My friends Zach and Jenn just had their wedding here. It was absolutely beautiful. The area they had the ceremony is this wooded circle covered in mulch. The trees all around give a feel of seclusion. The reception hall was nice and had very good AC. A little small for the amount of guests but other than that, it was wonderful. read more

Went to a wedding reception here, however the full wedding was somewhere else. First the food was decent, brisket was excellent, potatoes were ok and the pecan encrusted chicken was average. The building where the reception was at feels like it hadn't been updated since the mid-70's. Not a terrible place, but the location was right for everyone. Nothing really stood out to me from a facility standpoint, but the decorations the wedding party chose looked very nice. read more

The setting of this venue is very beautiful and wonderful for an outdoor wedding. The building was dressed up very nicely and kept nice and cool, which was great for 100 degree weather. Dodi was very helpful and knowledgeable, and helped our wedding flow through even with tiny glitches. My only frustration with this venue was the rehearsal had to be on Thursday because they had another wedding Friday night. But that's very minor in a stream of events. If you choose this place, I suggest having the ceremony in the evening, like 6 p.m. so the shade has come around the chapel. read more

My husband and I had our wedding and reception at Samuel Cedars a month ago. It is an absolutely beautiful place for a wedding. The scenery is remarkably gorgeous, and the ambiance is exceptionally romantic. However, the owners, as well as the catering service, was disappointingly unprofessional. They were gone during the rehearsal, giving us no access to the reception hall, chairs for grandparents, or restrooms. They also were very poor in communicating with my mother and me while we were making arrangements. An hour before the ceremony, my husband's father had to forcefully express that we had paid for more seats than were set up. Additionally, the catering service also poorly communicated arrangements. The food provided was decent, and good for very hungry people, but for the price we paid, we were very disappointed. read more
