We're awesome and amazing amazing I was locked out of my tractor trailer and had to wait for three hours. The staff made sure I was OK put my cart of groceries in the cooler so nothing will melt or be damaged and even search high and low to find me a charger with my phone was about to die while still waiting for the roadside assistance so if someone please recognize Samira and the manager, you all are amazing and made my day as a truck driver. read more

I had one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had in a long time at Sam's Club. I had a tire repair appointment and realized I was going to be about 30 minutes late. Before making the drive, I tried calling the tire center to let them know and see if they could still accommodate me. I sat on hold for over 10 minutes and never got through to anyone. Since I couldn't reach the department, I drove to the store anyway. I'm a disabled customer whose mobility varies from day to day. Depending on the situation, I may use one cane, two canes, a wheelchair, or a motorized scooter. When I arrived, I used one of the store's motorized scooters to get from the entrance to the tire center. After making the trip, I was informed that because I was late, they would not be able to service my vehicle. While I understand that appointments have schedules, it was incredibly frustrating knowing that a simple phone call could have saved me the drive and effort had someone actually answered the phone. Unfortunately, that wasn't even the worst part of the experience. After learning my tire would not be repaired, I attempted to return the motorized scooter near the entrance closest to my vehicle. My car was parked directly across from that entrance, making it the safest and shortest walk for me. An employee stopped me and insisted that I take the scooter all the way around to a different exit that was significantly farther away from my vehicle. I explained multiple times that I am disabled, that I use a cane, and that my car was literally right in front of me. I wasn't shopping, carrying merchandise, or attempting to misuse the scooter. I simply wanted to take the most accessible route back to my vehicle. Despite this, the employee continued arguing with me and repeatedly insisted that I walk the longer distance. What made the interaction even more upsetting was the complete lack of empathy. As someone who is still working hard to regain mobility and independence, being told to walk farther when a closer accessible option was right in front of me felt incredibly dismissive. Several customers nearby appeared just as confused by the interaction as I was. This experience wasn't just inconvenient--it was disheartening. Accessibility isn't just about having scooters available; it's about treating disabled customers with understanding, respect, and common sense. Between the tire center not answering its phones and the way I was treated afterward, I left feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and unwelcome. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because no customer should leave feeling the way I did, especially one who is already navigating physical challenges just to get through their day. read more

I researched several tire business to try to find the best deal and warranty to purchase 4 tires. Sam's club beat out 3 other places to earn my business. The warranty covered more and covered a longer period than others, the price was very competitive, and the customer service was helpful from the beginning of my process (getting quotes) to the end (installation). Landon was very helpful in the end showing me where the spare tire was stored in my SUV, how to remove it, and getting underneath the SIV to double check. I was very pleased with this experience. Once I got on the road I could immediately tell a difference in the drive because of the new set of tires. I am very pleased with Sam's club tire center and I recommend it to others if you are looking to buy news tires. read more

I am now convinced that scan and go is the system to use when you come to shop at Sam's. It makes it so easy to just scan each item as you put it in the cart. Then when you're finished push the finalize button, click on your credit card and you're all set to go to head out to your vehicle. You get a QR Code to show to the door person. they scan it with their gun and you're all set. It's so effortless and no standing in line. read more

Of the two Sam's Club locations in Louisville area, I prefer this one to the one on Preston Hey. This Sam's Club location is easier to drive into because its parking lot is designed and laid-out better than the other location. Plus the gas pumps have been updated and are easier to navigate. Now, the driving layout is one direction only. This diminishes the confusion and frustration that always accompanied getting gas at Sam's Club before the update. While the parking lot is laid out fairly well, there is always a bottleneck of pedestrians in the entryway of the store because there is just not enough room on the sidewalk for all the directions that people may need to go in that space. Once inside, the store is somewhat easy to navigate. While the aisles are labeled, it's better sometimes to walk through them in search of your desired item. Usually, there are so many different things that everything can't be on the aisle's label. While searching, most people are courteous and cordial as they snake around each other in the aisles. I think everyone realizes that we are ALL are just trying to shop; thus, there is no reason to get upset or be impatient. Hint: do NOT expect a trip to Sam's to be quick. Sam's has somewhat decent produce. When buying in bulk, there is always the threat of it spoiling before you can consume it all. The bakery always has some decadent offerings. Plus, you can special-order baked goods (cakes/cupcakes) for a special event. There is usually a sale in the meat/seafood dept. and they offer unique dairy and cold items. I won't name all the categories of items that Sam's Club sells. Suffice it to say that groceries, household goods, appliances, electronics, clothing and outdoor items are some categories of the merchandise sold there. While Sam's is a membership only, bulk, warehouse-goods seller, most, but not all items, are sold in bulk. So, if you have the storage space, then Sam's can be worth the trip. read more

Shout out to Goodall Country Kitchen You Tube channel opened my eyes to how much quality and low price Sam's Club food court is. My wife and I had the Pizza combo with soda for around $10. You get a large slice of NY style cheese, Pepperoni, or Meat Eater pizza. The pizza was gooey, melty, goodness with every bite. This was the cheapest eat out meal in decades. Get plenty of napkins and utensils to keep from spilling any of it on your shirt. Don't miss out on this cheap treat that will make your money stretch for an enjoyable experience. read more

Irbid location needs a facelift. The gas pumps are all closed for renovations. I'm disappointed that Sam's Club gas is among the highest prices here and in Clarksville. Where we live Sam's gas is generally the lowest prices around. I think they have the best meat in town. Butcher on site, easy to talk to. The cake decorators are the best and super friendly. I have had birthday cakes decorated personally and beautifully. Returns are slow, but very friendly and helpful. A lot of supervisor approvals, which seems to be a bit unwieldy. The reason we buy here and online is because they treat customers right and always have what we need. I have shopped here for years, and probably spend too much because we don't have as many mouths to feed now. But I love to cook for groups and this place is perfect for feeding a crowd. Sams seems to have incredibly pertinent customer data regarding trends and needs, there is always something there that I am interested in. And the cut flowers are the absolute best, last for weeks, I always get a bouquet for my wife when I go there because they are such a great value. read more

I hate to do this but Sam's you're losing a star since my last review. I admit part of my displeasure was my fault since I chose to shop the Monday prior to Thanksgiving. Crowds I expected even though I went before noon. Unfortunately my let down was the number of pantry staples I usually buy from Sam's that they were out of. I did see lots of pies strolling by in others carts but that wasn't on my list. When I finally made it to the back of the store for my produce I was really disappointed. No romaine lettuce hearts I understood since there had been a recall. I guess the store didn't compensate on more of other salad products since more people would be buying non romaine salad makings. They were out of head lettuce, the baby spinach looked limp. I did get my bag of Granny Smith apples to make my own sugar free pie. My biggest problem was the store motorized cart I was using died in the back of the store. I had to turn it off and on to try to walk it up to the front. Once the checkers realized what I was doing they quickly got a replacement cart to load my groceries in after the checkout process. So thanks for that remedy. Next time I won't time my big shopping trip on the week of a holiday. I'm sure you will restore your rating to five stars. read more

I haven't been to the Louisville Sam's Club in awhile, since I live in Lexington now. We were able to get in no problem; but as we began looking around, there was trash around on their floors and pieces of equipment that were partially in the walkways. While I understand that having them is important, I don't appreciate to have to go around them; when someone could have just put them away in their rightful spot after using them....ie: clean up after yourself. Anyway, I went around eating some snacks. I've always loved their snacks and they are pretty good about letting me see the ingredients, since I do have a lot of food allergies. One of the gals was fairly rude. She was handing out samples for everyone; and I was coming up behind her and grabbed one from the side. And she said it was a health code violation for me to get the sample from the side of her. I honestly didn't know what to do at first; so she RUDELY repeated herself. So I went around to the front and set the sample (that I had already picked up) on the blue tray while holding it, then pulled it back up and she said Thank You. So while I understand that health violations are important, Sam's Club really needs to either train their employees properly or put their employees in boxes with only 1 opening. Because there were several people that did the same exact thing as me, and she was rude to them as well. And another thing, keeping hold of my sample and going to the front and putting it down and then picking it back up IS a health code violation. And I understand that employees probably get bored in their stations, while waiting for food to cook. But leaving their section and not able to see their food cooking....I feel like that is also a health code violation; because who knows if someone messes with the food that the employees end up serving, if they aren't watching their food. Checking out tho, the cashier was very kind. Helped us to use a gift card first then paid the rest of the bill. Also, one of our zucchini and yellow squash spirals had a hole in the bag. Originally he took it off and then a manager came over and he went and got us a new one and re-put the spirals back on our receipt. Either way, we were pleased with that. End result? I think I will avoid ever going to this Sam's Club in Louisville again. read more

Ok, Sam's Club is Sam's Club. The store is what it is. There are waits in the checkout on Saturdays and a wait to check you out the door (which I hate!) However, I have to give a good shout out to the Tire and Battery and the Optical Center. Both have staff that are so friendly and helpful. I get my contacts, and sometimes my glasses at Sam's. The people that work there have been there for years, have helped me even when they were technically closed, and are always friendly. Now there have been different people at the Tire and Battery, but once they come from the garage to help, they are all so helpful. Recently we put two tires on my husbands car, and they took it in early and we're done before our original appointment time. This week, we went to order 4 tires for my car. The service guy told us about a promotional deal to upgrade to a plus member. We upgraded to Plus, paid $25 to do that, but saved and additional $75 with coupons and savings. This review is for Sam's Club Bakery. I ordered a two tier cake for a Doggy Birthday Party and was very impressed. Yes, you read that right! A dog birthday party... Don't judge me. It was a great reason to have friends over and eat cake :-) Ordering was easy, the prices were very affordable compared to other bakeries and the customer service was great. They also had a wide variety of selections that you can customize as well. I selected a birthday design from their cake book but customized it. The employee listened to what I wanted, took great notes and repeated everything back to me to ensure she had it correct. This is a major plus in my book. Yes, repeating an order back should be standard but these days bad customer service seems to be the norm. Did I mention that placing a custom cake order only requires a 24 hour notice?! Wow! Tried out this location to see if they had the pants I was lookIng for. The TVs just call out to you as you walk by! My 11 yr old son was in heaven. Then he found the iPhones and didn't want to leave. Much smaller selection of clothes than our store but they had so many things! What started as a run in and exchange one thing then turned into an all night excursion. My husband was definitely regretting bringing us in when we kept rushing him! Sam's is a big box discount store for food and home items, including furniture, clothing and sporting items. You can also find wine and liquor, tires and gift card packages. Our family goes sporadically but it's mainly to pick up bulk items for my husband's business. Even with (4) of us, it's difficult to justify purchasing things in bulk. While I might be in the mood for it today, that doesn't mean I want to eat the same thing for a month ... Even if purchasing food in bulk isn't your thing, you will appreciate their fresh fruit, bakery items (cakes/cupcakes), flowers and photos. My younger boys (and husband) do enjoy going, and this is because of the food. They love roaming the aisles trying the samples. Topping that is grabbing a table to have lunch. Sam's does serve great hot dogs, pizza and hot pretzels. read more

Self-checkout has really improved the Sam experience over the years, but for me what makes Sam's Club great are the items it carries that you can't find easily at other stores. I was in their store and wanted to ask the customer care desk a question. I have not been in their store for a few months. I am used to seeing at least three customer care ladies behind the service desk at any given time. Now they have these iPads for you to use on top of a counter and there is only one lady at a time helping customers, and teaching customers how to use an iPad. When I got to the store there was 12 people waiting in line to talk to one store representative. I understand it's their way of saving money paying one lady instead of three at any given time. With I don't like is if there is 10 or 15 people waiting in line for 20+ minutes or more they seem to not care about their customers. read more

Would be 0 stars but have to give one to leave a review! Went to this Sam's club with my friend--I'm a long time Costco member but have considered switching. We were buying supplies for a local shelter and had a packed cart. When we got to checkout the lady checking us out was very rude. Demanded that I go get another cart and when I asked about the cart in the closed checkout lane behind her that had one empty box in it she said "no, obviously there's something in it." I told her I understood and asked if I go get another cart would they let me back in? Fair question since I do not have a Sams club card on me. She said "I don't know go to the front and figure it out." Luckily I was able to get back in. She proceeds to aggressively shove all of our items to the end of the lane for us-breaking not one but two boxes of tuna open. I understand people have bad days but the attitude and disrespect for our donations was appalling. I won't be returning to Sam's club and will be happily renewing my Costco membership. I refrained from saying the workers name as I'm not in the business of getting people fired. read more

Alright, I'm totally #TeamSamsClub. I've been a member here for years and it's here I'll stay. Their hours say they open at 10, but 9 for business members. I have been known to sneak in a few minutes before 10 with my lowly normal membership and no one has said a word. I've compared prices with Costco and Sam's are mostly better. I also like their selection waaaay better. Aside from the above mentioned favorite things of Sam's... the snack bar. Y'all. There is crack in their meat pizza. It's so tasty. In my household we call this Sam's "Samuel's" because of its high end atmosphere and products and service. This location is kind and professional and has organic, gluten free options, better produce and generally a better experience overall. I also enjoy the high-end liquor store part and have used that many times to get gifts or party needs! They have really made check out more difficult by eliminating cashiers. Honestly I get that at kroger. Sam's is supposed to have better standards, I have to pay to shop here. So keep cashiers employed. I get self check out for a few items but not my whole cart. Considering it was closing time and I was in the handy scooter, due to breaking my foot, I was in no position to be able to do self check out and was very annoyed that only one cashier was open for the remaining 12 people trying to check out with large carts. This is my reason for less stars. I will be back and I will continue to call this location Samuel's! read more

Its not often you find a company which makes mistakes this bad. By this I mean a company which lets a bad company do business within their store. AT&T scores a 1 out of 5 in Google, YP and Yelp for customer satisfaction. Sams had a black friday special at the store. We contracted for Direct TV and internet at Sams club. You would get a 450 dollar Sams card, and both Direct TV and internet services for 100 per month for a 24 month contract. This seemed to be a great price. You were supposed to pay about 50 for installation for direct tv and AT&T was to install it within a week. When the Direct TV installer showed you had to pay him 100 in cash for installing a pole for the antenna in the yard. The AT&T installer never showed and never called to advise they were not showing. They (AT&T) didn't show the second time and didn't show the third time and never called. Even though it was a great price I had to cancel the services because they could not or would not show and install the services. I was out time off from work for three days plus the deposits with no reason for this behavior. AT&T was not even polite. Which is a reason why I will not renew my Sams membership after 15 years. I love this place. I am here every 2 weeks to get stuff for me for work and also stuff for family. Plenty of options for you to choose from. The have plenty of checkout lanes. I love the prices. I enjoy the fact that they have what I need and want. I know there are other places to shop but it makes me happy to go to a place that has everything I need. So many Sam's stores were closed and they chose to keep this one open?!? How bad were the ones they closed? Our last visit was rather dismal. We stopped by the deli for a hotdog combo. All the condiments were either empty or broken. The soda area was in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. Picked up some of the items we were looking for. Some items were out of stock. The meat department was picked over and was in need of restocking. At checkout, it was rather disturbing at the lengths that some staff go to ignore customers. Of the number of people in the front of the store, only a third seemed to be engaged with ringing out customers. Others seemed heavily engrossed in their own conversations. When we finally got to our cashier, she apologized for the behavior of her "coworkers". My wife and I discussed on the way home if our cashier was being ignored and left to fend for herself due to her age or maybe her race? Maybe it was more innocent than it appeared, but the appearance was certainly disturbing. Maybe it's time for us to check out the competition. read more

First of all it is the awesome Pharmacy staff lead by Pharmacy manager - Chelsea Tyree. With her lead, Trish, Brenda and Vijay (who is currently on assignment at the corporate office), I always feel well-taken care of and well-informed with my medication. If something looks slightly out of whack (especially price), they catch it for me and spend their valuable time researching and trying to get to the bottom of the issue. Although we moved further away from this Sams and we are surrounded by closer Pharmacies, I keep a majority of my monthly refills here because they make me feel safe. Second there are little things, like Miss Rosie who checks our baskets when we leave, she is always nice and pleasant. I'm so glad she can use a highlighter again. The whole inkstamp thing looked awfully cumbersome and then they added a mini-clipboard, trying to help and I could only imagine trying to stand on my feet all day, hold that thing and count groceries.....but I digress....the highlighter seems to have returned!! The many other people on the staff whom I do not have their names memorized, but have always been nice and taken time to say hello or tell me about free cupcakes (very important information)!! I have visited the other location a couple times. The vibe is definitely not the same. For some reason, as I was self-checking out, the clerk must have decided I looked like a psychotherapist because she started pouring out her heart about how the management and clientele acted. It was not a positive interaction. I was very uncomfortable, and although five minutes closer to my home, I will gladly spend the extra 10 minutes to avoid a situation like that again. Why not five stars? Well it's a big box store, not a five star restaurant. I like their staff and selection. Not too crazy about any Sam's fresh meat department....not that it is dirty or anything...please DO NOT think that...it is the selection itself. I have ALWAYS preferred a competitors (for the past 20 years since I lived in Georgia, there are some things you cannot change), much of it has to do with packaging. The produce guy was really nice other day when we talked about the berry shortage (oh my!) and we had a good laugh. That's what I mean about the vibe, the people seem to enjoy working there and I have not heard complaints, I'm in and out of there several times a month for the past five years, so it would seem I would hear something. We don't eat a lot of frozen food or bakery items anymore, but their selection is good. I like to buy some of their canned veggies when I can't get fresh - good prices....so that's about it. Gas prices are usually good, that and the Pharmacy is why I get a lot of check-ins here, they keep me coming back!! One suggestion is to make the Pharmacy bigger.
