The round trip was amazing from beginning to end. Flew out of Boeing Field to Friday Harbor. So convenient and quick getting dropped off and moving on to the plane. This is "how the other half live." There is weight restriction on luggage. Views during flight were fantastic!!! Quick and affordable, especially if you only need 1 or 2 seats. Probably cheaper than renting and car, paying (and waiting) for ferry! The pilots were very professional and top notch people. On my way home they drove me to SeaTac to catch my conventional flight home! Highly recommended! The small planes are subject to weather-related postponement/cancellation for obvious reasons!

The service is fast, affordable, friendly and relaxing; it only takes an hour for me to commute to the airport from the island. The service includes being shuttled from the private hangar to the main terminal. I will continue to use Point to Point every time I travel from the island to the airport and avoid a 4 hour trip that includes the ferry and a shuttle vehicle. Jeanne and Point to Point Air are EVERYTHING that commercial airlines are not: friendly, flexible, easy to communicate with, incredibly responsive, resourceful, and affordable. The staff at Point to Point Air are the best! The pilots are incredibly friendly, very competent and safe. We briefly covered all six maneuvers required for the PPL flight exam AND he took the time to point out some of the beautiful geographical landmarks. Highlights included flying around the Stawamus Chief and the spin recovery (so much fun!). He performed the maneuver, while asking me to feel his movements on the controls...then asked if I wanted to give it a go on the second time around. Calm and confident flight instructor. I declined the offer and requested to be refunded so I could book another flight and they said they could only offer a credit. Even though I had to pay out of pocket for a new flight with another airline. After asking for the refund request to be escalated to someone higher I did get the approval for a refund, however keep this in mind if you book with this company.

I thought it would be a great experience gift, although we were nervous initially because we had never been on a tiny, three-seater aircraft before. I spoke with a nice gentleman when I called in to set up our reservation two weeks prior. Sorry I didn't get his name. He was professional and gave detailed information about what to expect. I requested a confirmation email, which he couldn't provide immediately, but he said someone else in the office should be able to create one for me and send it the next business day. I got it as promised. We got to the Westwind office at the airport a few minutes before our reservation time. Our pilot, Scott, was at the front desk, all ready to go. We shook his hand, and he led us out to the little plane. He gave us a nice run-through of the door, seat belts, headsets. Shortly after, we were on the runway, preparing for takeoff. The tour was a delight. It was a beautiful day, mostly clear skies. The views from up above were breathtaking. We easily forgot how nervous we were about being on a tiny plane because we were just so amazed by the views and the whole experience. Scott was knowledgeable about the islands and historical events that took place there. He was also great with answering our questions. Scott did a very smooth landing that we barely felt anything, too. He's a real pro. When we got off the plane, my fiancé needed to use the restroom, and even though he didn't plan on heading back to the office, he took the time to take us there so that we could have access to a restroom. What a memorable experience. I highly recommend contacting these guys if you want to do a scenic tour of the San Juans in a super-cool fashion.

He made an awesome suggestion for the hotel we stayed in. Our pilot was super nice and very patient with us since we wanted to take a million pictures in front of the plane The flight itself was so smooth I actually prefer it to commercial flights. If you want to take a quick weekend trip to Victoria BC then you should totally fly Kenmore Air. It's much quicker then the clipper and honestly not that much more expensive.

Worst customer service ! Left a group of elderly customers out in a floating dock in weather…read morewaiting for the float plane. Kenmore demands that you be early but doesn't even pick up the phone or give any notice if flights are cancelled. That's what is happening to us right now! Stranded out in the wind and cold waiting for a cancelled flight with no notification for over an hour. I have been calling for 97 minutes to Customer Service. Now that I got through all they can say is sorry we are under staffed and didn't anticipate weather problems. They said all morning flights were canceled but didn't give any notice. Not reliable or even care about safety and communication. Worst managed operations systems and customer service services. If you can find another option you will for sure have a better experience and not lose valuable time lost. They obviously don't care my time.

Since I don't have the kind of rugged job where I get to fly around rescuing seals or people or whatever, the dream came true in the form of a helicopter tour I arranged for my husband's birthday from SKY Helicopters. Their service lets you choose from an array of tours out of either Vancouver Harbour or Pitt Meadows Airport, and since it's just you and your party (up to three passengers) and the pilot, you can customize a bit. For our tour, I chose the North Shore/Howe Sound tour, which normally takes you in behind the mountains and through the Lions. The day I booked ended up being cloudy over the peaks, so our pilot Bryce took us up along the North Shore and around Cypress, up Howe Sound, getting amazingly close to the steep, forested mountainsides. I was also amazed to see how all those big mansions of West Van looked like miniature dollhouses and the cars on the highway all looked like toys. Coming back, we were able to spend a bit more time flying over Stanley Park and circling over downtown - which was great because part of the point of the trip was to get some shots of the city from the air with my husband's new GoPro. (If you're really serious about photography, they can even take the doors off, though I wasn't quite ready for that thrill on my first ride!) It was a little sad to touch down again after spending half an hour floating above the world, but the experience was great from start to finish, from the prompt response from Bryce on my initial inquiry through the website to all the emails, phone calls and texts keeping in touch about the itinerary and weather changes etc. (you never know out here!) to just taking us on a fantastic flight. I think we can all agree that Vancouver is a good-looking city surrounded by spectacular scenery. And it looks even more amazing from the air! I have experienced my city from a new angle, plus had a great subject for my 800th YELP REVIEW!!! The SKY is the ultimate high!
