I moved to an Assisted Luving facility near this store August 1 and immediately began frequenting this store. The price of cigarettes was reasonable and selection was decent. I purchased an outrageously expensive $7 refillable lighter because it was very cute and went back for mire as my friends also enjoyed their look. My lighter happened to have a cracked top and a red piece missing and wouldnt work. The afterniin man, being pleasant and friendly exchanged my defective product no problem. After the hurricane we realised we had to purchase the gas because they were barely filled so off to the store i went. I purchased zippo lightet fluid not realizing there are two different types of refillable butane...fluid and gas. First off he accused ME of breaking the item and tricking his employee intobthe return. I insisted he was wrong, knowing Family Dollar didnt carry the item, i purchased the item anyway. As soon as i got to the smoking patio back home, my fellow residents informed me I bought the wrong type. We needed gas not fluid. I got back in my store and immediately returned to the store to return the fluid and purchase the more expensive gas. Well this guy went ballistic. He actually accused me of using the fluid and returning it and thats stealing. I picked uo another one and explained they weigh exactly the same and if he poured them bith in a cuo theyd be identical and Ive spent over _$500 in the past month with this man and he had the unmitigated gall ti call me a thief when i purchased the more expensive gas in exchange for the unneeded cheaper fluid. Ive never been more insulted in my life. He actually even stated if i bought a broken item from his store and wanted a return or exchange, he would call the police on me!!!! Folks this is a man who by nit standing behind the quality if his products is stealing and robbing us of our honest money! He doesnt care what he is selling us and i for one will never buy from this man again. I invite y'all to join me in not buying from this store in principal. Also, Family Dollars' cigs are much cheaper and in the same center and the staff there are really nice

In the past six months, I returned Publix brand milk, four times, which spoiled a week before the expiration date. Many of the fruits Publix calls fresh, are frozen in the center and by the next day, turned rotten. I've returned oranges, pears and other fruits more than I care to mention. A favorite of mine is eggplant which is half rotten as it's being stacked on the shelves. Unforgivable!! Prices increased substantially as the quality of many products has gone out the window. The horrible reality is Publix isn't the only guilty market. As mothers shop, you can hear the word "no" repeadely being said to children mainly because the budget won't allow extras.

While in the new Publix on Cove Road my husband asked did they have ice cream cakes and they said yes, we make them to order. I never knew they did that! Finally a true birthday cake with the ice cream of your choice. The cake was delicious and looked fabulous. White and chocolate cake layers with cookies and cream ice cream. Decorated perfect and a yummy butter cream icing, 24.99. Highly recommend.
