For $6,000.00 with $3,000.00 down payment. I informed Ed and Melissa Mitchell that I wanted to watch the porch demo. I was told that work would start at 9:30am on Thur. Sep.12,2024. I was on site at 10:00am. The crew did not show up until 12:00pm. When they arrived they ate lunch and started work at 1:00pm. I sat in my truck, which I parked across the street, beginning at 10:00am when I arrived and watched the whole time. Instead of demoing the porch they worked on installing the 4x4 post. By around 2:30pm I became concerned that they were not demoing the porch. I called Melissa and asked what was going on and she told me Ed had decided to go another way. Ed had not come with the crew and I asked to talk to him. Melissa informed me Ed was running late, but was on his way. Edward arrived at 3:00pm. I told him I wanted to know what was going on and he informed me he just wanted to put a 4 inch cap on the porch. I told him that is not what I wanted and that was not our agreement. He then started to try and convince me that he had done it at another location and it worked out ok and that he would give me a lifetime warranty. I told him no, I wanted what we had agreed to. Ed then stated that he could have his crew start over, but he was going to lose all the man hrs. his crew had already did and that he would have to redo the four 4x4 post. He keep on telling me how good the cap was and that he would give me a lifetime warranty. I told him a lifetime warranty would not do me any good if he died or went out of business. Ed had not mentioned anything about reducing the price of $6,000.00. I stated that if he just did a cap he was going to use a lot less materials and labor and that he would have to reduce the price. He stated he could reduce it by $300.00. I stated that he would have to do a lot better than that. He then stated he could reduce it by $500.00. I told him I would have to think about it. I went inside the house and made a phone call to a friend who has some building experience and he stated he did not think the cap would hold up account the porch is hollow underneath. I went outside and told Ed I did not want the cap. Ed started the routine about how he put a cap on another porch and how well it worked and the lifetime warranty. He keeps at it until I finally agree to just the cap, but I told him he would have to reduce the price by $1000.00, which Ed agrees to. By now it is about 3:30pm and I go home. Ed stated that it was too late to pour concrete and they would leave by 5:00pm. The next morning I get up at 8:00am, I did not sleep very well account I felt I was not only talked into just a cap, but that the cap was not going to last account of the porch Ed was going to put the cap on was hallow underneath. Then I realized if Ed put a 4 inch cap on, the step would be 11 inches high. I called Melissa and told her they would have to add another step to comply with code. She said they already reduced the price by $1,000.00 and that if I wanted another step I would have to pay for it. My cousin was having some concrete work done at his house, so I called and talked to the man doing the work. I explained what was going on and did he think it was ok to put a cap on a porch that was hollow underneath. He said no, but it would be better if he looked at it. I told him I would pay him to look at it and that I could pick him up and take him to the site. I picked up Mr. Guzman who is a Master Brick Mason and took him to the site. After looking over the site, he stated that the material that was on Ed's work trailer was a light mix used for stucco. He also stated that if you were going to try and hold together a failing porch with a cap you would need 12 inches not 4. Now I feel like I have been scammed. Ed made a decision to go from what was in the contract to just a cap without so much as a phone call. We went from a complete demo and rebuild to a 4 inch cap of stucco on top of a failing porch that is hollow underneath. I called Ed and told him I no longer trusted him and I had lost all faith in him. I also told him I did not want him to do any further work. Ed's reply was that he had $3,500 invested, but he was good guy and would let the $500.00 slide. Your crew worked 4 hrs. on the Sep.12,2024 and 2-hrs on the Sep.13, 2024. You are a crook and I do not see how you sleep at night. Thank God sent an angel to lead me to Mr. Guzman before I ended up with a 4 inch stucco cap.

I contacted Bondoc Roofing and asked them to come out to discern if the damage was within their scope of repair. While here, they also evaluated our roof. Despite being fairly new, they discovered a few loose shingles, some vents that were improperly installed and not booted, and a portion of our gutter system that needed cleaning and a leaf guard installation. Bondoc was able to repair all these issues to perfection, but it was not just that they did a good job that was impressive. Owner, Michael Osinskie, is clearly a man that has thought about delivering a top-notch consumer experience. Every staff member that I interacted with from Kylie to Dylan, Rovy and more were infectiously positive, caring and delivered a highly professional experience. They provided me with a polished portfolio at their initial visit, along with high resolution photos of the problem areas mentioned above. We had solar panels installed in late February, about a week after Bondoc's fantastic roof tune-up. Sadly, we developed a leak at one of the panel installation sites which became apparent when water burst through our ceiling this past Thursday night after an intense storm. This was no fault of Bondoc's and most likely occurred during the panel installation process. The solar company's damages team was off site responding to emergency needs out of state, and would not be able to make the repair before the following week. With more inclement weather forecasted over the weekend, I reached out to Bondoc again. These lovely people treated me like family, and came to my immediate rescue. Dylan squeezed me in to their already tight same-day schedule, took photos of the damage, and covered the affected area which, again, gave me tremendous peace of mind. He came to the house and gave me a Great military discount. We discussed the work in phases and he even recommended some areas that did not require painting to reduce costs. His vision for my home was amazing and he was professional and very passionate about his work. His crew was dependable and on time and experts at their craft. Mike completed the staining of my fence, touch ups to my door and created the beautiful accent walls you see in the ceilings and back walls. He also was responsible for any crown molding you see. The builder painted the entire home a sort of sand and Mike helped me to Create the Bold look I was going for. I have posted the pictures of my home on Facebook and the reviews from my friends confirm that contracting Mike for this job was the smartest decision I could have made. I used sticker-brand decals to accent the walls and Bedroom and I believe they came out nicely on top of what Mike completed. Amber then lied and claimed there were "several" attempts to repair my fence. There were two attempts- one of which the roof was being repaired and it was too hazardous of an environment to come and the 2nd attempt they showed up with the wrong materials. They only call around 3:30pm and ask if they can come at that time- no advance notice. The repairman that was sent with the wrong materials the 2nd time was really kind and told me that he brought it up for weeks and the office staff kept sending him to other jobs. This is important for those considering Superior Fence: Amber then said that Superior Fence does not make repairs DURING the warranty period rather, they only make repairs at the END of the warranty period all at once. In other words, I- or you- will have to wait 12 months or however long your negotiated warranty period is to have any covered repairs completed. These unique terms are not on the contract and never shared with me until over a month after I brought my concerns to their attention. Only upon elevating my concerns due to the lack of response did Amber share this. Have you ever heard of a company that will not provide service until your warranty expires? I am stuck with a cedar fence that warps due to the sun and it will continue to happen for the life of the fence. Roger advised me that cedar is most durable and suitable for the TX heat. I paid a premium for this type of material. I don't know what they did to my fence and I have been asking for the owner to contact me and offer me assurance that the company will handle my concerns- yet to no avail. Short version: Overpriced with poor communication…read more Long version: I had a couple quotes for a fence from different companies. One was a small local contractor who was a couple thousand cheaper but I have spent the last year working with a very small contractor on my home renovation, and it's been frustrating so I decided to go with a bigger name even though it cost more. The fence itself would be fine except, on the one side that is most visible to the road it comes to a point in the middle and has 2 short panels which is different then the rest of the fence. They started installing post at both ends and met in the middle. I questioned the crew who were very nice, but could speak very limited English in the middle of the second day why there was two post only two feet away in the middle of the fence line, but he just said that's how it worked out. He did move it to be centered so instead of a 6 foot/2 foot panel it's now a 4ft/4ft. Aesthetically it looks ok now. If he had put a 2 foot panel in it would have looked terrible. Either way, this review would have been different if I felt communication from the agent (Steve) was better. First off, he told me they had plenty of stock in the product I choose. I sign the contract and pay half. No communication as promised the next week. I leave a message and the following week he calls back. He says the product I ordered is now out of stock because a big company bought it all and it would be 2 months unless I wanted to upgrade. It was only $350 more and I wanted to get it done so I went with it. Then during the job I called with concerns that the 2 posts were 2 feet apart in the middle of the fence. His reply is that he will come the next morning but there's really nothing can be done since the post were already in the ground. First I think that's an unacceptable answer especially considering the rails weren't attached, etc. The crew end up working late that night. I tried calling again and it went to his VM. The crew then shows up early the next morning and finishes it. I see his vehicle at the edge of my property after they finish. I thought he had come to talk to me but he didn't knock, call, text, etc and I probably wouldn't have made it to his car before he left. Either way he clearly didn't feel the need to contact me despite me calling twice with concerns.
