I'm a lawyer and in this business your laptop is everything, Mark has saved my laptop time after time. While I was in law school, I had to complete certain summer internships to graduate. During one of my summer internships I was required to have a local IT company (which I will call IMPACT) download software onto my laptop, as it was the IT company the firm I was working for used. After my summer internship, IMPACT's software destroyed my laptop and made it non-functional, and I was not in a position to purchase a new laptop (and this laptop has certain sentimental value). IMPACT subsequently refused to repair the damage they did to my laptop after the summer internship ended, saying that, since the summer contract for my laptop ended, "it sounds like a YOU problem." At the time most of the damage manifested, I was back out at law school in Boise, Idaho. I called up Dimension X and Mark Carrol was able to get into my laptop remotely from Maryland where he made it so my laptop would stop crashing long enough for me to finish out the semester. When I returned that summer (summer of 2018) Mark did a full reconditioning of my laptop and it was better than new. That summer, the firm I was working for fired IMPACT and hired Dimensions X and LOVED THEM! Whenever the firm had an issue, Mark could simply resolve the issue without even having to set foot in the firm (yeah, he is that good). Fast-forward to 2020, and my laptop began to display signs of normal wear and age. I honestly thought that my laptop was just needing to be replaced as they do not last forever. Not to mention the fact that I spent 11-14 hours a day on my laptop, 7 days a week for 4 years. The laptop was really struggling, was slow, and the fans would come on like she was straining to keep up (it also had issues with legal research results which I won't bore you with herein). When I called up Mark to see which laptop I should purchase next, he told me that he believed that he could service my current laptop and make her shine once again. He came and picked up my laptop last Thursday and, sure enough, I just got my laptop back today (05-19-2020) and Mark did not fail to impress, once again. My laptop is running like I just took it out of the HP box; just like when I first bought her in 2016. Whether you are a law firm or other type of company where computers are integral to the operation of your business, I highly recommend this company. Mark will not make up excuses or try to "write off" your technology concerns. He will vigorously search until he discovers the problem and fixes it. In my case, Mark discovered that my virus software was causing my laptop's issues, I never would have thought of that in a million years. The virus software was causing my legal search results to come back inaccurate, as it was messing with the online search engine. This was a new issue because I have been using the same virus software for four years. However, it now makes perfect sense because these issues all started right after I purchased and downloaded the annual 1-year license, so it must have been something with this years updated license that caused the problem.

I posted this review once and had to remove it because Justin Kelly, the owner of IMPACT found out where I worked and started engaging in harassing phone calls to my employers in attempts to get me terminated from my employment. When I finally sent Mr. Kelly a Cease and Desist Letter--to which I will try to attach here--I was able to repost my review. After which, IMPACT was able to get the google review removed. Please keep in mind, that this organization did not have any google reviews until I posted my one-star review and was forced to remove it; which makes me seriously question the genuiness and authenticity of the 5 star reviews for this company--all of which were suspiciously posted in a few months' time-span. I'm a lawyer that just passed the bar exam July 2019. In summer of 2017 the law firm I did my externship at used this technology group for their law firms IT. Prior to using this organizations service, I was very happy with the laptop I had gotten for law school, my family was poor and many family members pitched in so I could purchase a really nice laptop to use while at law school. As part of my externship, I also had to have my laptop interconnected with IMPACTs software. Our firm paid a substantial amount of money each month for my laptop to be interconnected. After my externship was complete, I contacted IMPACT to make an appointment for their software to be removed, they informed me that the software would be removed automatically and I did not need to do anything else. Their software was never removed and when I went back to school my laptop started having severe malfunctioning. I tried to contact them for help, but the staff wouldn't return my calls. I tried everything to remove their software but couldn't.. my once brand new and amazing piece of technology became completely inoperable. This was upsetting as I always used to take good care of my laptop and downloaded the best malware onto it... my laptop was crashing and restarting constantly to the point I couldn't even use it. When it did work it was super slow. I tried and tried to contact impact but they refused to help. When I came home for Christmas break I took the laptop to IMPACT and spoke with the manager whom I explained the situation. He removed the IMPACT software off my laptop and told me as soon as I went home and ran a certain program my laptop would go back to the way it was prior to their software being placed on it. I did exactly what the manager--named Jake--told me to do. I went home and ran the program only to find out it was a sham to get me out of their office. My once amazing and lightening fast laptop now was still restarting and shuttering and completely inoperable... surely this was a misunderstanding and the IMPACT group would help fix this right?? Well, I called them back and spoke to the secretary and I asked to speak to the man Jake. I explained the situation to the IMPACT secretary who did not let me speak to Jake but relayed my message to him. She got back on the phone line and stated "I just spoke to him [Jake] and he said 'our software is off your laptop now... if you are still having problems it sounds like a YOU problem'" I then informed the IMPACT team member that this laptop was purchased for my law school and as a apart of good business it should be returned to me the way it was when IMPACT started messing with it, I also explained my disgust for the way impact does business and the way they treated me as a customer. The team member responded with something to the effect of "we don't care." It makes me so mad because many people who were close to me pitched in so that I could go to law school with a nice working laptop, which I took really, really good care of, now it was completely destroyed by the dishonesty and incompetence of this organization
