I absolutely love Sam's Club. Yes, you have to pay for a membership, but it's honestly worth it. For starters, GAS. Sam's Club gas is about $1.80 (rounding up). For example, getting gas on the Army base, where everything is tax free, gas is still $2.10 (rounding up). So driving a large SUV, and having motorcycles that all require 91 (premium) gas, the savings in gas alone is worth the membership. Now then, I'm a single guy. No wife no kids etc. and, shockingly, I haven't the slightest clue how to cook. I still gotta eat though right? Well, at Sam's, in the back, they have a bakery, butchers and kitchen etc. So they make FRESH, a dish like chicken Alfredo pasta. Or Mac and cheese, or whatever .... now because it's a bulk buy kinda place, the make these meals for a "family". Most dishes are usually set up to feed 4-5. So I buy these freshly made meals, I go home, and I divide them up into individual glass, oven safe containers (that I also bought at Sam's lol), and in the fridge they go. Each night after work, I grab one, pop it in the oven, and viola - dinner for one! So one "meal", feeds me for about 4/7 nights a week. And the other 3 nights, I just eat out and use that as a break in the mundane and an opportunity to check in on Yelp lol. Now On to feeding my dogs. I have two 70-80 pound dogs that live with me. At Sam's, I can get standard Purina dog food, nothing fancy but not terrible, about a 55lb bag, for like $20. Yuuuuup! Now then, I do bulk up on drinks. I stay thirsty. So I love buying huge bulk cases of Powerade, water, and Diet Dr Pepper lol. Same goes for body wash, deodorant and shampoo. Tooth paste and mouth wash. These are things that don't expire, and are slightly cheaper when bought in bulk. So 5 sticks of Old Spice deodorant? 5 pack of Crest Optic White toothpaste? A bottle of Old Spice body wash the size of a gallon of milk? Yes please. And house hold cleaning products. TVs, Beds, cooking stuff, even clothes! Sam's has it all. I definitely get my money's worth here. And it's my go-to for almost everything. read more

Excellent set up and service. I normally don't come to this Sam's as much as I do compared to the one on the West side. So it takes a bit to get my bearings where things are located here. You would expect the set up to be identical but they're not. read more

Gas prices are good. Too good maybe because the line is horrendous. People are always blocking the parking lot because of this. People are also getting into rage incidents. Scary. Inside, you can buy almost anything in bulk. Anything except straws. Was shocked as I needed some. Last note, for $1.50; you will not find a better hot dog. Very tasty and filling. read more

I LOVE the "Scan and Go" feature in the app! You literally just scan the barcodes of the items you want and pay in the app and just show your code at the door and voila! So simple and it's great not having to wait in line! I can go anytime and be out of there quickly! I wish they had more organic food options but they have tons of other things I need. read more

So, it has been over 5 years since I had a Membership to Sam's club. One day I decided I should give it a try. Online they had an offer for joining you get $45 Gift Card, but I wasn't sure if Sam's Club was right for my Family. Well, I decided to head there for I remembered they use to give 1 day pass, I figured I would get my grocery shopping completed and I check it out. I took the time to go here, I park, enter, make a line to look into the 1 day pass when they informed me they no longer give 1 day passes. I ask about the $45 Gift Card offer, they tell me thats only online, I ask about Military Discount. They say they got none. I had already wasted over 25 minutes of my time on this, so I was upset. I ended up getting the membership to find out through my grocery shopping that they don't carry the items I need for ny family. Wow Right? :I I have not gone back since then. Soooo already I can tell ya, Sams Club is not for everybody. Thankfully for military discount and they may have a groupon special every now and then, the 35$ annual membership is either 10 or 15 bucks less. Their selection of food and other household products are great but most of the prices for buying in bulk aren't necessarily worth it. We mostly got this for a better deal of buying bulk for toilet paper and paper towels. We feel their brand and amount is the best deal/quality and worth paying that 20bux for their membership fee. Sometimes we like to look at other things like their camping goods, socks, and what not. I especially love how they have awesome prices for their produce. Every now and then, they sell some huge, ripe strawberries and its a 5lb box for 4$ or less at times! And i LOVE their awesome rotisserie chicken for only 5$!!! Those suckers can be huge too! So i would say if you can afford their 35$ annual fee go for it. But keep an eye out first for maybe a groupon deal if you're in no hurry for it. read more

On Dec 30 my parents and I went looking for trip tip to roast and they were out . A worker in the meat department kindly asked me what I needed I said tri tip.. he went inside the butcher area brought out some tri tip , he told me this is all they had , it was cut into small strips. I asked if possible they had the tri tip cut into larger sizes so I could make a roast and he said give me a minute I'll cut one for u , I asked if he could cut me 5lbs and he came back with a smile on his face and asked if it was too my liking , I said yes and thanked him.... DO NOT ORDER TIRES HERE!! Horrible experience with ordering tires at this place. I would not recommend them at all. I ordered two Pirelli P Zero tires and had to pay upfront and was told it would take 6 business days for them to arrive. They didn't arrive and after a couple of days of following up the tire center said they would call the Pirelli rep to track my tires. They did that on a Wednesday and said my tires would arrive on Friday. It is now Saturday two weeks later and they have no clue when my tires will arrive. I figured I would save. Couple hundred dollars and wait the 6 days but as they always say you get what you pay for. Getting a refund and going somewhere else even if I have to pay more. This is my 1st time here I have seen it so many times when I'm driving on highway you get a clear view. As I pull into the parking lot you can clearly see that there is plenty of parking spaces available and handicap spaces too. as I walk in its so bright and clean its lit up like the Macys day parade and from what I am told this location has been here a little over a year I am just excited to be here i feel like a kid in a toy store they have a great selection on various items that can't be found out the other Sams Club its not crowed at all I am told by another employee that this location doesn't get as busy compared to the others and the shelf's are well stocked and organized. I must admit I am loving this Sams Club it is definitely my favorite store from now on I do believe this is going to be my store from now on where I will be doing all my shopping for my family. The quality of the meat is excellent UDSA choice at afforable prices Now today has been a good day already but it just went to excellent when I was going through all the aisles in the store I went to my favorite department cookware and I had seen this 18 piece kitchen aid stainless steel pots and pan set but it did not have a price an employee had asked if I needed help and she got the price man what a bargin it had been reduced from $159.98 to $63.01but it gets even better the manager had lower the price again when I was getting ready to check out to $56.02 I was so dang excited you would think I got it for free. I'm grateful that we in the Northeast don't have to go far east or west anymore to shop at Sam's. There are somethings that I can only get there. Being that it's brand new, it is clean for now. There are two things, however, that should change IMMEDIATELY. The sample givers and some other sorenes workers have a surly disposition. Being that they are brand new, no worker should have that" I've been here forever!" look on their face. (Not that they should EVER have that, but shouldn't you be putting your best foot forward to make sure new costumers stay?) The bigger issue is the meat department. There was meat that was discounted. However, the lower priced items I saw were grey and some pork chops had mold on them. This is a potentially dangerous situation. I did have one other small quibble...not everything is priced, our if it is, it's not a logical place. For example, in the cheese cake, there are signs above certain types, some have tags on the back. read more

My first time coming here to order pizza and the service was not up to par. I understand that there are only two of you working and that making the pizza would take a while. But when you don't let us know our pizza is ready and we've been waiting for more then an hour that's when it gets ridiculous. Plus there were only 2 other people waiting for pizza as well! Not ordering pizza from here ever again. And please when a customer is being patient and smiling at you to check up on her pizza don't look mad and annoyed that you have to check on her order when you aren't doing anything else. read more

This Sam's Club is new & it shows on both the inside and the outside. The building is clean and everything on the shelves is organized. For most of my shopping trip, the store was not at all crowded. I was in the store from 10 AM - 11 AM. Upon leaving, that is when more of a crowd began to show up. The staff is very polite and patient, which is a breath of fresh air. I would definitely recommend this Sam's to anyone with, or interested in purchasing, a membership! read more

Gas is really cheap here compared the pumps are often packed. They have a good variety of clothing to choose from more then Costco and the food court is relatively crowded during rush hours. The check out lines aren't so bad they have plenty of self check out lanes. read more

A LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN! That is the only way that I can describe how the gas station at this Sam's Club operates at times. On February 15, while pumping gas into my truck, the automatic shutoff function on the nozzle malfunctioned, and gas spilled out onto my vehicle, the ground, and onto my shoes. When I called the young male gas station attendant over (the young guy with the thin goatee and 'hakuna matata' attitude), he took his time coming over. When I showed him the gas spill, and explained that the nozzle situation was very dangerous, he replied 'yeah, I know, and management knows, but they have not done anything about it.' Or words to that effect. I then explained to him that the malfunction is not only a violation of federal law, but probably state and county law. His reply was once again a 'yeah, probably', or words to that effect. When I told him that he should radio that problem in to his management, he just walked away from me. UNBELIEVABLE! I then went into the Sam's Club proper, and spoke with one of the manager's (an older female), who dropped what she was doing, and headed out to the gas pumps to take care of the problem. The main point I want to make about this situation is that this same young man always seem to have a nonchalant attitude about matters at the gas pumps. If Sam's Club does not straighten him out, then they are putting their business in legal 'harms way'. It would not take much for an errant spark from a cell phone to set spilled gas on fire. I hope for the sake of its customer's safety that this issue is resolved, and resolved immediately. read more

This review is for the bakery department. I ordered a 3 tiered birthday cake for my brother's birthday and when we took it out of the box, I thought I was being pranked!!! The cake was lopsided and had a finger indentation on it!! I was so upset!!! It was 2 hours before the party!!! Sams did give me money back but I had to buy a flat cake to replace this joke of a cake! I do not recommend. I should have gone to Costco like I always do!!! read more

Convenient location and located a good distance away from the busy streets, Hondo Pass, Dyer and Trans Mountain. It is right off the freeway and the gas is always less expensive than Walmart, Circle K or Alon. read more

Worst customer service experience ever. Sam's is so eager to take my money, but won't return it when I'm unsatisfied with one of their items. I must have the original receipt in order to get my cash back. I bought an item and paid cash. Day after I go back to store to return it, but I'm told all I can get is store credit, even though member service desk attendat is able to pull a copy of my recipt in the system! When I asked attendat about it, she said she couldn't share it with me because "its for store use only, not for your use." So much for being part of "the Club." Sam's sucks. Get Costco membership instead. They have way better customer service and will return full purchase price (cash or store credit) of any item you're unsatisfied with, even if you don't have the receipt. Now that's customer satisfaction. Costco rules! read more

Much prefer this location over the one on Mesa. It's much cleaner and newer. Traffic is better in this area as the area is less built up. Staff seems to be friendlier at this location as well. The gas station is more convenient. Even though I live on the west side, I find myself driving over Transmountain to shop at this location. In my opinion, the entrance/exit on the corner makes it much more convenient for access from more of the parking lot. read more

I used to really love coming here once a month and have been a loyal member for a year. Well I went in about two weeks ago I had maybe 6 items and after the cashier rang me up she then proceeded to tell me my total and said, " BTW, your membership expired yesterday, you need to renew it" well I only brought enough to pay for my items in cash with me and not renew my membership that day. She told me I could not purchase anything unless I did. I asked if she could give me a day pass like Costco or BJs wholesale does for loyal members. No. So I had to leave my items and leave. I would have renewed my membership, unfortunately if that's how paying loyal customers are treated then I will not be coming back. My money just walked out your doors. Renee at the membership counter could use more customer service training, but employees in the electronics section and cashiers were very friendly, patient and helpful. It's a great place to shop for anything that doesn't spoil. Seriously, sometimes they have 'reduced for quick sale' meat that looks questionable, like you have to cook it as soon as you get home. I pass by that stuff. I am really talking produce. I got nectarines, they looked a little shabby but they were firm. They didn't have that ripe nectarine smell but I bought them anyway. Bad idea. The first one I bit into was rotten brown on the inside, the entire inside. Then I thought I could cut them up and store then in the fridge. Nope. They were all brown inside. Also, bags of produce, even if you store then in a cold fridge( get a fridge thermometer) these bags of produce go bad in a few days. I thought, " what am I doing wrong? Must be a fluke" but I went on their website. People were leaving bad reviews about the produce from all over! So, buy flour, buy garden stuff, buy kitchen supplies but skip anything perishable. Also sometimes their check outs are not working or just unmanned, which is a pain if it's crowded. read more
