It was confusing because the address indicates a restaurant so you have to walk to the back of the restaurant and look for a gate that takes you into an enclosed garden-like area with prayer flags and lights. Inside t space was very comfortable: the temperature was comfortable with more than a dozen mats neatly laid out and prepared for guests. We were invited to be cleared with Rosewater spritz and feather energy. It was very intentionally and thoroughly done like an initiation into the space. It helped us feel like we had arrived and could be very present to ourselves in the space. When everyone had arrived we were oriented to the kinds of sounds we might experience as well as the state of mind, everything from moving into it transported space to falling asleep as, she pointed out, it is sometimes the thing we need the most. We were not rushed, we were invited to write our intentions. When she began, Karen was very skillful at making the Crystal bowls sing. For an hour we were transporte. I've had chronic, acute low back pain for over 10 years. I've tried pretty much everything short of…read moresurgery. I started going to Robert Weinstein 3 months ago. My back pain has improved by 95%! I was able to eliminate the mega-doses of Tylenol I was taking for pain. I've also been working with Robert on incorporating some herbal remedies to help with my asthma and hay fever. I've been able to reduce the usage of a cortico-steroid inhaler I take for asthma, and have reduced the dosage of some other medications I use for my upper respiratory allergies. From a woman's perspective, I have always found Robert's demeanor to be respectful, gentle, and professional at all times. I feel very comfortable with him. He listens when I describe my symptoms and is never dismissive. When I had a setback early on in my treatment, I could tell he was frustrated, but it wasn't directed at me. Additionally, instead of getting consent for this, he says, "And now I'll unhook your bra..." This is just creepy, for lack of a better word. As for communication difficulties, he was arrogant and rude to me when I told him his professional recommendations are not compatible with my lifestyle - I was interested in working out some type of alternative treatment plan, but instead he became defensive, rude, and acted as if I didn't care about my own health. His bedside manner is horrific, and he appears so arrogant that it took me aback. I am a paying customer, and his actions (and even his words in his new patient documents) show that he truly believes his time is more valuable and more important than his clients' time. Very, very, very disappointed. This is the worst experience I've had with a medical "professional." I originally came to him for help with my back pain because of his glowing reviews. My back pain did not improve, and I later found out through a friend who saw him for a brief period of time that he practically harasses his clients to write Yelp reviews for this practice. Such bad practice, but at least I understand where all of these positive reviews are coming from. Who wants to write a bad review for someone who is sticking needles in their body? Do not go here. RUN the other way.
