There's nothing like a local wet market to keep you alive while giving you insight onto the community you're currently in. I'm here every weekend, usually Saturday morning, to stock up for the week ahead. Note that this isn't one integrated public market - it's a network of pop-up kiosks along San Andres, with the bulk of the produce between the intersections of Leon Guinto and Singalong.
You'll see everything you need here: fresh meat, fish, vegetables, sundries, etc. There are even small groceries for your dry goods.
