. One of the few places open on Sunday, we had a lunch of the Italian salad and the orchard chicken salad. The raspberry vinaigrette was recommended for the orchard salad and it was a perfect compliment. The restaurant was clean, brightly lit, and covered with fun wall art. Service was good. I had the California veggie made in a wrap. It tasted good, but there were no mushrooms or alpha sprouts on the wrap. These were listed in the toppings. I still enjoyed it. However my husband got the mesquite turkey sub and it was very skimpy. Hardly any turkey. Mostly just bbq sauce on a bun . For the price , it was disappointing. Looking for someplace to stop and eat while making our way home from Houston. Wife found a listing on the net for this place, sounded good, so decided to give it a try, best choice of the whole trip, my wife still craves it, four months later. I'd try to duplicate it if a could but I'm afraid I won't do it justice. Hope they're still there if we ever make a trip to the area again. There was nothing special about the sandwich I got here. It was just meat, cheese, few pickles, and bread. No lettuce tomatoes or any toppings really. With that said, I was just driving through town and it was better than getting fast food, so it did the job. read more

I visited at 6:10 on a Monday evening to have a salad. It took longer than expected to place the order, but there might have been something going on that I wasn't aware of. Despite the dining room being nearly empty, an unreasonable number of tables were dirty. There were an overwhelming number of flies, so much so that I should have left. The staff was friendly, but the salad was underwhelming. To be honest, I expected something better. I could have gotten the same thing from Walmart's pre-made deli area for a lower cost. While I can't tell anyone else not to eat here, it's not a place I personally will return to. read more

Read reviews and saw they were mixed. Sat in car watching how busy they got. Saw enough people going in and out so I decided to try it. The staff was friendly. Walked in and there was a fair amount of people. Glad I did go in when I did because while I was waiting for my sammich, about a dozen more people came in. I had the Italian, regular size. It was quickly made. I didn't realize it was going to be a warm sammich but I think that is what put it over the edge of deliciousness. Sammich alone was just under $10. It was good and flavorful. Found this while traveling. Great selection of sandwiches. I had the Bbq Mac and cheese melt with bacon. It was very tasty and good. Staff very friendly. Our table had not been cleaned yet, but it was during lunch rush. Would visit again when traveling through here again. Better than normal chain restaurant. read more

TRIPLE TO LEFT TO DRIVE IN A RUN! Four words: IN. CRE. DI. BLE!!! Man, this place is blowing up! There are like 10,000 items from which to choose, and it's all made fresh right in front of you. The staff is friendly and engaging (unlike some similar sub shops which will remain unnamed), and the prices are reasonable. I had the West Coast Club which was KILLER good. It was fresh and had tons of flavor. I also had the bacon mac-n-cheese which was insanely good (flavortown earthquake). I've been to the other one in Martin, and it's great as well. Made my first and last visit to Sammie's today. Although the reviews have been great, I was shocked to walk in and not a single employee was masked. No plexiglass either. I am not sure what local Covid code is but this was shocking. Even the customers were masked! Obviously the owner does not care about the health of his customers OR their employees. We are new to the area and love subs! This is the local place so we checked it out. They definitely have some great sub options and even have limited time options. They have all different meat and vegetarian options. They even have a more gluten free option if you don't want the bread. My only complaint is I wish they had cold subs. I am not a fan of hot subs and that is all they offer however they can make them cold. The only other thing is we ordered an order of potato skins and only got 3 in the container. I am not sure if this was normal but for the price, it seemed like it was not near enough. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful! I highly recommended checking out the subs here! read more

Excellent! Gyro was hot and fresh and the Italian was delicious! Try the peach tea to drink. Very tasty! The staff was very friendly and even though they are located two hours away, we may need to make a road trip very soon. They even have a wide selection of pickles for your sandwich. I ordered the Reuben and had a steakhouse spud on the side. I am a bit picky about my Reuben sandwiches, but this one was one of the best. Lots of corned beef, kraut, cheese, and great sauce. The spud was also amazing. Sammies is super clean, great atmosphere, and the menu is amazing. Both my coworkers loved their sandwiches as well. I can't wait to go back and try another option, but I am trying the Lock Stock and Barrel challenge there tomorrow. read more
