Zak and his associates do an amazing job at this Sams! This store was completely destroyed by a tornado several years ago, and was originally never to open again. However, pressure from Grapevine customers, on a visit from the head of Wal*Mart convinced him to reopen this Sams! Based on how full the parking lot is, how busy it is inside, that was an excellent decision! The store is beautiful, extremely well, immaculately, clean, and very well stocked! Every associate is friendly and helpful, and if you show up around lunchtime, you can get your fill on samples of foods they're selling, had no cost! Not only do I highly recommend this location, you would be crazy not to come here and take advantage of the great values they offer! However, they do not have cash registers, it's a scan and go only store... Which they will help you if you're not accustomed to doing that! Frankly, I think it's so much easier and quicker, we've been doing it before it ever became a requirement here! read more

My introduction to Sam's was "Let's do lunch!" Located just off the entrance, you don't need a Sam's card to enjoy the hotdog and drink for $1.37 (price will change someday) or 2 slices of pizza and drink for $2.50. The hotdog is huge, and the pizza slices are 1/4 of a pizza, so the value is astounding! There are other snacks and ice cream, but those are for another day. There are good deals throughout the entire store, stacked on shelves so high that you may need a forklift to help you get stuff. There are stacks and stacks of cases of cookies, chips, honey buns, etc. Home goods and paper goods are all together on one wall. In the back is dairy, meats, packed to feed a family of 10. This store is bulk, so don't come looking for single items! The freezer sections are amazing. There are several rows. Each individual row has an opening at the end where people come and go to stock the foods for that particular freezer. Meats, dairy, ice creams, etc. Each individual freezer is about the size of a boxcar on a train. I peeked into one of the sliding doors. There are boxes stacked where each frozen item goes. Keep in mind the frozen item is a case of something. Up toward the front is pharmaceutical items, health bars, and such. Periodically, little mechanized machines roll by, constantly taking inventory. Want to steal anything? Good luck! Bulk items don't hide well under your coat. Also, you CANNOT go in through the out door (we tried) and there is someone with a price gun checking your purchases on the way out. Unlike Walmart, Sam's utilizes EVERY checkout constantly. Furthermore, you need your Sam's card to activate the register or you cannot check out. There are service reps near each register, in case you need help. I accidentally left my receipt. A man brought it to me, because you can't leave the store without it! Remember the aforementioned door person with the check gun? That receipt is a must have! * By the way, I mentioned the anti-theft because Sam's has so many people in the place, I swear there is at least one in every aisle, ready to help. We joked about it, because Walmart is serious about theft with their signs everywhere, but Sam's is even worse. It's a beehive of constant activity. One last thing. If you don't like crowds, don't shop here, because the place is packed. It's a fortress and it's great value! read more

Absolutely sad that it took myself calling and complaining again for anyone to reach out to me. There should be absolutely no excuses for their delay. The company and its employees obviously don't care about taking the time to correct the problems their employees create. It shouldn't have taken this long and one representative to push for a call back. I hope Sam's Club has more of its customers wake up and shop elsewhere. Do not buy Christmas stuff here! My Christmas tree purchased from sams club just last year stopped working and they will not give an exchange or store credit. Apparently they think its fair for people to spend hundreds of dollars on a tree that only lasts 1 year. I will be switching to Costco, never again! read more

I'm torn different directions on Sams offerings. I started doing pickup orders for my family for almost a year. Going into this for almost a full year after paying for the premier membership I find out I was getting none of the incentives using online ordering and having it shipped to my door and doing in store Pikcup outside. So after lots money spent I lost out on some unknown benefits just for not walking into the store making actual purchases. On the upside though had I purchased only the basic membership I would still gotten all the benefits I needed. Their curbside Pikcup is amazing fast and the staff is super friendly. When things were brought to my car and were bad they would just refund me over the phone. Their Customwr service in the curbside area has been pretty good. Overall though because of the lost of rewards I am canceling my membership and sticking to the other big box store in town. read more

Their customer service is bad at the Rock Road location. I ordered some items for club pickup, got home and realized I didn't have one of the items. It's a $12+ item so I called to let them know I didn't receive it. They acted disorganized and confused and put me on hold for over 30 minutes. on December 18th I purchased a tub of potato salad. After I got home and was putting things away I noticed the use by date is December 09 2019. Shop at Sam's a couple of times a month. Helps me save money on things like paper towels and such.

Most of the weekends I stop here for my grocery shopping. Nothing special to say. I don't like the thing that they are rotating the groceries around but it makes me find out more products I never knew that they sell. On Saturdays and Sundays they have food stand that you can try new products before you buy them. Gas is cheaper than any gas station around here. read more

For buying in bulk you really don't save much. Still better than Costco. Membership fee is high as well. Seems like I can get just as good deals at dillons and don't get too much food that ends up sitting at the back of the cupboard or going bad. Would've given 3 stars but there is never anyone offering help. Usually just hounding me for my id or receipt at the entry and exit. Lady in the self-checkout line seems to try to hard to upsell and makes comments on all the groceries we get. Gets invasive. One time my wife and I were having some minor problems and she pointed it out to us that we didn't seem happy and made it into an awkward situation. I'm in the self-checkout line for a reason. Cust serv lady very rude. Every time i use cust serv, i seem to get her & doesnt even try to b friendly. Brought shirt back w/receipt & only wanted to gv me store cred since i didnt hav my husb cred card w/me. Pd as debit, so came out like cash...but she was like: "its store policy". The next time, same thing...she actually had to call mgr & then said: "we'll do it this time". Ive taken things back b4 & never any prob if u hav receipt, but every time she lectures me on policy? She should not b in cust serv or needs training on how to treat cust nicer! The mgr at this store must b lax, cause ive run into several very rude people on floor & snack area as well. read more

Do not order from this bakery! Ordered 2 cakes within the span of a week, one was the wrong flavor and the other one, for a graduation party, wasn't even on their books when I went to pick it up! Had no record of it, even though I ordered in store and went over written instructions twice with the employee. All they could say was that they had a bunch of cakes to do that day and they were human. No offer to help me and couldn't have demonstrated less care for a customer. Never, never again!! read more

No star. Waited an hour and 45 minutes to get a set of tires put on when I had made an appointment the prior day, and they weren't very busy. There were no people waiting in line, only one car in the stall when I pulled up, and hardly any cars parked out back. The tires had marks all over them, and the steering wheel wobbled on the way home like they are out of balance. I think the entire staff decided to go on an hour and a half break when I got there. I AM PI$$ED. Oh, and my son missed his football picture because of this. Thanks a lot, Sam's Club!!! I may have saved a little money, but you absolutely ruined my Saturday. And a warranty is pretty much worthless if you can't get it worked on in a reasonable amount of time. Next time, I'm going back to Tire$+ next door to get the Bridgestone Ecopia tires that I got for my other vehicle and have been very happy with. Don't know why I didn't stick with them!!! Also, Sam's doesn't do alignments or any other services. So, I'm going to have to take the car to the other store to get the alignment done. This is one unhappy customer. read more
