Definitely, it's a different vibe than a Costco, which is much busier, but it still has a wide range of great deals and discounts that are different from Costco. I did like the relative calmness of this store and the overall experience of quietness inability to enjoy the experience. They don't have an optical, but they do have quite a bit more plants and floral than the Costco does. As far as clothing, you definitely wanna swing by that area to see what great deals there might be. The baked items, which I rarely have the opportunity to try, has an incredible selection of fresh baked croissants, and breads. Quite extensive and comparable to what Costco offers. French Silk Pie: Member's Mark is Sam's Club's brand of products. For those of you not familiar with Sam's Club it's basically a Costco. Doing a little research, I was able to learn that French Silk Pie originated in 1951 when Betty Cooper, an American, submitted her French Silk Chocolate Pie in a baking contest and won. I can't find why French is in the title, but the "silk" comes from the silky creamy finish attributed to the chocolate mousse. Prior to Betty sharing her recipe, chocolate cream pies were typically made with a pudding filling. My Member's Mark Pie had a velvety smooth, rich, chocolate mousse inside the flaky pie crust, and was then topped with sweet, whipped cream, and crisp chocolate curls. Found yesterday they had duvel (Belgium 2 beer with souvenir glass for 19 bucks) just one bottle it's 15 outside . I always leave with a full cart, a full stomach, and a surprisingly on this day, a perfect lunch date memory. The samples are the main event and this location had several to try. The store is always clean, food is fresh and good quality. You may have trouble finding an associate to help you locate something , but we just turned it into a fun scavenger hunt. This is the second time I've used curbside pickup in a row that they have not been able to have the order ready within the hour timeframe I booked when I made my purchase. As a plus member, I pay for the privilege of curbside delivery, in theory so I can save time. The last time this happened I was advised it was because they were short staffed and did not even pull the order until after they closed the day I was to pick up. Today, I selected 3-4 pm for a pickup window, and have been at the store since 3 pm. I have seen two people working curbside delivery, so don't think short staffed is the issue. Yes, it is raining, but it is also 70 degrees outside, not 20 or colder like the rest of the country. Finally received the text my order was ready at 4:30. There is a reason I chose to upgrade my membership so I don't have to WASTE MY TIME shopping in the store. Thank you Sam's Club for stealing another 110 minutes of my life. Not that it's a bad thing; they have enough u scans open for you to check out easy, it's the exit door that's the issue. This review is just for the food court. One thing I learned recently is that unlike Costco, anyone can go to Sam's club food court without having a membership. My husband and I decided to check their offerings out especially the viral birthday cake sundae. When we arrived on a weekend in the afternoon, there was about 4 people in the line. When it was our turn, we decided to try out the cheese pretzel, cheese pizza slice, and of course the birthday sundae. I think we paid under 8 dollars for all the items. The birthday sundae was around $1.58 which is quite a bargain for the amount you get! The birthday sundae was hands down my favorite item that we got. It wasn't overly sweet, the layered in cake pieces were great, and the froyo was smooth and creamy. I would definitely order this again! The cheese pizza on the other hand was just average. The cheese and sauce just taste like plastic and have no flavor.I personally think Costco pizza is much better. The cheese pretzel was a bit burned and we had to specifically ask for the marinara dip that comes with it as the employee forgot to give this to us. Overall, I'd recommend trying out their sweet options especially sundaes as they are the best! read more

Remodeled Sam's Club is not quite ready for Black Friday I have been a member at Sam's Club and I love the bargains. While I am not so much a Walmart shopper, the warehouse deals and inexpensive comfy clothing keep me coming back. This location is close to my house and they recently remodeled the customer service area and split it into two stations. This review is about an online pickup order. The customer service area for returns and memberships is now two small desks and the online pickup is a little bigger desk near the entrance door with shelves behind it. Recap ----------- -While I applaud them separating pickup from membership and returns they need to staff this so you don't wait in two lines -The new customer service area needs to be better organized if they are going with the two small kiosk type desks. Signage or those dreaded ribbons that direct people where to wait might tamper the confusion -While I like the idea of assigning a time so the lineup at the pickup area is not overwhelmed, I think asking online purchasers to check boxes next to potential pickup windows might improve the experience for employed customers. This area could easily get congested because it is basically at the store entrance. -Lastly the convenience is lost if the staff is not attentive to selecting the proper items. This employee was wanting me to purchase the wrong item to complete her task rather than provide good customer service. -I like that you can order online and chose to pay at the store. This is a nice convenience and could have been an option for my situation -Your inclination is to exit out the entrance because you are literally standing right there. Due to the displays setup to catch your eye as you enter the store, there is no clear path to the exit door and the guy who checks your receipt. This is simply a logistics issue but I bet a lot of people want to escape out the entrance once their transaction is complete The Details about my experience I wanted an item that I did not see on a recent visit. I went to the Sam's website to order and it showed available for me to pickup in the store on Orange Blossom Trail. It was those Glade automatic air fresheners with refills. I selected the hard to find seasonal fragrance that I wanted and check out was a breeze. A short time later I got an email that my order was ready and that I had a pickup window from 2 pm - 6 pm. Not so convenient for people who work 9-6 but I was going to be in the area on my late lunch hour so I could make it work. I went to the online pickup counter which to the right of the entrance just as you step through the door. The person working there said I am not doing store pickups, I am making signs. I pointed to the six foot sign and said well this appears to be where I should queue up. I could see my order on the open wood shelves behind the desk. She redirected me to the customer service counter which is now about 20 feet on the left when you enter the store. Instead of a long counter and clearly marked queues, it is two small desk stations. There was a good long line and some of the workers were struggling to get the customers to form a queue. An employee walked by and I inquired if I was in the proper line. She said yes and then a few minutes later redirected me and another customer back to the online order pickup which was now staffed by a different lady. The employee at the Online pickup desk looked at her handheld and said Beatrice and I said No. Again Beatrice and I said my last name. She asked a third time and then said never mind that order is already picked up. They are using a handheld and a paper binder with sheets for each order. My guess is this is not fully automated yet. She brought my order over and it was not the desired fragrance. I said well this is not what I selected when I ordered. She said we just grab the item and don't get details on your selection. I said why does it give you a drop down online to pick a fragrance. I showed her my phone with the pickup notice that included the picture of the item with the fragrance I had selected. I said how about I go back and check if you have what I want before I pay? She said no I need you to complete this transaction. I said slightly annoyed, "You want me to pay for the wrong item and then wait in line again to exchange/return if you don't have it?" She said yes. Well actually I wanted to go in the back and look and scratch and sniff the box they were holding for me. I was not exactly comfortable about doing this in front of the lady and the other customer waiting in line. So she asked me for my Sam's Card to complete the transaction and the grumpy cat face I made must have inspired her to think again. She said that I could go back and she would wait on the next customer and then see what I decide. So in the end she did the proper thing and I ended up just taking the ones they picked even though it was not my intended purchase. read more

Where to even start? At 4pm today I called in an order of 8 pizzas. I advised the person answering the phone that I would be in to grab them between 5-515pm. Imagine my surprise when after driving in traffic for 30 mins, I arrive at the location and I am informed that I never called in an order. I stand at the counter and repeat that I contacted the orange blossom location, told the person who answered what I needed and was advised that they can definitely do this. The folks in the pizza department advised me that they could make all 8 of them in 15 mins, I advised them that with it now being after 530, and me needing to have the pizzas back by 6pm, I did not have the time. As I was on my way to leave, a woman came up to me and apologized for the mix up, she stated that yes the order was called in, but the phone is broken in the food court and that the person who took the call could not come to the area to advise them to prepare the food, because it was too busy. Now, I know this was not the specific folks fault, but I would think that a location that receives as much business as they do would think to get their phones fixed. The only thing she could offer me for their mix up was 10% off my order. I've never been a consumer who responds with indignation, but I should've either been compensated by way of my order being free or even being given a coupon/gift card for a later purchase, but the way I was treated was completely unacceptable. A couple if years ago I purchased a Duracell car battery with a 3 year unlimited warranty. I later dropped my membership due to the aggressive sub contractors that would follow you around the store trying to sell windows and roofs. That battery died prematurely and I called to see if I could bring it in and exchange it. The person that answered the phone told me Sam's does not honor any warranty unless you keep paying for a membership! I also found out that the lifetime rotation I paid for for the tires I bought is now void. This is pure STEALING!
