From the start, the process felt rushed and careless and Rylie had a nasty attitude. The extensions were installed with excessive tension, improper placement, and zero concern for the health of the natural hair. Within days, my daughter experienced intense scalp pain, breakage, and noticeable hair loss. Instead of enhancing her hair, this service destroyed it. She now has uneven patches, weakened strands, and damage that will take months--if not longer--to recover from. A hair extension install should never leave someone afraid to touch or brush their own hair. Final Warning Do not go to Rylie for extensions Do not trust her with your natural hair Do not ignore the red flags If you care at all about the health of your hair, take your money elsewhere. ($265) I contacted the salon the next day to ask what we could do about it and I did not hear back. I reached out to them three more times and never heard back again. Very disappointing! Due to the time of day of my visit, finding street parking was slightly challenging until I realized I should park a couple blocks up the hill. My first impression was that this is a clean and trendy place - I liked the vibe :) I had come prepared with some photos of cuts and colors. I wanted to go a little bolder, a little brighter. Becca checked out my photos and went to work. She was very thorough, leaving no hair untouched. My rinse and wash was very relaxing, and the products used smelled wonderful. I followed Maria from Neroli to her own business because I haven't ever found anyone that is this consistently good. I can tell Maria to make my hair look good, with little direction beyond that, and she picks the perfect style to suit me. And I've got fussy hair that hates to behave. It's so rare to find a stylist that can do that *and* do a great job every time. Maria is the owner and stylist and it is only her there. The place has only been open a short while, but she has years of experience. That experience shows in the quality of the work she does. She is a true hair artist. The place is quiet and relaxing, and while it only has one station, that's all it needs for only one stylist. The waiting area is laid back with a couple of comfortable chairs and a couch. Not that I've ever had to wait, but it's nice to know the option is there!
