No meditation classes if you're wondering. But you can make an appointment for one on one. Or watch online videos from them.

It was good to visit this place. We can learn Thai culture and Buddhist ways. Also, you can discuss, exchange or do good things any times.

There were free incense that can used for praying and the lady told me I would need 7 sticks of incense for each god. They ranged from Wong Tai Sin (黃大仙, himself), Guan-Yin (觀音), Guan-Yu (關羽), Tu-Di-Gong (土地公), etc. What surprises me was they have a Tai-Sui (太歲) as well. I've only seen on reels made in Asia that especially if one's Chinese zodiac sign lays on the same zodiac sign year, that person's life might be a little difficult for that year, aka Clashing with Tai-Sui (沖太歲). So praying to Tai-Sui helps reducing the hardship that one might experience for that Tai-Sui year. It was exhilarating experience for me to see they have a place for Tai-Sui! It was raining and they just opened when we got there. But, I saw an elderly lady was there, drawing stick seeking for guidance (求籤). They have service providing interpretation of the signatures too. There are donation boxes by each god. Staff are very friendly. Parking: street only

You can do your traditional burn the incense and there are some kneeling pads for you to use. There are little Buddhist items you can purchase, which had been blessed by monks. It is said that it would protect the person who is wearing the item. Also, you can ask for (ping on foo), but that would take some time to get (about a week). You would have to give the name and birthdate of the person you want to bless to the staff and they will pass it on to the monks, so the blessing process can begin. To save some time, just call in with the name and birthdate.

There's great energy here, caring people and always something going on. I'm also a Disciple so I recommend to check out Wei Mountain Temple in LA too if the practices work for you.

We got to peruse displays of the cremated remains (teeth, sweat, brain, etc.) of the Buddha's sages, disciples, and family, as well as the Buddha himself, whiling hearing very interesting stories about the various pieces.  This was a free event, they just ask that you remove your shoes before entering, and are respectful while inside. Many came here to pray, they also had dedicated hours for meditation. We didn't come during that time, but we were fortunate enough to engage in a formal blessing, clearing our minds and accepting a spiritual energy, performed by the abbot on site using the whole body sharira. The presentation of relics throughout the giant main room was beautifully organized, clearly labeled, and enlightening. The environment was peaceful, and a great opportunity to explore the temple as a whole. We were invited to enjoy food and drinks in the lower level kitchen as well. Everyone there was so kind and welcoming. Definitely a unique experience.

Cultivating Tao I am more at peace and calm, and in harmony within and with everyone/thing in life. What more could anyone want than to experience peace at will? Come try it out for yourself! If you want to learn way of Tao online I recommend Derek Lin: www.taoism.net/enter.htm -- "Perhaps the best explanation is that Tao is the way of nature, or the way of the heavens. Taoism is concerned with the sublime patterns of nature. A person can achieve peace and enlightenment by harmonizing his or herself with the course of nature. A person does not need to become a hermit, but he or she must become free from worldly desires (not having attachment to the desire)." -Unknown Author

Though I have personally heard one Ph.D. call I-Kuan Tao "cult-ish", I have also seen people enter here and find long sought after spiritual sustenance. It is more that they smile and say that when you are ready, you will put away such things, and you will happily bow to the origin and sustainer of your soul...
