Luckily, iTech was one of them. I brought my laptop in immediately Monday morning and was greeted by Tony, who was very kind and patient. He explained the best and worst case scenarios thoroughly, and their pricing is more than fair for the top-tier service and EXTREMELY quick turnaround time- just a few days! Super knowledgeable and kind team. My MacBook is good as new now with a new keyboard, and I'll definitely be coming back to iTech for any future issues with my electronics. Thank you, Tony and team!

Henry was great, worked for a couple of weeks trying to float the solder on the ram memory chips to no avail and then needing to order a replacement logic board. After a logic board replacement and new battery and a thorough cleaning, my MacBookPro worked flawlessly and looked brand new. Cost $200 for parts and $250 for labor. The price was very reasonable and the quality of the repair 1st class! They kept me notified of each step in the process and their costs, always asking for permission before proceeding. I highly recommend iTech for difficult Apple lap-top service needs. This is a magical repair shop!!! James S.

Instead of weighing in the long line at the mall, I chose to bring my computer to Crywolf and I am glad that I did. If something happens to your Apple computer. The typical process as you have to find a reservation time and wait sometimes over a week for the Repair to start and if you're like me a week without a computer is way too long. With Crywolf, you can actually just call them and they can get you right in. They take walk-ins. The guys are very friendly knowledgeable, and communicate communicated very well. Of getting my screen replaced if you bring to an Apple Store they will just take your computer and mail it somewhere, but Crywolf does the repairs in house they will most likely have to order your parts but for me they let me keep my computer while the part was being shipped and when the part arrived, they let me know and was able to get my computer back after only three hours at the shop, which is great because my entire business runs on the computer and downtime is not an option. I highly recommend you get your Apple Service by these guys you wont regret it!

I found them via the Apple Service portal and I was able to get an appointment the same day. I later learned that they take walk-ins... so good to know for the future! Anyway, the machine went in on a Wednesday and I picked it up on Monday. The team was friendly throughout the process and seemed glad to hear from each day I checked in on the status of things. Major thanks to Gale for getting the work done quickly and professionally! The entire computer looks brand new, even though the only replaced the keyboard. Highly recommend.

Also, they are under NEW management and, they have revamped all of the staff that were the problem, including Jesse in my previous review. We discussed much in our PM's and, his efforts to make things right were admirable and, excellent customer service orientated. Now, even though I am purchasing a Tablet and have no need for the lap top that needed the battery, I still feel it is the right thing to do by penning a 5 Star update for Scott's excellent customer service and, discretion. I do not see that very much these days anymore and, for that Scott, I thank you very much! My fellow Yelpers, for PC or other technological & electronic needs this is your go to store for [them] in this area. I'm going to keep them as my #1 Portable Source (if you will) for all of those needs when I'm in San Diego and, I highly recommend you do the same. The Manger there is Jim, and he will take good care of you. Scott, I'm the one, your the one, Portable Source is the one, just like the song says, "What's in your neighborhood, You're the One: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlMSkkTJVBo

I was told that the price I am paying would be applied towards repair, however they never repaired my comp. So I essentially paid $50 bucks to have them confirm something I already knew...and the guys who gave me my comp back wasn't sure if the guy who looked at it was going to actually put the part I needed into my comp, just felt unprofessional but maybe I am giving it too much thought. I am sure they haven't disappointed others, but for me, kinda.
