By far and away, the most disgusting, repulsive, lying personality I've ever dealth with. Everything I say here is backed up by hard evidence. The guy scheduled appointment with me for phone battery replacement. Said he'd need to get some glue for this and assured me he'd get - appointment was 5 days away. On the morning of the appointment, a couple of hours before I had to come over, I shot him a quick message to confirm he got the glue. He said No and said the phone repair is high risk and he didn't wanna do it. I told him this is my only phone, I need to use it a lot for calls and meetings, and it's kind of dying. I asked him if he knew he's not gonna do the battery swap, why did he take the job, sat on the appointment for 5 days, and didnt reach out? If I hadnt contacted him I would have come over for the appointment he was never going to honor. He started getting defensive, and started lying to my face about "telling me he needed parts", then he started accusing me of "threatening him", being rude to him and started threatening me himself. He started telling me he'll report my account to Yelp and that he'll sue me. After I politely asked him to go away and leave me alone TWICE, the guy kept messaging me over and over, while telling me I'm harassing him... He gave me "final warning from Franchitti's Fix LLC". I stopped talking to him and he kept sending me harassing and threatening Yelp messages, and another one just arrived, while I'm writing this very review. I'm a busy person, and don't often post Yelp reviews, but I felt with how much of a piece of work this guy is it's worth my time to warn others, because I'd hate to see innocent people walking away with the horrible feeling in their stomach, after wasting days on this guy, like I did. If you're scheduling an appointment with him - know that it means nothing to him, and he's most likely not gonna honor it. If you will "have the nerve" to ask him why he's not doing the job he took on, or confront him why he took the appointment and wasted many days of your time waiting for it, without telling you he has no intention to do the job - expect to be lied to your face about appointment being scheduled in the first place, expect to be threatened with being reported to Yelp, and to be sued. After you try to gracefully extract yourself from the conversation, and take your business elsewhere and put this guy behind you - expect him to continue harassing you with Yelp messages and threatening you for a while longer, in order to get a rise out of you and make you say something he could use to accuse you of misconduct, while he's simultaneously accusing *you* of harassing, disrespecting and threatening him. Alternatively, if you have a shred of common sense - STAY AWAY, and DON'T EVER CONTACT this guy in the first place. The choice is yours. EDIT: This is an edit in response to business owner's reply. Apparently, asking him about the glue he said he needed and would get is considered "hostile or disrespectful behavior", because right after he said he doesnt have it on the morning of the appointment, and I asked him why he made me wait 5 days and didn't tell me he's not gonna do the job, he started saying phone is "high risk", because it's thin and foldable. Don't be hostile to him, y'all - don't ask him why he's refusing to do the job, when you wait for days and come over for a scheduled, and confirmed appointment. This guy can lie all he wants, but one thing he cannot do is tamper with the evidence - he does not have access to modify chat history.

I found this business through the employee Martin on Facebook. I had a broken tablet screen and came to drop it off at the balboa location. I received back my tablet, with a new faulty screen and had to return the next day to have it fixed again. I expected some priority to have it completed as it was already paid and given back to me broken. 4 days have passed and I had no communication about my tablet, nor any responses to my calls or texts. After visiting the store on Saturday only to see a sign stating they are closed the next 4 days I began to panic. Again no answer to texts or calls. Then I finally received a call that it would be fixed in about an hour. Three hours pass and again no communication and my calls are now to voicemail. This was my work and school tablet I already had to wait a week to have been 'fixed' now appearing to be stolen It wasn't till after I threatened to arrive to the location with the police did I finally receive my tablet back. I then took it to the fix it repair section at Walmart and had it fixed and returned to me in 3 hours without any drama or having my tablet nearly stolen. Edit: rather than the owner trying to figure out what happened and remedy the situation, he responded with my claims being false and drama. Why would I lie to attempt to create drama with a business I have no relations with. I just needed my tablet fixed. My review stands at a 1 for sketchy business service and rude response from owner. I have screenshots and text messages evidence of communications. My review stands I was told the business does not communicate through FB. The screenshots provided show the conversation telling me to bring it to the balboa location. I'm assuming since I was contacted through FB messenger by the employee, there was no record of my item through the store, allowing for him to put on a faulty screen and nearly steal my item. The screenshot shows me to arrive to the balboa location. I believed I was receiving service through the location and not the employee doing it on his own on the side. Tony is absolutely wonderful! One might have second thoughts about a stranger coming to meet you to fix your phone, but Tony is very nice and extremely professional! I was recommended to him by 3 of my co-workers who all had their screens repaired by Tony. He came to my work and fixed my phone in less than 20 minutes. He sent me a couple texts letting me know his status (an hour away, and then 5 minutes away), which made it very convenient for me. He came in, sat down and went right to work. Not only is he really nice and does quality work, but he's very affordable - when I went to AT&T to ask them about a replacement they said I was going to have to buy a whole new phone (Which was well over $200!) Tony charges $50 if you go to him in Clairemont and $60 for him to come to you! I definitely recommend Tony to anyone who needs their screen repaired!! I was watching him take my phone apart, and you can tell this man knew what he was doing - I was amazed. He told me he's done it over 1200 times! Let's go again. Took my phone to fix in this horrible store. Besides not being able to fix it, they damaged the camera and replaced with and older model camera. Plus damaged the phone case and said "they could't do anything about that". When I complained, Tony harassed me and called me many things I won't list here. Also, when you do a negative review, he exposes your information here as a form of intimidation so that you don't complain about his business. And here is my opinion that the owner, Tony, is trying to put it down. I'll come here and post again and again. People should know what this business is about: To the owner, all bad reviews are lies. Insults, words of disrespect and acting like a temper tantrum are a common reaction from the owner. The way he respond the bad reviews shows the real character and company policies, even when the reviews are addressing real issues, showing proofs and being respectful, or if the customer is frustrated with their issues with the company. I went to iTech last Tuesday to replace a shattered iPhone 5s screen. Tony took a look at the phone and set to work on the repair immediately. He pulled the dents out of the frame and replaced the screen with precision. 15 minutes later my phone looked like new. Tony was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional and also charged me half of what others quoted. Tony's shop is meticulously clean and he only works with high end equipment. I learned that he repairs an array of electronics and even repairs circuit boards. Other pros bring him work when they don't have the equipment or the expertise to do the job themselves. A day after the screen replacement, my speaker mic stopped working so I brought the phone back in. Tony diagnosed the problem within a minute and had it replaced in 5 min. I offered to pay him for the part but Tony stood by his original work and replaced the mic for free. If you want expert level electronics repair from a true professional, give Tony a call! read more

I was recommended to Tony about 6 months ago. Let me tell you he is awesome/amazing. I am a mother of two and with that comes accidents. My phone has cracked in more ways then one and not all at the same time. Whenever my phone has been unable to work I can contact Tony from anywhere and it seems at anytime. Tony is fast not to mention quick to fix the phone right where you meet him. With total count he has fixed my phone about 6 times and now I just gave him on ipad. No words can describe Tony other than life saver/time saver. I once was even at the apple store waiting and then contacted him and lol I took a customer from apple with me and he also fixed her phone right after mine! Tony Tone Fix My Phone is Mr. ASAP! The owner was not only professional and friendly but also demonstrated remarkable perseverance and determination in restoring my device. There were multiple issues regarding shorts and overheating making it difficult to extract the data which appeared to be corrupted. However, after exhausting multiple avenues of approach the data was able to be extracted intact! Phenominal micro small business owner. Great service. Attention to detail. Very competitive price. Quality driven technician. He let me watch the entire disassembly of my iPhone, the screen replacement and that means he is very confident. My iPhone 6Plus with a completely cracked up screen on a Saturday afternoon, and at 3:30pm I called but did not leave a message. The owner calls me me back in 30 seconds and asks how he can help me. I explained the cracked iPhone and he said he would stay open late if I wanted to drive to his office/shop. I did just that. iTech was awesome they saved my ass!! my iPhone 8+ was suffering form broken charge port and cracked screen- I bought the parts on Amazon- I tried replacing my screen and charge port I've done it a few times successfully, when assembling the connector from charge port would not snap into motherboard port- I dropped my cell off at iTech Tony showed me a blow up of the ports damage and possible damage I caused by using wrong screw on a motherboard and possibly drilling a hole thru it! I received a call next day saying my phone was ready for pick up! They showed my the part I bought from Amazon how it was defective and a counterfeit that had the Apple logo printed on it- Amazon is selling BOGUS parts! iTech replaced the part with correct part and my 8+ has been working since- thanks guys!! read more

This is the 3rd place that I brought my phone to. This first place said I need a new battery and said my problem will be fine. The second place put my phone in some machine? I had to pay both of these places for zero results. Let me tell you what happened. I have a habit of sticking my phone in my shirt. Well, I accidentally dropped it into my daughters bath water and rice did not fix my phone. I tried everything, it just would not work. None of these other guys seemed to know either. Took my phone in to see Tony. He says that it is not that bad and said he was pretty sure he could fix it. The next day my phone was fixed and I could not be any happier. Tony was just visiting Texas and my friend recommended him to me after she got her Mac computer and iPhone fixed. I asked Tony if he was free to fix my ipad2. He was so pleasant and knowledgable over the phone. His prices were the lowest and honestly after viewing other options I felt I trusted Tony the best. Not only did he fix my ipad2 but also my laptop!! Geek squad was going to fix my laptop for over $300 and it would take over a week! Tony had it to me in a couple of hours!! It was just in time!! Incredible service! The staff is so well versed and informative and kind. They helped me figure out what was wrong with my phone within seconds and then fixed it with such convenience to the customer. I had my screen completely shattered and my phone was calling and tapping on its own. They fixed my phone perfectly. During a failed attempt to rescue our MacBook Air from a deluge of spilled ice water, the MacBook was knocked to the brick floor underneath. Talk about ridiculous... Spash then smash. Several minutes later we tried a startup. It flashed a few times, then nothing but dreaded darkness... But a couple days later, Tony gave us hope. Tony said iTech had good success with these types of repairs in the past. So I left it with them and a few days later I get the call to pick-up. I broke my phone yesterday morning, not just a cracked screen, but everything only showed up as a bunch as a bunch of blue stripes when I tried turning it on. I was pretty distraught about it. I went to the Apple store for help and they made me wait 3 hours, and then finally told me there's nothing they can do, and that anywhere else I go is going to cost $150. Today I went on Yelp and found Tony, drove over to his shop which is barely a mile from my house, and he said he can fix the whole thing within 20-30 minutes. $45 for the front, $10 for the back. All I can say is WOW! I dropped my iphone and it got a massive crack on the screen. I couldn't read or see anything incoming. I did an online search to find someone. I called these guys and they said to come in. I dropped the phone off and the guy said he'd have it done in 40 minutes. Since I didn't have another phone, I waited in front of his store. It couldn't have been more than 10 minutes and he peeked out the window and gave me a thumbs up indicating it was all done. The price and the service were really great. Yet another easy experience using Tony to repair our screens (yes, both my wife and I broke our screens yet again). He also fished out a broken headset jack out of my daughter's iPad using crazy glue and a q-tip - total MacGyver move (did I date myself with that reference?). Now that he has a shop, I got to see other projects he's working on - it turns out other repair shops subcontract jobs to him that are too difficult for their crews. I was in PB last Saturday walking the boardwalk and some drunk girl waved her hand upwards -BAM- right into my phone. It went flying smack down on its face. It was only a hairline crack and wasn't that bad. But after a few days that one crack turned into a spider web of falling out glass. Scotch Tape only held so long before I couldn't stand it any longer. Quick, easy going, & honest. What more can could one ask for? The price is right and so was the job. Just got my phone fixed by Tony Tone. Great job on fixing my smashed corner. Totally looks like it never happened!!! I previously had a cracked phone for awhile until I lost the touch functionality. I was going to try to do it myself, but it looked way too complicated. I brought my own part that I got online and Tony was able to explain to me that I got the wrong part and what I had was not compatible with my phone. By far and away, the most disgusting, repulsive, lying personality I've ever dealth with. Everything I say here is backed up by hard evidence. The guy scheduled appointment with me for phone battery replacement. Said he'd need to get some glue for this and assured me he'd get - appointment was 5 days away. On the morning of the appointment, a couple of hours before I had to come over, I shot him a quick message to confirm he got the glue. He said No and said the phone repair is high risk and he didn't wanna do it. I told him this is my only phone, I need to use it a lot for calls and meetings, and it's kind of dying. I asked him if he knew he's not gonna do the battery swap, why did he take the job, sat on the appointment for 5 days, and didnt reach out? If I hadnt contacted him I would have come over for the appointment he was never going to honor. He started getting defensive, and started lying to my face about "telling me he needed parts", then he started accusing me of "threatening him", being rude to him and started threatening me himself. He started telling me he'll report my account to Yelp and that he'll sue me. After I politely asked him to go away and leave me alone TWICE, the guy kept messaging me over and over, while telling me I'm harassing him... He gave me "final warning from Franchitti's Fix LLC". I stopped talking to him and he kept sending me harassing and threatening Yelp messages, and another one just arrived, while I'm writing this very review. I'm a busy person, and don't often post Yelp reviews, but I felt with how much of a piece of work this guy is it's worth my time to warn others, because I'd hate to see innocent people walking away with the horrible feeling in their stomach, after wasting days on this guy, like I did. If you're scheduling an appointment with him - know that it means nothing to him, and he's most likely not gonna honor it. If you will "have the nerve" to ask him why he's not doing the job he took on, or confront him why he took the appointment and wasted many days of your time waiting for it, without telling you he has no intention to do the job - expect to be lied to your face about appointment being scheduled in the first place, expect to be threatened with being reported to Yelp, and to be sued. After you try to gracefully extract yourself from the conversation, and take your business elsewhere and put this guy behind you - expect him to continue harassing you with Yelp messages and threatening you for a while longer, in order to get a rise out of you and make you say something he could use to accuse you of misconduct, while he's simultaneously accusing *you* of harassing, disrespecting and threatening him. Alternatively, if you have a shred of common sense - STAY AWAY, and DON'T EVER CONTACT this guy in the first place. The choice is yours. EDIT: This is an edit in response to business owner's reply. Apparently, asking him about the glue he said he needed and would get is considered "hostile or disrespectful behavior", because right after he said he doesnt have it on the morning of the appointment, and I asked him why he made me wait 5 days and didn't tell me he's not gonna do the job, he started saying phone is "high risk", because it's thin and foldable. Don't be hostile to him, y'all - don't ask him why he's refusing to do the job, when you wait for days and come over for a scheduled, and confirmed appointment. If your iPhone goes into Recovery Mode and you don't have a recent backup... all hope is not lost…read more Take your finger off the Restore button and bring your iPhone to Kyle at Logic Fix. I was absolutely panicking because I had recent photos and other important data that hadn't been backed up yet. (I manually back up my photos to an external hard drive, and I hadn't done so in about a month.) The day before, I was at the beach and my phone got splashed with a little water. It was never dropped or submerged, but around midday it went into Recovery Mode. I couldn't find anyone willing to even discuss whether it might be a hardware issue. Over and over, I was told my only option was to restore the phone to factory settings... even at the Apple Store. I found data recovery companies online, but they were expensive and would have required shipping my iPhone across the country for an unknown amount of time. Thankfully, the team at DC Computers recommended Logic Fix. Kyle took one look at my situation and explained that, because of the water exposure, there was a good chance it was a hardware issue. He was honest from the beginning and made no guarantees. He explained that if the memory chip had been damaged, my data might not be recoverable, but he knew what to look for before telling me to erase everything. In my case, he found and replaced a failed sensor, and in probably less than half an hour my iPhone was back to normal with all of my data intact. To him it was no big deal, but to me it meant getting back priceless photos, voice memos, documents, and everything else I thought I might have lost. He also charged a very fair price. What impressed me most wasn't just that he fixed the phone ... it was that he understood preserving my data was more important than simply getting the phone working again. Instead of immediately recommending a factory restore, he took the time to diagnose the actual problem first. I really hope I don't need another iPhone repair anytime soon, but if I do, Logic Fix will be my first stop. TL;DR: Kyle is honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. While everyone else I spoke with recommended restoring my iPhone to factory settings, Kyle looked for the underlying hardware problem first. He quoted me a two-day turnaround, had my phone repaired in under an hour, saved all of my data, and charged a fair price. I couldn't recommend Logic Fix more highly!!
