Donna did my wedding flowers and she was absolutely amazing!! Very reasonable price for my wedding party flowers. She helped me choose flowers that were the same look but a little less pricey. I showed her a few pics of the styles I wanted blended together and she nailed it. Serioulsy, my wedding flowers were amazing. On the day of the wedding my parents picked up the flowers but when they got to the venue, we found that one of the boutonnieres was missing from the order. I also had a one of my bridesmaids show up unexpectedly from Australia (she originally didn't think she could make it). I called Donna and she had the boutonniere ready was also able to quickly make me another bouquet. She was so awesome, had amazing customer service, and really took care of everything. My husband bought me some flowers about a week ago and had them delivered to our home. Apparently, they were dropped off without my knowledge or anyone else's and where sitting out by the door for about 2-3hours. A call would have been great, considering the business is just a few minutes away from my home. To say the least, the flowers where expensive and only lasted about 4days ( could have lasted longer if they werent left outside in the heat to begin with). I just called this florist with the intention of ordering a large floor spray for a friend's funeral. The phone was hastily answered by a woman with "hello?" instead of the business name. I had to ask to make sure I had reached the correct number. I explained that I was ordering a sympathy arrangement, and she curtly replied, "okay," and it sounded like she had food in her mouth. I hung up. This is not how you greet customers on the phone, and certainly not with an uncaring attitude. I was prepared to spend a good sum on an arrangement, but now another company will get my business. read more

Our staff wanted to buy our boss a flower arrangement. I called Samuel's before 8:00am and told them of a flower arrangement I saw on Proflowers that was $50 and that's what we wanted. The girl who took the order looked it up and said they could do that. They were true to their word about getting it here before noon, but it was 4 roses and some carnations. I needed a beautiful arrangement for my grandmother during her hospital stay but was concerned about the flowers not arriving before an impending transfer to hospice care. I requested a vase of roses to be delivered the same day. Since we live in VA, I asked my grandmother's caregiver to take a picture of the flowers & send it to me, so that I could see what I paid for. The arrangement was stunning! I went to Samuels for am arrangement for valentine's day, and I asked that the arrangement be non-valentiney and within a specific budget. Nayiba was on the job! She told me to pick a couple colors that I liked and come back in 2 hours. When I came back, I was amazed. I wish I'd taken a picture, it was one of the most beautiful arrangements within that price that I've ever seen. I don't know if she decided to throw in more out of the kindness of her heart or if their arrangements are normally as extravagant but I know where I'll be going for flowers from now on, even when I don't live in the area anymore!
