The grounds are kept really clean and trimmed, and the garbage bins were not full or overflowing with gross stuff. There was never any drama amongst the tenants, as everyone is quiet and keeps to themselves. My only complaint being the paper mill is close enough to get sucked in through your heating system and fill your apartment with paper-smell. But that's nothing they can fix, so it doesn't affect the score I'm giving. It's also a great distance from town, and close to QFC. The hospital rarely gets loud, only with the helicopter landing on its roof. And that was only twice while I lived there for 6 months. If I still lived in PT, I would still be there!

They only care about collecting the rent. Raised rent over $750 the last few years without ever fixing anything. 825 W. Sims way is full of BLACK MOLD, drafty windows and doors, old electrical, old plumbing, no way to replace heating filters. Stay away, stay far away from them. If you Google the Port Townsend Leader, Peninsula Daily Newspaper, you will read all about it. The sad part of this is, that the whole thing could have been avoided if management had dine his job in the first place. DO NOT RENT HERE! You can hear everything. Garbage disposals, flipping on and off the light switch, and phone conversations, Lots of busy bodies here, and they seem to "run" the place. The manager lets this happen. The lobby is very outdated with yellow striped wall paper from the hippy age and if you see the furniture there, do not sit on it. Mystery stains!!!! The rec room is worse because people dump off trash and furniture and clothing with the manager's approval. So we have a local thrift store. The furniture there is dirty stained and should be thrown out. There are over 10 bookcases and 80 boxes of puzzles...but try to thrown them away and get new ones and some of the tenants cry! This is not a secure building either. But yet nothing is done. So many things need attention. but no one hears the complaints Run! Forest! Run! Far Far away!.

But good people don't matter the people who play loud music loud TVs breaking the cars do all sorts of bad things are the ones who never get into trouble. It's always a good people who have to suffer. Management at any of the subsidized apartments in Port Townsend or Port Hadlock have horrible managers because the property management companies can't get anyone to take care of them. They want to save money for their Christmas bonus so the managers don't report problems. And no the managers do not care if you had someone break into your apartment or anything like that they just don't care they're just there to do a job collector pay and that's it and they stay four months until they get a better job and move on. A new apartment complex built by Ole cap and will be on Sheridan Street right next to QFC is going to be on the outside interesting choice of colors. I hope that it's cared for properly and I hope that management will be kicking out any bad people who move in there or not allowing them to move in in the first place. I hope that these people who are moving in there it's going to be singles families people of all backgrounds seniors living together I hope that they appreciate they're getting a brand new building. And look how close it is to the hospital and right next door to a grocery store. I hope they take care of it that's a proud of it and they don't be face it. Unfortunately I don't think that will be true for very long. And it's sad to say because I've lived in some places and there was some great people but sadly the majority of people just don't care.
