We wanted to try a bottle of wine, and he ordered a case for us. We said we just wanted to have one bottle and he got it for us anyway. Several years ago we ordered mini bottles of wine from him for our wedding. He gave us a great price and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. Aside from all that, Jay knows just about every customer by name! He greets everyone when they come in, and treats them like gold. He is a very kind individual. They also remove the prices off their wine bottles so the bottle has a nice look if you are bringing it out or giving it as a gift. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the prices are slightly higher than the surrounding liquor stores, but not by much.

Also a cheese and snack section that was overlooked on this visit. I quickly was in the spirits section so looked at Scotches, some nice sale prices that I'll research in the future. I purchased very often from this store in the past because it is in my neighborhood and purchased multiple bottles of scotches together many times. So, I went to the store immediately (within 30 min) and requested to exchange. I had my receipt. But the store manager denied to accept and my experience/conversation with the store was not pleasant. He said that its my fault that I didn't check/open the box during purchase even though I was purchasing multiple scotches. He also highlighted that the store policy doesn't care about customer service experience. I am not a person to fight for $40-50. being a New Yorker, I'm not used to liquor stores where you can actually walk around in without…read moreknocking over a zillion bottles of hooch. hot damn. this place is spacious, clean, and organized. decent wine and hard liquor collection. we just came here to get beer for a BBQ on Sunday, though. dig past the macroswill and find a good selection of Dogfish Head, Long Trail, Magic Hat, and other American craft brews. there's a bar in the back. it was closed when we came in, but I am intrigued. do they fill up growlers? do they do animal sacrifices back there? either way, I am in to check it out next time I'm in the area.
