I got adult braces from him 17 years ago. Looking back and knowing what I know now, I wish I had gone with someone else. When I had issues after my braces were taken off 9 months earlier than the initial plan (when they were paid off earlier than scheduled), they were unhelpful. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR MIDLINES!!!! I was in treatment with Dr. Demirdji for over 3 years. When it came time to remove my braces after completing my payments, I noticed my midline was off and shifting to one side. We continued with a few more visits but i wasn't seeing a difference and my midline was still off. On my last visit with Dr. D, he had some lady (not sure her name or if she's even an orthodontist because Roxy wouldn't give me her name for some reason) check out my teeth and tell me I would need surgery to fix my midline. Strange because my midline was never off before I got my braces, so I know it's not that I need surgery. I made a comment to Dr. D saying that I was unsatisfied with my treatment and that completely set him off. Telling me I was lucky he wasn't charging me for these extra visits. He was so mad that he was shaking and had to even pause what he was doing because he was so upset. I ended up leaving his office with my braces on and never went back. I went to seek a couple of 2nd opinions from other orthodontist, confirming that indeed my midline was off and it would take over a year to fix but no one will touch you without a release letter from your orthodontist, if you still have your braces on. I called there office and spoke to Roxy, receptionist/Dr.D's wife and requested a refund because now I have to pay another orthodontist to fix his mistake. They refused and sent me all the paperwork I signed. After paying $4500 to them I was still left with a shifted midline. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Not only did he ruin my smile but they are very unprofessional. They also have there son working in the office removing and placing your rubber bands but I'm not even sure he has a degree to do that. read more

Horrible office horrible staff mainly the front. My insurance sent over a referral for my son. I Phoned and made an appointment, so we show up and she proceeds to tell me they never received the referral, I have my papers luckily, but nope she won't accept those. She continues stating it has to be sent from my insurance, ok I call my insurance she speaks to them but this is still not acceptable. I ask my insurance if they can resend the referral. But the office doesn't have fax or email! WTH The orthodontist sees my son and and the lady takes me to this little side table and proceeds to tell me the cost of braces..... K great, well he needs a special this and special that. So even if they get the referral that stuff is not covered! Oh and they only take cash. Basically pass on this scam office! read more

I love this office! Two of my kids have had treatment here. Yes both contracts for their braces have been extended longer than what were written for but I'm not sure you can really know how long it will take the teeth to move? The Dr is very patient, my middle daughter has special needs and was terrified, in our third year now and she takes it like a pro but dr had to put up with a lot of craziness from my daughter to get here and he did. His wife Roxy in the front is an angel on earth, my kids can't wait to visit her every month. She lets them color and hang pictures on her walls and gives them small gifts on holidays. Let me just start by saying this family who owns and runs this office are some of the most nicest and accommodating people I have ever met. Myself and my family have been using their service for the last 6 years and I can't begin to say how thorough they were. With each family member they did a complete consultation and did not even charge us. Their prices were competitive with the first child but their payment plan was too good to turn down. Also with each additional family member we received a discount. They are open on some Saturdays as they do own two offices and on times when I needed to reschedule at the last minute they were very accommodating and even opened their office on a Saturday just to see one of my children. This is a family owned business where the wife "Roxy" runs the front desk and kindly greets everyone who comes in the office and her husband (the Orthodontist) is patient and kind to ease patients who are very nervous (as one of my children was). Their son whom is an intern and is in Dental and Orthodontist school assist them. Because of their inviting and thorough work. I have recommended many people who are also repeat costumers. Once you are a patient there you are a friend for life. I totally would recommend this office. read more

While I cannot speak to the quality of their actual treatment in this office, I will say I am very glad my daughter did not end up being a patient here. A few years ago I paid around $2000 out of pocket for my son's braces (at another office). Since I knew my daughter would also need braces and I have 2 options for dental coverage, I did my research ahead of time and selected the HMO (recommended by my benefits dept as paying the most for braces), which says the copay for treatment is $650. The insurance referred us to this office. When we arrived, Roxy said they hadn't received the paperwork, but I had a copy, so she took that. After the consultation, Roxy said I should have picked the PPO because the HMO really doesn't pay for anything. She said the palette expander is not covered at all and it is $800, the records are not covered, and she couldn't really give me any clear answer as to how much we would have to pay, but definitely over $2000 because of my horrible insurance. I questioned her about that (since I had the book that clearly outlined the fees) and asked for all the things my daughter needed and told her I would call them myself the next day. Before I could call anyone the next day, I got a message on my voicemail saying "Actually, the doctor is very busy right now and decided not to take any new patients." This was after we waited months for a referral and after the dr. offered to start treatment that same day! Luckily, the insurance switched the facility for the referral rather easily and we had a consultation with Dr. Ketcherside in Redlands. After my daughter's consultation, Brittney said "Your insurance is awesome! The treatment is $2450, your insurance covers $1800, all you have to pay for the entire two year treatment is $650." This included the records and the expander! I was so relieved. However, I'm also outraged that others, like this office, are ripping people off. I'm a single mom with 4 kids--shame on this office! The connotation of dr/patient is of caring and concern for patients' best interest--too bad some see it as a chance to take advantage of people. read more
